Being put on AP has got to feel terrible, do you have any idea why?



At first the embassy told us that they gonna have a background check and document verification. When we emailed them over and over again, they said that the consul needs to be satisfied of our relationship. Kinda scary it sounds like they dont believe us. I had so much proof to show but they didnt even ask for it during my interview.

After NOA2.....

1) Try to call NVC after 2-3 weeks and inquire if they receive your petition and ask for your case number.
2) Case number will be use for your medical.
3) The NVC will actually send your fiance a letter containing your case number and telling you that your case will be forwarded to your respective consulate. But do not wait for letter it will take time to mail, better you have your case number earlier by calling the NVC so you can start for your medical.
4) Download and Fill-up DS forms (ds156, ds156k and ds157)
5) Tell your fiance to send you his affidavit of support (ITR,W2)
6) Start gathering documents you need for your interview. (pictures,emails,call logs,chat logs)
7) Once your case received in your consulate they will inform you or send you a letter telling you that you are eligible for medical and interview. (There are some cases that the beneficiary doesnt receive this letter, so better calling the embassy and inquire them if your case already in their system)

after your NOA2:

1) wait for 2-3 weeks and then call the NVC to inquire about your case number and if its already forwarded to manila consulate. The NVC actually send your fiance a letter containing your case number but waiting for it is a waste of time it take time to mail.
2) once you get your mnl case number, you can use it for ur medical exam.
3) after another 2 to 3 weeks try to call the manila consulate and ask them if they receive your case and if its already in their system. If so you can pay your visa payment at BPI and can schedule your interview.
4) Start gathering other proofs and papers for ur interview. (Affidavit of support, I-134, W2, ITR, emails, chats, letters, pictures, etc)
