IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	Incredible!!!  I just called the automated number to USCIS, just to see what my case status was showng, since I have not called for awhile.  So it tells me the standard "it's been transferred, and going through normal processing", then the recording goes on to say "please allow 180 days from transfer date for any inquiries".  There needs to be a whole revamp of the USCIS!!!!I guess another thing to bug my congresswoman about....as if it will help!!! you received a notice regarding 60 days when you got your hard copy for the transfer. Go with that.   They give this outrageous date because they don't want us calling and bothering them.  The 180 days gives them room to breathe without being held accountable.. thats all that is.   And that is what the Feb 12th date is too. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	hmmmmmmm, just spoke to tier 2 and she said file is in Wichita local field office,   (this lady verified lots of info so she had my file on screen)   but a info pass on friday at local wichita office she said file was in Omaha  Nebraska ,  (this lady did not verify much)    iam so confused and mad about this whole situation.      Your file is NOT in Kansas anymore   LOL    Its in Nebraska ( with the tumbleweeds )   Files are going to one of the three service centers.  Tier 1 and Tier 2 don't know a dang thing.  What did your hard copy of the transfer say? FYI...I contacted USCIS a week after the hard copy of the transfer notice. The agent on the phone notified me she will have the TSC contact me before 12/21/13. Have you guys tried doings that? Maybe the phone call might help? I hope everyone gets it soon! Good luck! Have patience... I know how hard it can be.... can you fill in your timeline?  It says California service center on the top..  That is why you didn't get an estimated approval date. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	Good morning to all and congratulations to those approvals over the weekend...I am sitting here at the JFK airport awaiting my flight to go spend the holidays with my husband in DR...I am very happy and excited to finally being with my hubby, but at the same time I feel so disappointed and sad because I prayed so hard for a miracle of getting my approval by today...it would have been the greatest surprise for my husband. well happy holidays to all and may you all have a very happy new year. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	So I am a bit concerned, on Nov 15, I received an emailed about my transfer. The paper transfer notice said i was transferred TSC...but I used the automated phone system to check the status and it says: Nov 18, USCIS transferred my app to office in lee summit MO. Which notice to I trust? This is making me worried since other people which were transferred after me are getting approvals at TSC before me. Should I schedule an infopass? that's strange.  Isn't that where your file originally was?     It seems this whole immigration process is full of gliches and error messages.       Call a tier 2 and maybe you'll get lucky  or contact a senator's office and explain to them what happened. Ask them to make an inquiry. That is how I found out I was transferred to  TSC only  2 days after I got the email notice.   I actually made the inquiry before I left to Costa Rica.  I htought they forgot about me. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	See this makes me positive they have no guidelines or standard format for processing because all 3 of us filed the I-129f and have all had different experiences.  I only ever received 2 transfer notices each for both the I-130 & I-129f, then approved both so 2 NOA2s, THEN they did change of A# notice for the I-129f and its back to "initial review" for that form.  And the I-130 is just sitting somewhere in a basket. :-(   Oh USCIS...its like banging my head against a brick wall....someday (hopefully soon) I'll never again have to speak (or type) those 5 letters.     Yep, someday soon we can all be on our Merry Ways and never have to call and listen to lies. LOL    Unfortunately most of us have to file to clear conditions but it won't be as painful because our spouses will be with us.        GOOD VIBES TODAY !!!!  I hope the processors in Texas  fuel up with coffee and adjudicate their BUTTS OFF today. I hope that your petitions will get approved this week! Well,  Thank you very much for the special prayers !!  I need them and so soes everyone else.     I told my husband last night that I feel that something should happen this week.     It has been so depressing watching all the approvals for this thread. I feel like I  know everyone . While I am so happy for everyone, I can't help but wonder when our number will come up. This week is probably our  last chance before the holidays. I know many of you are still waiting for approval...but I was wondering which person I should talk to atUSCIS to find out if my file has been mailed yet.  Lots of you who have been approved have reported getting your email saying its been mailed...I haven't gotten it yet. :-(  I think they are waiting until my I-129f is closed before mailing.  But is that something Tier 1 or Tier 2 operator will be able to tell me.  I've only ever called once, so I don't know who knows what  info.   Thanks!  Wishing you all hear good news about approvals by Christmas!  hmmm,  that makes me wonder about the K-3. However, when I get to this point I am not sure which to select.   Does anyone know what I should select at this point? Typographical error on a notice you received Non-Delivery of ASC Appointment Notice   I am trying to file a service request to simply get an update on my case. PD April 4th, transferred to NSC on November 15th and now sitting there!   Many thanks for any help you can provide. if you didn't file before Feb 12th I doubt VERY much they will let you file a service request. We even put in a copy of the visa I had for when I used to live in the USA because of my fathers job, and we met in person in the states... We will see, of course my husband is stressed from work and the gov shutdown (af reserve) so he won't try to call now...this thing is really putting a strain on our marriage crossing all fingers & TOES for you!!! You are such a great forum member with so much helpful insight! <3 Fingers & toes are fine with me.  Just talked to my husband and I went on and on about all the approvals and RFE's.  We are both so bummed that we got transferred to TSC ( the slowest center so far)  I joke about how we have a dark cloud above us.   He was cute... he told me he has a christmas present for me but since I won't be there until February, it will double as a Valentine's gift too..     I just want an approval. Oh man, I'd have to get mine translated for sure Yea, I had my husbands translated and my lawyer put it in the package.  He asked for it so I gave it to him. from what I understand, its not required at the USCIS level but some service centers ask for it.   I think if I were you, I'd get that thing translated on Monday morning. Maybe ours is on someones desk.   At least they are looking at your file.   Just curious.... did you put both birth certificates in your package ?  I read a while back  that some people are getting an RFE because they need both borth certs.... Transferred to CSC and got last transfer notice on 2nd Dec. NOA1 was 18th April.   Good luck to those still waiting, your time is close I can feel it. (Especially Lovemytico, I don't like to have faves, but I really hope you get yours before christmas!) Will update my timeline and spreadsheet now (before anuspras reminds me )  THANKS KATIE !!      CONGRATS !! ! ! ! ! !  !    Your approval has me about to cry....  I am happy for you.....   I hope our approval comes next week.  I want to have something good to tell my husband.  Its bad enough we can't be together for Christmas... I got mine crossed for you and I'm really sending you all of my best vibes ever!   Just a few hours after getting the A# change notice I get the ever so anxiously awaited APPROVAL e-mails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not getting any sleep tonight, neither is hubby - see as how i woke him up at 5:30am..... hehehe   Happy but totally stunned now  still mad it took this long and that nbc let 8 mos go by without regard for any of us as people, but relieved that now i can finally begin to envision the future... home, babies, peace of mind.... without as much anxiety..... it's the little things in life...    I'm updating the spreadsheet now (CSC) So TreezyTran, the next steps are: they send our files to nvc, who then takes their sweet time logging in our cases into their system, we then get a number from them to track our case by (i think), we get to pay them a fee, once they get the money one of the forms online becomes available for us to fill out, we have to send them also the rest of the forms like the financial support affidavit and our originals and copies of marriage cert etc... copy of beneficiary's passport and passport pics and once they chew it all out they will set up the appt with our embassies for the beneficiary and send the beneficiary instructions on where to get the medical done. ... kind of summarized, there's good guidance on VJ, join the nvc thread for december they have lots of good advice.     CONGRATULATIONS   X10  ! ! ! !  !   I am so happy my crossed fingers work for someone !!!!      Keep your fingers and toes corssed for us !!   My husband is so frustrated.  Its hard to explain why it takes so long...
