K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Need co-sponsor or not ? Plz help !!	I am getting the affidavit of support for my fiance for him to bring to his interview. I went to my lawyer today who was being very rude, he told me that I do not need a co-sponsor for a fiance visa although I made only $9200 2010 working August to December. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	need help affidavit of suport	The 125% of the poverty level requirement is for CURRENT income and not what she made in the past last year. She still has to provide her 2011 tax transcript, as everyone does(and it is fine that is a joint tax transcript), but her income will be based on what she is earning right now, this year, not last year. If you can't stand her now and she in another country, will you be able to stand her if she gets here and you guys are living together. Remember once you guys marry and you decide to file for a divorce, she may be entitled to alimony and child support. How about you petition for your son and have him visit his mom on holiday breaks. I moved here w/o my mom once my dad petitioned and brought me to the U.S. I would go visit her every summer.
