IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	ok so Friday 13th - shmirthteenth!!!!     @LoveMyTico - you should keep your fingers crossed more often!!!! I got mine crossed for you and I'm really sending you all of my best vibes ever!   Just a few hours after getting the A# change notice I get the ever so anxiously awaited APPROVAL e-mails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not getting any sleep tonight, neither is hubby - see as how i woke him up at 5:30am..... hehehe   Happy but totally stunned now  still mad it took this long and that nbc let 8 mos go by without regard for any of us as people, but relieved that now i can finally begin to envision the future... home, babies, peace of mind.... without as much anxiety..... it's the little things in life...    I'm updating the spreadsheet now (CSC) So TreezyTran, the next steps are: they send our files to nvc, who then takes their sweet time logging in our cases into their system, we then get a number from them to track our case by (i think), we get to pay them a fee, once they get the money one of the forms online becomes available for us to fill out, we have to send them also the rest of the forms like the financial support affidavit and our originals and copies of marriage cert etc... copy of beneficiary's passport and passport pics and once they chew it all out they will set up the appt with our embassies for the beneficiary and send the beneficiary instructions on where to get the medical done. ... kind of summarized, there's good guidance on VJ, join the nvc thread for december they have lots of good advice.     CONGRATULATIONS   X10  ! ! ! !  !   I am so happy my crossed fingers work for someone !!!!      Keep your fingers and toes corssed for us !!   My husband is so frustrated.  Its hard to explain why it takes so long... IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	My applications (i-130 and i-129f) were transferred on Dec 3. Last night, Dec 12, I received a message notifying me that both applications have been approved.   I still can't believe it. I was in shock. I re-read it over and over making sure I wasn't hallucinating/dreaming. I'm so happy.   For all those who are still waiting, hang in there. Its tough... I hope you get your approval soon! Congrats !  Where were you transferred to? More action out of California...   I almost don't want to boast here because i feel for all my peeps that are still waiting; it's wonderful and exciting but it still stings a bit every time you read someone got approved or their case is moving while you still sit and wait....    so for the sake of statistics: Just got the e-mails on both my i130 and i129 - Alien Registration Number change. And now? 30 days after the transfer still didnt hear about anything. Was my file at the bottom now? Ugggggghhhhh so disappointed PD: APRIL 1ST!!! I really feel like they are grabbing whatever box is closest to the door.   That is why the May filers are getting approvals so fast  ( my little theory)   They are just getting transferred.  Its easier to grab the closest box than to find the correct box and adjudicate in order    right?       So disgusted...       and as far as the expedited Philippinos..... Well, Ok  go ahead and push them through but DANG, can't they assign a special division just for them so the rest of the process doesn't get F*cked up? All I want for Xmas is NoA2~ ME TOO ! At this point, I want to see if I can file an expedite request. Can I do it just based on how long I have been waiting? Since April 19. You can try  but probably won't do any good because they will tell you that you are within the normal processing times. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	there was an approval over on the May Thread today.    Today is not my day to  feel happy for any approvals filed after April.   Im just not feeling it today.    I only feel jealousy...  Can't help it     I am very frustrated .  Why aren't there more approvals coming through????  Guys quite a few April approvals were not updated and a few names who were transferred were left out in the April spreadsheet.... I have updated everything till date by referring to the comments posted in the last 100 April thread pages. Unfortunately the approval percentage diagram has got corrupted. Each day going by is a killer. OK, I'm good with that !!     I can't stand being away from my husband.  ( and I know it is the same for everyone here)  I just left him on Sunday but it has been so hard since I came home.   Chats and phone calls aren't enough.   I hope Santa brings us an approval.   I really really wish for a Christmas Miracle !! There are many of us that were transferred from the National Benefits Center to your office in November. We are all suffering extended processing times. Please grant us all a Christmas wish and process as many of the transferred files as quickly as possible. As you spend the holidays with your families, please remember that we have been apart from ours for almost a year and some even longer. The California Service Center is approving at a great pace. As a Texan, I know that we can?t let ourselves be outdone by them! Thank you for your efforts to make this holiday miracle happen for us! Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!   It had some holiday graphics...I didn't put my name on it...not sure how it would be received. Crazy.  CONGRATS ! ! ! !   Keep me posted on the K3.   If they do that to us, I want the K3. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	So I guess as long as they have one SINGLE file with that Feb 12th date they aren't TECHNICALLY lying.   What swindlers.....    Of course they are lying to us.  its the name of them game.  Most people file and never go online to find out what is going on.  They stay ignorant to the process and just accept the fact that it takes a long time.  And then there is VJ.        VJ is a miniscule percentage of filers but we still see the trend.    Today is the 10th.  Just a few more days til the update.   I don't really expect them to change the processing date.  They will get a flood of service requests if that happens. ( go look at the MAY THREAD)   (SIGH)   So I hate to say it,   they are grabbing random files.     They do a little from one batch and then a new batch comes in and they do a little from that batch and then another new batch comes in.   Going in order isn't brain surgery.     #######? I know what u mean, i'm going to be with my man for 12 days ard new yrs and it's always so bitter-sweet. I'm already dreading leaving him AGAIN! So texas is bad, i mean weather wise, i live in the dfw area an i havent gotten in my car since thursday. Thanfully i can telecommute, but i wouldn't count on the uscis ( in the area, mesquite i think) to be doing much till this lets up. It's looking up tho, i think tomorrow should be a working day for all. Hang in there! I'm really holding out hope for approvals b4 xmas break! THANKS ! ! ! !   I told my husband that Santa is bringing our approval.. So everyone needs to keep a watch the week before Christmas.. Even the 23rd which is a  Monday.    There was this Huge Santa Claus looking guy standing at the baggage carousel at the Philly airport last night.  He really looked like santa.. NO lie.. I kept telling everyone it was a Christmas miracle that our flight was able to get back to Philly because santa was there ! !  !LOL   I had to find humor somewhere..LOL LOL LOL     I should have asked for an approval while I was standing there with him.       I'm so tired.  Seeing my approval would make my day... Oh really?    what was the update???   A# ? Name Change?      That is a really good sign that somebody is actually alive over there.   I heard somewhere that they are allowed to take work home... IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	So Im back from seeing my husband for 11 days.  It was hard to leave him.  My connecting flight was delays 5 hours because the Philadelphia airport was closed due to the snow.  I almost had to stay over night in Houston. My head hit the pillow at 1:40 am and the alarm went off at 5am.  needless to say, I'm a walking zombie today.  Not even close to being in the mood to be here at work.       Ok, soooo    I saw some Saturday approvals... Let's hope they handed out some OT for the USCIS people and they will actually do some work and get April finished.  I am disappointed in the progress at TSC.  CSC is moving so fast... What is the issue over in Texas???   I broke a mirror in Costa Rica. I swear that is why I was transferred to TEXAS.   let's hope that Texas wakes up. I have been reading all tbe posts from my email since hanging online is costing me a small fortune here in Costa Rica. I think i already put $60 on my phone so far. Lol Im a little annoyed that Texas is going so slow. I have a layover in Houston on Sunday, my husband told me to go check our papers while I'm there. I think i would die if i received an email saying the alien registration number has changed. So far, everyone who receives that get approved shortly after. LETS GO TEXAS...... Mine went to Texas. I received same emails like you. before I left for Costa Rica, I think about a week, I asked my senators office to inquire for me. I was actually pissed off that I didn't get a response before I left but now I'm ok. Lol the senators office said My case was transferred to TSC.
