If you do decide to resign from your job and move there, you could use a co-sponsor. That person would have to file the same paperwork you would have to in order to prove that they make enough.

It could be but it is also possible they have started working on your petition already. In the old days (mid 2007) they were horribly slow but for the most part processed petitions in the order in which they were received. Now they are a little faster but seem to jump from month to month making it difficult for anyone to predict what petition will be approved next. There have been some December approvals already so it could be you will be one of the lucky ones. smile.gif


We'll see!!! I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
There were a number of December filers touched yesterday...all in the December 4th, 5th, 6th range. We sent ours on the 5th.
Then one was approved and they filed on the 14th or something....weird...I don't get how they work..lol

Hmm I really don't know. They will want to know of any past marriages and he has to give names and dates they were married, etc. etc. Be honest, do not lie about this.
He is divorced with the certificate showing so?
I hope someone can give you a little more insight with this as I'm not sure what might happen.
