Beside it is a small headline (in the margin)

'All options' on table for pension reform: Flaherty

Should not the reform of pensions be the headline.

I wish I could recall some of the things on there, but he literally posts long "threats" like this everyday, and I'm beginning to wonder if I should say something. I noticed that his girlfriend broke up with him recently, so I'm betting that has something to do with it.
I'm starting to worry that if someone doesn't say something soon that he is going to explode and do something he'll regret, but I'm not even sure how seriously authorities in Canada would take Facebook posts.

I think you'd be surprised! My little sister had some issues with this a few years back. She was 12 years old at the time, and a "friend" and her were talking about a girl from school they didn't like, and I guess in passing my sister said something she shouldn't have about wanting to kick the girl, or smack her, or something stupid kids say when they're angry. Well long story short, my sisters "friend" and her got in a fight, she showed the girl they were talking about a transcript of the convo, the girls mom read it and called the cops, and they came down to the school and were going to arrest my sister. She shouldn't have said it, no, but she was a kid and didn't realize it could come back around. She had never really been in trouble her whole life, straight A's, the whole bit. In the end cooler heads prevailed and they let her off with a warning, but it goes to show you how things you put out on the internet can come back and haunt you! I know its a different situation, but I was really surprised by the cops willingness to take action.

Wyatt... you're moving in with your folks while you're waiting eh? That's pretty damn awesome if I may say... makes life a little easier for you, I'm sure.

Yeah. It's not a GREAT option, but I think it was the best option available to me given my recent financial crunch. Fortunately I have no debtload etc. beyond a car loan, so I don't have that extra stress of keeping up with creditors etc.

I'm now starting to wonder if I can pack everything that REALLY matters to me in my car when I move down, rather than having to take a trailer... I have so damn many books though...and 850 CDs, which take up more room than one might think.

But if my interview is this winter, which I have to hope it will be, then driving across the entire continent through winter conditions may be made more cumbersome with a trailer. I'm sure my car will be fine, being a 2007 front-wheel drive V6 Malibu, but I dunno about the trailer and my precious cargo. Hmm.

It actually feels good to be pretty prepared and ready to go.

I only wish I could bring my cat with me over Xmas and leave her there. I'm going to HOPE that we'll interview shortly after xmas and I won't miss her that much and it woudl make like easier. But I know the rules and I only ever travel with a carry-on bag for my US visits. So what, I wear the same thing for the whole trip, what ofit? CanadaVery important Question!!!
My controls, Edit Profile then customer member profile.

I think you have to reach some sort of quota of posts firsts -- not sure about that.
What confused me is the Customer member profile -- it does NOT sound like what it actually is. I would of called it, cheeky avatar caption or something...

CanadaGood Luck KnJ, Missa and cdn_gewels!!
Um, updates from everyone else???

This whole thread made me LAUGH!!! They'll think I'm a big ole pile of Timbits then or a frog... and to be frank? I have no shame about anything I've said -- it's the truth! If,when, we get our interview they asked, LGG, what do you think about how the Consulate in Montreal is run, I'd tell them. After I received my approval slip, of course!

Sides it's all testament to the fact that there's a whole lot of bone fide, honest and well-informed going on in this thread...

So... the rest of you guys?

How'd it go?

CanadaGood Luck KnJ, Missa and cdn_gewels!!
To be honest, I DO find this interesting. Gosh, I should have signed my letter, LGG!!!

But like I said, my letter was very nice and concise and polite. If I've said anything here then, well, uh... let's just call it duress?

ANd don't you all find it funny that the head guy is working? IT'd be like where I work, having the head of marketing trying to pull out a script and design it
and then send it off to press -- no way would that happen.

Sort of impressive and makes me wonder, how short handed are they...

Blah, blah, blah...

can't wait to hear from the rest of you guys...
Good luck and advance congratulations...
