You should watch The Return.

Netflix actually has a Russian section. You might get some ideas from there.

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionI-134 Support Affidavit
Thank you, bahiabrazil!

I guess it really won't matter then. My salary is just over $20k a year so it should be fine on its own. I'm including my tax returns for the last two years, the letter from my employer, and was thinking of throwing in a couple of my most recent pay stubs.

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionI-134 Support Affidavit
Hi all,

I'm new to forums and just want to say first what a great place this is. I haven't participated until now but it's been a great help to me and my fiance. Being able to read about others' experiences has made our own journey down the visa road that much easier.

I was just wondering... I'm including a statement from my employer with the I-134 form regarding my employment. It will include the standard stuff, date of hire, nature of employment, salary, and the permanent status of my position.

I work on a horse farm and my living is also included as part of my job. I'm provided a two bedroom trailer on the farm property. I do not pay rent or most of the utilities. As my employer considers this part of my salary, should this be included in the statement as well? I don't feel like it could hurt to add that in but I don't know. What do you all think?

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionI-134
I've got the instructions for the I-134 right in front of me and it says:
"Evidence should consist of copies of any or all of the following documentation listed below that are applicable to your situation."

So... a statement from your bank is not required as long as you have sufficient documentation in other areas.

For myself, I don't have a savings account, only a checking account, so I didn't think a statement regarding that account would do much good. I sent in my tax returns for the last two years, three pay stubs from past checks, and a statement from my employer regarding my salary and job position.

hey...actually I have few people stating that if you meet income requirment then no need to show bank /stock balances etc. I was just curious as far as where you see that being stated.? I looked over I134 many many times but I do not see that..Is there any other form where you saw this info? Just wanted to improve my knowledge :) anyways thanks for the tips though..!!!!!!

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionSO in america when packet 3 sent to uk address

Did he get his police certificate ordered and sent to him while here in the US too? I'm hoping we can do that since that seems to take longer than anything else. Thanks for the reply, we haven't hit any snags yet so I'm trying to be careful and do this the best I can....

He did. I believe his mother mailed that out for him a month or two before he returned to the UK. It arrived there in plenty of time to be waiting for him in April. I think they told him that the processing time for it was like 40 days. Your fiance will want to check that out beforehand, of course, to make sure he's sending for it in plenty of time.

Mark was here in the states when he received his packet 3 back in November. His parents scanned and emailed him all the forms and he filled them out and mailed them from here. He returned to the UK in April and sent in his checklist when he was ready. He got packet 4 in the mail ten days later. It all went fairly smoothly.

The only difference I'm aware of between states is the income requirements... but they only effect Hawaii and Alaska.
