Oh wow, wir haben hier echt einige SUPERWOMEN good.gif

Butterfly, danke dir!

Asia: East and Pacifick1 visa help
I dont think that many people on here have done this whole visa thing befor either but a lawayer can not provide evidence for you. You just have to had met your fiance within the last 2 yrs before filing, every other evidence can be phone records, emails, pictures and letters. My baby and i didnt meet in person for 17 months before filing. All you have to do now before the interview is to keep in contact as much as possible. IM, emails, cards, letters and phone calls.

PS: The instruction on the I-129f form tells you exactly what to do and here are exemple forms, they help alot. www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?pg=examples

Good luck and God's blessings!

That's weird, because my wife was here on the K1 Visa and she was able to apply for a sNN after 2 weeks.
Thank you all.

I guess your wife had a 90days work authorization stamp in her passport. I had that stamp in mine (came through JFK) and thats why i got my SSN. My daughter (7) doesn't have her SSN yet, we are waiting for her EAD approval/Card.

When u aply for her AOS you also have to file the form I-765 (EAD) for her in order to get a SSN.

Hi there and welcome to VJ!
You can apply through british embassy because he lives in London. Someone please correct me if im wrong. Im an austrian citizen but i applied through German embassy because i live in Germany. If you do apply through nigerian embassy how is he going to attend the interview? You have to put his resent add on the petition.

Am I really the only April filler that has not been approved yet? It´s so frustrating having no clue what is going on there:(

Best of Luck my good friend Nerdette. I was off on Friday and just read your post. What is USCIS saying? You sent to them the exact information on the RFE correct? Let me know and I will keep you in my prayers!!

Hello Kim!!
yes, we sent everything right, they just say that we have to wait, that our case is with some officer that will make the decision now. But how long we will wait yet?? We will call senators´offices tomorrow to find out what they are doing with it. I hope that they will actually help us.

OMG!! I too understand what you are going through. No you are not the only April filer left behind. We also filed in April and still waiting for our approval but we are not getting touched like you. At least you know that someone is doing something with your case. We haven't been touched ever since the received our reponse and we also passed the 60 days for RFEs. We called them on friday and they said that they did a service request and if we dont hear anything until Jan 3rd we should call again and they will do an other service request. We are not gone wait that long, we will send a letter to our Senator today and see what they can do. I wish you all the best and hope you will get your approval very soon. You are in my prayers.

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresNot Living Together After I Arrive
QUOTE (goose182 @ Jan 29 2008, 07:47 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi All,

Some background: Married to my wife (she's the USC) in October 2006 (so less than 2 years). I've filled out and submitted both the I-129f and the I-130 applications and they are currently being processed at the CSC.

On to the reason for this topic: After I arrive on my K3 visa, is there any policy that says that I must live with my wife in the US for the duration of my stay in order to retain my visa status?

It seems odd I'm sure, but we want to transition slowly into living together after such a long time apart by starting with just being in the same city and...well...dating each other again I guess you could say. She has a full time job and does 60 hours of coursework/class getting her masters on top of that and isn't sure that she can deal with the stress of me just immediately moving in to her house after such a long separation. We miss each other very much of course, but we don't want to rush into this as it's a very big step. We have lived together before briefly, but it seems like so long ago that we want to ease back into it...

So I was wondering if I'd send up any red flags if I was to rent an apartment for the first 6 months of my stay on my K3? Is there any policy that says that we must reside at the same address for the entire time or risk termination of my visa?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Mike

hmm... i am sorry but is it not what you were supposed to do befor you got married?
How do you want people to believe that the marriage is not fake by living appart? I mean how you guys can be missing each other that much and still wouldn't want to leave together. I sure dont want to judge anybody but the whole thing sounds weired to me but i still wish you good luck!

I will wait for the supporting docs, but i already have the form I-134. My fiance is on a job in Italy and when i went to visit him we did the form I-134 it wasnt easy to find an office to get it notarized i just hope i'll be able to use it for the interview.
Thanks for the reply!

As long as the job doesn't change and the supporting documents are current, the early I-134 will be fine.

The job wont change but we will need a new employer letter, the one we have is from July 07 and i think that will be too old for the interview right?

I think my question was not clear enough. I ment the notarization, can it expire? The reason why im asking is that we've got a RFE witch's gone push us back so maybe our I-134 might get expired before i can go the interview.

Hello VisaJourneyiers!
The DS 156 is in Romanian...My Question is...Does it need to be translated? Or should my fiance keep it as it is and fill it out in Romanian (if I'm understanding him right where he is concerned) He already has to pay a lot for his translations and it would really suck if he has to translate those as well...Any advice from those who have completed this form already?
Thanks,
Lauren

I am not sure if i understand you but when your SO goes online he will find the forms in english so no need for translation.

Hi,
I would like to know what forms I will have to fill out for my son (just turned 7 years) when it comes to the Interview.
And who has to sign his forms???
I know I need DS 156,156k and 230 for myself but what about him????
Anybody who knows???
Nat

Hi Nat,
DS-230 part I for you and him, DS-156 you and him, DS-157 only you because your son is under 16, DS-156K also only you.
You also have to attach a copy of the data pages of your's and your son's passport and as already said, you have to sign your son's docs.

Good luck!

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionHELP PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!

Hi,

I'll tell you what I did. I wrote two checks and put them in a same little envelope.

One for my fees: 465+80= $545.
One for my daughter bio fee: $80.

Now, I sent two separate checks, however I know that you can send just one check with your fees and you daughter fees: $625.

So it's up to you. Good luck :)

Thank you very much!!

One more thing, are the checks "pay to the order of" USCIS Vermont Service Center or USCIS Department of Homeland Security?
