PhilippinesTraveling to US with an Infant

Hello Everyone:

Can someone please let me know what the documents requirements are for traveling with an infant from the Philippines to the US? The baby is 9 months old. His CRBA just got approved and he just got his US Passport today. Is there anything else that they need aside from the baby's US Passport? I've heard that they would need an immigration clearance but i dont understand what that is and do we need to apply for that with the US embassy in Manila or can it be applied online? The baby will be traveling with his Filipino citizen mother (who is coming to the US with a K1 visa), and his US citizen grand parents.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

-Jenna

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresK1 Visa - fiancé is pregnant

Whether she can fly or not at any point is a medical issue, not immigration issue. Pregnancy has -0- affect on the immigration process except that if the baby is born before the visa is issued your family size increases by 1 and you have to file a CRBA for the child and possibly need a DNA test. It has no affect on an I-129f petition or K-1 visa application. The child, when born, will be a US citizen and does not need a visa. The child will need a passport.

Thank you for your reply. It's very helpful. She's going to start the I-129f next week. At what point do they need to notify the immigration about her pregnancy? Will it help if she will include the pregnancy result in the application? It would seem like she will get her visa before the baby is born. Would you know how long it will take to file the CRBA and where do they file that and where? I truly appreciate your help.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresK1 Visa - fiancé is pregnant
Hi, I hope someone can help me. Maybe someone with the same case or situation. My friend is 7 weeks pregnant and she is filing a K1 visa. Is that going to be a problem? Will she get approved and can she fly 7 or 8 month pregnant? She haven't started the K1 application yet and she just learned that she's pregnant. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Seems like you've got it down, but you may want to put your own words in the context portion so they know you wrote it.

Awesome! Thank you so much for the reply.
