I had denied for a tourist visa last year (December 2007) and i had my interview last December 02, 2008 and got the PINK SLIP. You will be fine. Consul are friendly. Now we are only one step away, her interview is on 21st APR, pray for us and wish her goodluck. It will be close to a year when the last time we seen each other. All of those stressed that she worried about medical was now in her back, she felt 10 lbs lighter. They took her passport, pictures, and fee of about PHp 10,500, and today gave her vaccinations paper and everything will be forwarded to the USEM. I will post a follow up on these one after her interview on 21st, April. Between now and Tues she will review and organize her documents again. Thanks to those who guided us... to many list to thanks.. will UPDATE... Today my wife got up about 345 in the morning to get ready for her Visa Interview. She got there about 6 am, got in the line, inside, given number, filled up the form, waited to be call and when she was called by her name, it took the CO about 5 minutes to do her interview. She was told that he (CO) thanks the armed forces for doing what they do, told she was APPROVED, given the pink slip and she then paid Php 220 for Air21 and jumping and yelling to get in the taxi. She called me right away after she got home to her friend's house where she decided to stayed instead of the hotel. The money I gave her to pay for hotel used to MAG GALA or visit the Manila which I told her to do. Glad she did now waiting for May 8 and we will be together again. I bought the 1 way ticket in March for $ 910 but she told me she could have got it for $ 775 but HEY as long as she gets here, $ 200 more is worth it for the fare just to be with her. I thank GOD for everything, thank everyone here that supported me and gave me guidance. Thanks all, you know who you are.... MMW,que,merle,happy, and the rest of the VJs. For those whos waiting, there is a light in the end of the tunnel... it will be good to know that our 1st Anniversarry we can spend it together. I guess everything went well and it was very short. They didnt want to see any additional documents of our relationship, only the wedding photos. And just asked very simple questions. The only question that I'm concerned of is when they asked me when do I attend to arrive to US, I said at the end of august because right now Im still working and my contract isn't ending until that. I don't think the officer liked my answer.. What do you think, could this make any difference for the approval??? Maybe I should have said whenever the visa is issued! I know I should be reliefed but yet still feeling worried.. They only took my passport and said they will inform me if there's something they need from me. So let's hope the best!
