So now waiting for interview date.   Does anyone know, is it ok if i send my spouse a scanned copy of newly filled i-864 with corrections? or do they need my original signature of it? Now waiting for NVC processing... Good luck to you all, hopefully everyone gets your NOA2 soon. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2012 I-130 filers	I hope you get that real fast. at least your file is approved. I went to my Local office yesterday, officer at the window went inside to talk to other officer who is assigned on my case. He came back after 20 mins and said everything looks ok he went through my file. He asked me about my wedding date because he was confuse with the date formate on marriage certificate as it was from India. He said they do not need anything at this point and file has everything in order, officer will look at it when he will finished with other files before me. So at least I have some news that someone is assigned on my case and everything is fine. Hopefully will hear something soon. Thats good news too, hopefully you would get it soon.. Not to be a downer, but you still have a lot of waiting to do. It's been taking a month or somethings longer for field offices to send files to NVC, and then you have to wait another two or so weeks for case numbers, etc. ya, i know. My only concern was the officer yesterday didn't mention about NVC while he was talking. He was like I sent an email to local US embassy in India, they will call your husband for interview and all. He didn't mention anything abt local office sending the file to NVC. Does the file go from Local Office --> NBC --> NVC? or local office --> NVC directly?	DVV	Male	India	2013-04-05 08:13:00

I hope you got some good news Sorry for the delay, By the time my wife came out from USCIS office it was Mid-night in india. I am not quite sure if its good news yet, below are the details Her appointment time was 9:45 AM, As soon as she got her number called, went to the counter and a old aged officer(she said he was very kind) was sitting in that counter. My wife gave him NOA1, he scanned it and started working on his computer. He did not ask her any questions but by wife was telling him all the details.. blah blah.. A couple of minutes later, he called someone inside and a lady came out and they both started to talk to each other. My wife could barely hear them.. the lady office said "no 29th..", then he said " no, thats fine, i can do it". Later she typed something on his computer and went inside. He went inside too and brought my file ( YES, physical file, it has all our documents, the photos etc that we mailed to CSC). He asked my wife only one question while he was going through the docs, " Where is your husband now?, does he live here?", My wife replied " No, he used to be here, Did his M.S in computer science, later worked here for couple of years. Now he is in india". He said, everything looks fine and your case is approved and stamped the file with RED APPROVED MARK. He said, i have nothing to give you now stating the approval, he typed something in computer and said i informed NBC and US consulate in india about the approval, NBC will send you the Approval notice in 15- 20 days, and US consulate will call him for interview (He did not mention abt NVC, was that by mistake?). My wife thanked him .. came out of the office and called me shouting ' YEAHHHHH!!!! its approved'. we both are happpy, But i was a bit skeptical and asked her to calm down a little as we do not have anything on paper or email as its approved. A couple of hours later we got the below automated email from USCIS, which is new ( i never saw something like this, is this normal). Does this mean our petition is approved or NBC will take the final decision as its mentioned below? Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN Your Case Status: Initial Review On April 4, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we certified our approval of this case and sent it to the appropriate appellate body for review. They will notify you directly when they make a final decision. If you move while this case is pending, follow the instructions provided in the notice and use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283. Does this mean we are approved or we need to wait for NBC to send NOA2 to officially celebrate?. sorry for such a long post, but i wanted to give everyone all the details i could, so that it might help you guys. Unfortunately in my case it is NYC You should go to the infopass and try to find out something, maybe they will tell you what month they are working on right now. And also, you said you were told your case was sent back to NBC, so you wanna double check that too... BTW, I got my tourist visa today (yes, miracles happen ), so I will be leaving for NYC in a couple of weeks. Hopefully, I won't have to come back to Serbia before my interview is scheduled. Standard blah blah ( below is the email).. does it mean they are trying to find our files and opening them now or just making some excuse to keep us calm for some more time?, anyways i have infopass appointment in 2 days and now i feel they will tell me the same.. asking me to waiting for 60 days as replied in the e-request email... It would be miracle if they tell me something else..lol The status of this service request is: Thank you for contacting us regarding the status of your application. Of course, I haven't got any reply yet and it's been more than two weeks. Good luck with your infopass, I hope it goes better than ours ya, i got that confirmation number on the website, but i thought we get some kind of notice for that. I'm going to try to get a tourist visa so I can go see my husband, because I just can't take it anymore... Any news about your case? No nothing yet, Its been over a week now since i put in e-request, and i didn't even get that acknowledgement notice yet ( i think we usually get one right?). They told my husband that they received our case on Feb 26 and it's going to be 6-8 months from that date until they process it!!! I don't even want to believe this could be true!!! So what, the five months from Sep to Feb are like nothing?!? He also had an appointment with the congressman's immigration director, who said she would try to help... But I'm just losing all the hope... They obviously think they can do whatever they want r u serious?, then why did they ask to sent the petition to USCIS office in the first place, they should have asked everyone to mail the petitions directly to local office right? totally non-sense. I think they just tell you whatever comes to their mind at that point of time. I think that person was not ur case incharge. I don't believe it. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2012 I-130 filers	When I first called and had a talk with T2 officer, I was told that my case is at NBC, but when I called again after 2 weeks, I was told that it got transfer on JAn 9.You can not believe what they tell you. You will get different answers every time you call. You need to take an infopass appointment and physically go there to confirm, and that is what I did. T2 officer says our i129f has been sent back to NBC, but i130 is still in NYC I thought they are supposed to keep these two petitions together. Anyway, I guess there is no use of calling them at all. I have a feeling that this is going to be our week We have waited more than long enough, so whoever has not received their NOA2 yet should receive it this week Otherwise I'll give up and immigrate to another country Yup Izabela, you are right. We shld recieve our NOA2 this week as its offically 180+ days for sep 2nd week filers. I just put in a e-request today. well that was according to the USCIS customer service. it is hard to get a correct answer from USCIS customer care service if you call 3 times for same question you get 3 different answers. so my wife went to see an immigration officer at local office on Friday, according to him since she is in US they called her for more evidence for our case and trying to speed things up. hopefully case will approve on first week of April.. what is the last updated date of ur file in USCIS case status online page? I just checked my case status and it says: On March 14, 2013, we transferred this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) to another office for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. What the hell are they transferring it after six months??? It has already been transferred from California to Missouri, from Missouri to New York, so I wonder where have they transferred it now???!!!
