We have searched our files using the beneficiary’s and petitioner’s names and the Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) receipt numbers provided in your correspondence and found no record at National Visa Center (NVC) of an approved immigrant visa petition filed by XXXXXXXX on behalf of XXXXXXX with the assigned CIS receipt numbers xxxxxxxxand EACxxxxxxx. In order for NVC to properly verify receipt and status of the petition, we need to receive additional information. Please provide us with the beneficiary’s name, date and country of birth, and a copy of the Notice of Action (Form I-797), that indicates the case has been approved and sent to NVC. Yeah, when I found him I was so close to giving up on love and relationships. We always talk about turning our crazy story into a book and then a movie. I definitely am the fairytale type of person and was always disappointed that my life was nothing like a fairtytale until I found him again luv.gif I tell my hubby maybe we tell the CO that we intend to make a movie out of our story one day, therefore he should give him the visa right away so we can mention the amazing CO who helped bring us together in our movie and make him or her famous lol tongue.gif

Jen, I hope u get the answers u seek. I went through the same thing yesterday. It took a combination of phone calls, voicemails and emails to get the result I wanted!!! And was asked to back off and allow the process to take its natural course. NATURAL COURSE??? Isn't 240 something days natural enough? Let me try taking ur spouse away and placing them on a continent far away and let's see how patient u will be. This whole process is not only stupid and aggravating, emotionally and financially exhausting. For the past 2 yrs, my health has suffered from it as a result. And no one can understand what it's like unless they were in ur shoes... I guess they don't understand that a mere one day delay means an additional month of waiting at NVC! If we can't get a May interview, we would be stuck with a June interview and at this point that is not an option if I have a say in it!!! mad.gif There is one more week left in March so unless all of our docs are sent in by the EOM, we run the risk to be delayed till June!

I just love when you call someone and the secretary asks " who's calling?" you know when they are busy or on the other line, its because they don't want to talk with you. I am tired of being brushed aside. I am trying to find out where my papers are and NOBODY wants to help. its been 2 weeks since my approval. You can't tell me it takes 2 weeks to send papers from VT to NH.....

I sent a formal inquiry on my petitions to the NVC last night. The FEDEX package was delivered this morning. So MAYBE they will respond to that. I sent an e-mail requesting info to the NVC. It was read yesterday morning but nobody responded. Real nice, huh?

This whole process is stupid.

ok, I just called again.... The rep was very nice... even put me on hold to ask a supervisor what I can do. came back and told me I need to wait 90 days...blah blah blah but she did tell me that its not even scanned into the building. she said usually it is scanned in when it is is the building and they can tell if it is in the system or not but mine isn't even in the building... So NOW, Im really annoyed.

I had my husband sign the W-7 when I was in CR and I had a copy of his passport certified. I wasn't sure how I was going to file. But I didn't need it afterall. The certified copy of the passport cost me $20. Freakin swindlers...

OK, interesting info I just got from my phone call to the NVC.
I lied and told them the Senators offiCe inquired about my cases and was told they ARE at the NVC. She told me she has no record BUT if I send copies of my approval letters to the NVC address, they will do a more extensive SEARCH than what the reps can see on the screen. She said they can tell me where my cases are. So Tomorrow morning I will be FEDEXing my letters to the NVC and I expect them to tell me where my cases are. DANG IT !! I might even run out to staples now and make the copies and send it tonight. I was approved 12 days ago. This is almost 2 weeks of lost time

I filed HH because my husband doesn't have a SS#. I couldn't get the EIC without both SS#'s. That was a difference of $2000.00 I didn't want to wait for the refund either. I just filed electronically like I always do. Next year he will have a SS# and we will be fine.

I had one really nice rep at NVC tell me that the K visa paperwork is usually in and out of there in 72 hours. She saID THEY ARE FAST. So what happened to my files.

The senators office and the congressional office both say it has been sent to the NVC on March 6th.
