Trailmix, the NOA2 was December 4th, 2008. If I were you I would call the NVC and ask to speak to a supervisor - as in put me through to one now please. The wait time is not normal and I would be concerned that you are being overlooked for some reason.

That is such a bummer. This means that if what you're saying is correct, we might not interview until December and that would really suck. I know, we all have to wait and blah, blah, blah but today, i"m really feeling like waiting really sucks. Thinking that we might not interview until December really took the cherry off my sundae...

Anyway, you can't believe the NVC operators - some check for real - most don't smile.gif

There was some discussion in here - a theory, that maybe they are only scheduling interviews for IR1/CR1 every other month.

Hi Lgg,

We don't really know as NVC schedules the interviews for CR1 and the actual consulate schedules K1s.

You might have to call NVC and ask that question.

my worst nightmare is what you just described. Geezus... I just did the DING thing too... They don't fly to Santa Barbara? That sucks. connecting flights are horrible -- the stress is crazy. Dont' get ranty, I hear you...

We'll get ranty AFTER xmas when I write to say that I got stuck in buffalo, had my luggage stolen and had to sleep at the bus station due to a whiteout, had nothing to eat but a processed cheese sandwich on white bread and half a bag of fritos and a Tab.

We can rant together.

Yep, it's horrible. I was talking about Southwest Airlines -- they only fly inter USA -- but holy moly do they EVER have awesome prices. Don't know if I said this here or what, I"m sure I have... but the Air Canada flight to my home in the US is 900$ this xmas? They are insane.
But... it is what it is, right?

Man, I hear you guys. I know I'm a CR1 and I'm not sure if our waiting time are the same? Like I don't know if K1s wait longer from receipt of package 3 than we do from completion at NVC? Can anyone enlighten me?

But I hear you -- I am ITCHING to get out of here. I love my Canada but with how they're making us wait sucks AND that paired with Air canada charging 900$ for a one hour flight at xmas? What? I checked the flights from Buffalo to Washington DC and you know what? At christmas time they charge 150$ all in return!

Canada's giving us a hard time with all this.

I hear you guys -- it sucks badly.

Peachy and Varba... that is ROCKING!!!! God some of us have to get moving, no???

I have a question... I called the NVC today and usually, they finish scheduling for the second week in the month it's now what... the 15th? They guy I spoke to ( he did sound like a bit of a knob) said to call back next week as Montreal wasn't done yet.

I presume that this was to get me to STFU and GTFO, right?
