I turned in the waiver I had with me and she said she would read it. They can't make the interview appointment until they have the marriage cert. I don't know if Tucho took it to the embassy yet. I can't fly there again so soon anyway. Tucho went to the Jungle for the week, so I have no way to call him. I have to wait til he comes back down the mountain. Today is rainy and disgusting... K-3 Spousal Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	K3 FAMILY Hangout - Week of April 27	The CO only asked Tucho a few questions.... it was 45 minutes of interviewing me. And funny thing is.... The CO was american and grew up in a town close to mine AND she has an aunt and uncle who live in my town. She said she knows my town very well. SMALL WORLD. The CO told me the wait for processing the waivers is about 1 year. She said it could be less though. I spoke to my attorney last night. He told me Tucho is "as good as in" and it is good news that the waivers will be sent to Honduras instead of Philadelphia. He said he never heard of a second interview with the petitioner but every Embassy is different. . He said the processing is more like 6 months. They just tell you 1 year to allow enough time. I don't have the money to fly back to CR right now. The second interview is for the CO to write a recommendation for the waivers that go to Honduras.	LoveMyTico	Female	Costa Rica	2009-05-01 08:23:00
K-3 Spousal Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	K3 FAMILY Hangout - Week of April 27	HI ALL I'm here. I didn't have internet in Costa Rica. We went for the interview.... I need to go back to Costa Rica for another interview for me.... They wanted me back next week but I just can't do that. I don't have a dollar to my name. I am exhausted and I am sick. I went to work yesterday. My bosses found out that I am sick and they sent me to the doctor on campus. Two doctors grilled me about my symptoms and then told me I had to go home and not come back til Monday. They also called the Health Authority and reported me. Got a call from the Health Dept and they told me to go see my family Doctor. I don't have health insurance so NO CAN DO. I have flu like symptoms. I am sure I got the virus from the nasty people on the plane...ICK.. but all the panic about Swine Flu is making everyone crazy. Congrats to everyone for all that has happened while I was away. He also made the appointment before he even had the packet and I made the interview appointment the day the packet arrivedin Costa Rica. I got to pick what day. Try calling the embassy. Maybe they have a list of doctors they can e-mail to you so you can at least get your doctors appt out of the way and you x-ray and labs. I asked them to e-mail me the packet 3 so I could help get things taken care of. They e-mailed me the packet the very next day. They should be leaving today or tomorrow and they will be in CR next week. It takes about 3 days for DHL to deliver the papers to the Embassy. Stay on top of them. The people at the Embassy are very nice and really helpful. It should be all down hill for you now. Lisa, I am so happy your journey is almost over. ONE MORE DAY???? OMG I BET YOU HAVEN'T SLEPT..... We've had minor tiffs and issues (which is to be expected) but for the most part, everything is okay. I'm still shocked that he's here. Looks like you both have been busy bees So happy for you guys. Minor tiffs and issues in a marriage make it all the more exciting please call TUcho and let him in on that little secret about minor tiffs.
