I was so upset today again, so I took your advice and called again, and the first guy I spoke to wouldnt transfer me to a TIER 2, until I cried and got upset and he did. Then I had a woman and she started to tell me I was still in the processing time frame, but then she said "Oh wait a second... wait... you were approved!" I said WHATTT??? She said you were approve dlast friday, the 4th! So then I spoke to her and another man and they said that the E-mail and USCIS online portfolio has had trouble updating lately. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	October 2010 CSC filers!	Start by asking them to repeat their name employee number so you can write it down - I think it gets their attention. Be persistent ... you are outside of normal processing time and have the right to a service request. Also, if you haven't already, contact your Congressional Representative and ask them to initialize a service request. I got an answer back from mine in 2 days. Good luck, and I hope you'll have your answer soon!!! Asking them to repeat their name and employee number is a good idea! My fiance called USCIS today and was told that he was sent an email on Feb 26th - which was a saturday? They refused to tell him what it was regarding. Monday I will be faxing my Senator and Representative requesting their assistance in moving things along. I hope that it will help. John I hear yah! My fiance will also be doing the same thing monday morning. I find it laughable that the senators website stresses that uscis are extremely "STRICT" on the order petitions are received! ha! My fiance cheekily called and requested an expedite since I start a job in May - they said we would hear back in 5 days, if not to call back. Fiance will call back tomorrow. We will be at our 5 month mark in a couple of days and you can bet your #### we'll be calling/nagging/whining every day until we have our NOA2! We are hoping to expedite the EAD also - I wonder if that will happen? ha! I'm so sick of wishing everyone good luck because it seems to delay us even further - so ummm fingers crossed instead? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	October 2010 CSC filers!	Can I be the first to say a big fat wat the eff to these Jan/Feb approvals!? What the hell is going on at CSC? Last I checked october came before nov/dec/jan/feb. Saying that they have pulled them out for training exercises is no excuse to 'pull out' peitions filed a few weeks ago - there are mountains of boxes and people waiting that can be used for training purposes. What a load of BS! My fiance called USCIS today and put in an expedite request - they seemed to entertain our request and said we'll be hearing back within 5 days. I don't care that we haven't reached the 5 months - neither did those that filed a month ago. So over this ####### process. GRRRRR!!!!! I was told you could not get your medical done before NOA2 because you HAVE to have your case number from NVC. Hi Rachel-Marie, I had been advised by a few Australian VJ members that we can get a jump on the medical. There are two doctors that will do medicals here in Sydney and the first told me I could not do it until I had my case number. I emailed the embassy and they told me that they highly recommend you wait until NOA2 - but didn't say you couldn't do it. I went ahead and called the second doctors office and they said it was fine - you do not need a case number. The results last for 12 months and are sent directly to me. Thanks!! Hi Alex & Stacee, The doctor provided all forms. He handed me a form that he, the nurse who took my blood and radiologist HAD to sign - I was instructed to take this to my interview. He did have a checklist that asked basic medical questions/history. I'll see what's in the packet I receive from the doctor's office next week. I'm sure you can find that particular form online. So basically she could get arrested, but hey!, this paper is good for one year! Look at the paper! I haven't been in trouble... See where I am going with this? When she gets to her interview, she is going to be very frustrated when they ask her to provide a more recent document. Bahh, I'll take my chances. A lot of Australian VJ members have obtained their Police Check as early as this, even earlier. Plus, it takes around 3-4 weeks for it to come through. It have been since September 7th since my love had to go back home. Emptiness is what I feel, headaches is what we both go through thinking of nothing but this. We see eachother as much as possible on Skype, 5+ hours of video chat a day. Planning our future together and the next steps we will take when she comes home. It is very hard, but remember... you are one day closer to being with your significant other. Just take it day by day and know each day is one day closer to the rest of your life. This wait is a very small fraction of the rest of your lives together. I feel you! It's also been since Sept I saw my fiance. But hey - short term pain for long term gain! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	October 2010 CSC filers!	Hello! We mailed ours on 10/22. I received the email and text on 10/29 and our check was cashed on 11/1. Unfortunately, it isn't showing up on their website. I've been told that many people never have theirs show up until it's been accepted. I wonder if it's the California Service Center in particular that has this happen. Here's wishing everyone luck on a fast and smooth and process! I'm hoping for a July 1st POE, anyone else have a date they are hoping for? Hard to plan anything without knowing when. Lori In my delusional mind, I was hoping for a Feb 1st POE - this was before I joined VJ. Way to kill my dream. haha. Anyway, I'm still hoping by some miracle CSC goes turbo and shoots up with some NOS. Fingers crossed! VJ is giving me a projected NOA2 date of mid Feb - so April-ish is a more realistic goal. I hear Sydney is pretty good at assigning interviews so toes crossed too! Good luck everyone!
