K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Packet not yet receive?	Well, it's been 3 weeks I received my NOA2 (march 17, 2011) but until now I haven't receive my packet yet. I wonder where its going... Yeah, Im kinda scared because filipino we have belief that friday the 13 is a bad luck but oh well, GOD will be my protector... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Approved 129f petition Missing in Action...	Not sure what is going on, but I can assure you that your case did not go directly to consulate. The NOA2 letters all say that, (ours did also), but the application definitely goes to NVC where it is assigned a case # then forwarded to consulate. I guess if I were you, I would be calling everyday, and asking to be elevated to a supervisor. Quick question, did you receive your hardcopy in the mail???? Good Luck Yes I agree. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	no packet from Mla embassy after 2 wks	Hi, Like you Im also waiting to receive my packet but I havent received any packet from the embassy containing instructions. But I received an Eligibility Letter from Embassy telling me that I am eligible for an interview. My other question pertains to the validity date stated on NOA2. Ours is from 3/28/2011 to 07/28/2011. What does this mean pls? Am I given until July 28 to finish all paperwork, including obtaining the medical and K1visa and should depart for US on or before that date? Thanks again for any clarifications you can help me with! And yes, you are subject to finish all the paper works before July 28, including the medical and interview. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Stop my Application	We were in a similar situation a month ago - wanting to cancel our petition. Thankfully, we worked things out - it was just some drama on our side from stress - but we came very close to canceling it all Our petition was already at the embassy. I was told to send (scan/email) a signed statement requesting the petition be withdrawn that included our CIS file number, NVC file number, petitioner's full name, beneficiary's full name, both of our dates of birth, and a brief statement explaining why we wanted the petition withdrawn. Like I said, we were able to turn things around before the petition was actually withdrawn - but in your case, if it's for sure that you want it withdrawn - contact NVC as soon as possible. They will probably have you send them a signed statement as well - but since most fiancee visa petitions are in and out of NVC in a matter of days - make sure it's still there. I called NVC too and they told me that since our petition was already at the embassy, they had nothing to do with it anymore. If that's your situation as well, you'll need to contact the embassy. I have here What he sent to incase it can help you for ur document before you send ur application: 1. Application form 2. G325 3. few photos of us together 4. Hotel receipt 5. Plane boarding pass 6. Letter of intent from each of us with signature 7.
