People who are happy being screwed by a bunch of Nazi wannabees in our government can write about it here, but those who want to sound off about how said wannabees are ruining our lives are told to shut up. Al422, people are always so quick to jump down your throat. haha. I appreciate your posts lol OP, if you threw your worries and stress into a pile with everyone elses - you'd want yours back. Fiance and I are 19 hours apart. Needless to say we chat for about 10 minutes when I'm on my work lunch break and then for another 5 mins when I get off work - by then it's way past midnight where he is. We only really get to talk/skype on the weekend. As for stress relief - exercise is a great way to let off steam. I've also been spending copious amounts of time with my friends and family since it will be a couple of months until I get to be around them. My fiance has started to arrange work for me when I get there - volunteer work I can do to keep me occupied when I get there until I receive EAD. Maybe this will pass some of the time for you? Good luck. Once you get to 5 months nag/###### and whine all you like to USCIS/Senator. Fiance jumps on the bitching train first thing monday morning! US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Travel After K1 Visa Approval	Hi All, I received my visa stamp in passport a few weeks back now and I have since been requested to travel to the UK for work. Will I have any issues in immigration with the visa in my passport? Maybe I am being a little to paranoid?? There is nothing they can do and at my local station if they have people in custody they wont allow you in to process your fingerprints. I had to ring daily to see if there was anyone in custody. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2009 Filers	Hey All, My visa was approved this morning... It was very simple and easy and the whole thing took at most no more then 40 mins. I got there at around 10.15am for an 11am appointment. I was called to the first window in a matter of minutes to pass over my passport, receipt, pics and envelope. Then asked to sit back down for 5mins. I was then called for finerprints. The actual interview took no more then 5 mins and the questions I was asked are as follows. I was actually out of there before the 11am interview time. - How did you meet - Has your fiance been out to visit you - Have you been to the US - How long was longest stay in the US - How are you planning on getting married - When do you intend to leave for the US - How many times has your fiance been to Australia All fairy simple and then had to sign the document stating I intend to marry within 90 days and declare that all I have said is the truth. I also asked how much time should I allow at customs in LAX as i will be heading to NY and she said that I should allow atleast 3 hours to do the other set of interviews at POE. What a relief this is all done now.. I have a family wedding here in Australia that I must attend and I am hoping that after it I would have been approved and can go... I so pray they keep up this level of approvals atleast for a few weeks still. Based on prevoius years they tend to have cycles of quick turn around times during the year and then slow down again. I think slowly i am starting to get obsessive over this stuff.. I mean i have till end of January but I am constantly checking for updates in the hope approval will come sooner for peace of mind. We don't mind the idea of spending a month with them for example Once we receive the NOA2 we will have a good idea of where we stands in terms of having the Visa in hand. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	I-134	Hi, I'm a USC just starting DCF CR-1/IR-1 in Australia for my wife who is a New Zealand Citizen.. I have been in Australia with my wife since February of 2007 but did not start working until September of 07 (Visa took a while)and I am still employed at the same place now....I was not employed in the states for any part of 2007. I have a few questions... Do I have to file a tax return with the IRS for the time I was employed in Australia last year? Do I have to pay taxes in both countries for the same income? Since I wont be filing the I-134 until after April 15, will I need a tax return for income from last year? How many past tax returns will I be needing? If I file the I-130 petition before April 15 will I not be required to show a tax return for income from 2007? Also, I had closed my bank account in the states about 8 months ago, will that be a problem for us?
