I gotta admit... I really, really dislike winter -- it's a HUGE pain in the butt regarding normal life. I like it when I'm out having fun in it but trying to conduct normal life in the snow, wind and ice is a real pizzer...
:)
IMHO

Oh yeah, I totally remember. The mom had to go where now? The husband's country? Really?
Man, that is rough stuff...

Do you guys remember all that drama with our events planner and her son-in-law who married her daughter? All that immigration stuff.

Well apparently she had to go down and they grilled HER for 3 hours... is that even normal to grill the mother??

I really do think they've been caught.

They're doing a lot of investigating.

Ha!

I thought the same thing too! I was like, "whoa, weird, where's girl's arm???"
:D

Oh geez. It took me a full minute of squinting at it to realize that. I thought her arm was lopped off just below the shoulder...kinda symbolic-like. Three limbs for three dollars.

I thought it meant that she had been married for 6 years but was avoiding the reality of the passing of time?

*slinks away*

awwwwww (F) I'm sorry to hear that. I hope everything works out for you.

LOL well, truthfully speaking I DON'T know what it is...so I'm assuming you did a civil marriage, and a ceremony a year later....*pure guess*

Ha! Shreddy McShredderson up there! ^

My signature is completely illegible, so if I DID have to change it...I wouldn't have to change it, if you know what I mean!

Almost everyone remarks on my signature. Even the clinician at my medical the other day let out a chuckle when she saw it. It's pretty violent. I used to rip the paper with my pen for the longest time when I was signing...I learned to rein it in a bit though. :P

lggNot TellingCanada2010-01-31 12:27:00

That is awesome! Makes me feel a lot better. I sign my name in very ornate cursive and it looks hilarious when my first name is all La-de-daaa and then my last name is in hard-pressed block letters!!!

;)

fixx0red

I hesitate when signing my name to things too! lol. A lot of that is brought about because I do still retain cards and passport in my former name. I imagine it looks highly suspicious when I mumble "Which name is that in?" lol

I need to find out what this Wegman's is!

And as for last names, I took my husband's and when I sign my signature, I notice a definite slow-down when i get to my last name which is significantly shorter and more common than my maiden name.

I like my new name though -- it's a name, I'm still the same LGG I always was...
:D

I'm the same way before my coffee...

Oh no, it makes perfect sense, I mean I already knew this but for some reason when I read it I thought 'you pluck your eyebrows so you have to wear zero makeup on your face at all'

You see, I had probably not finished my first cup of coffee. Really I can't be held responsible for anything I post before noon.

lggNot TellingCanada2010-01-29 15:11:00
CanadaOff Topic Part Quatre
Well, it opens up the eyes without having use mascara and such -- it just makes the face open up and such...
IMHO!!!

Should have said that in the first place...

I'm confused, what does plucking your eyebrows/not plucking have to do with wearing makeup?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

Oh Krikit...
that was hilarious...

*enters room delicately holding nose and trying not to dislodge the Bioré strip*

Good afternoon, everyone. I have had a busy day thus far. Cleaning, shredding, laundering.... and now I am about to do a bit of shopping. Well, in a minute. As soon as I have caught up here. :)

*sniff*

I think a few of you need to go and sit on the bowl.

Ha!!! You seriously made me laugh outloud at work. That is awesome!
Fiber FTW!!!!

*bwap*
Just a little one to close out the deal...
;)

Hahaha I'm convinced my wife is trying to kill me, she bought some insanely healthy pasta yesterday that had 20 grams of friggin fiber per serving and I had 2.5 for dinner. My stomach was seriously speaking to me in thirteen different languages while I was watching TV and letting my ferret sleep on my chest. She kept looking up at me, rather annoyed I do believe, as her little ears couldn't take the conversation my stomach was trying to have with her hahaha

You made me Lolz!!!! I am going to upkeep mine, they're heavy but just shaped a bit I figure it makes it so I don't have to wear makeup?
But yeah, that sounds like a TON of fun...
Thanks for the giggles lady...
:)

After 16 years of overly tweezed/waxed eyebrows I have decided to let them grow in au natural.

Its been one week and I look like I have a prepubescent boy's mustache growing where my eyebrows should be. This is far worse than growing out really short hair. This is the ugliest in-between stage I've even been in. :crying:

I am a Second Cup girl all the way! I don't really like Tim horton's coffee at all though we're going to go today so that my husband can have some Timbits... he's all on about them...

I like a medium or strong blend and sometimes a half strong and half flavour... especially if it's hazelnut!

Haha.

I'm quite fond of most Starbucks mixed drinks, but I really wish they hadn't gone ahead and settled on ONE dark blend as their regular, every day coffee. I love Gold Coast and their French Roast, so I used to look forward to seeing what the coffee of the day was. Nowadays they only rotate the MILD blends. Grrr. It's sad to see how corporate they've become. I remember doing a study on the company about a decade ago for a college course, and it was a truly different kind of company back then. These days there's not much difference between Starbucks and McDonalds in terms of corporate standardization.
