I asked is there a possibility that there will be a second round of interviews for the London embassy, the guy Jim stated that yes sometimes that occurs, but there is no guarantee... Anyone in this forum have this experience, especially at the london embassy? Horse Pucky....  I don't believe that #######..  We have so many people in VJ waiting for interviews.  I know we are a small percentage of filers  but they must be holding out for everyone.    Wait til the 15th .. The fingerprints are sometimes done at the POE. I would not worry about it if it is not mentioned in the interview letter. finger prints might be done at the interview.... IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2014 Interviews	My Medicals just got over today..went smooth..   Got the sealed medical envelope,now waiting for the interview day and be done with this.   DHL shows the file has been delivered to the consulate but CEAC still shows as 'In transit'.   Yay !!   one more thing out of the way !   So you got the envelope before you left the office?      My husband has to get his done soon  and I was wondering if all countries give the envelope to the beneficiary the same time as the appointment. So I immediately checked the ceac website and it says ISSUED!!! Yay! I'm so relieved. I'm feeling a bit foolish for freaking out on Friday. But thank you everyone for all the support. You were right Bkghosh!!!!! He's going to buy the ticket today. Looks like the 21st is a go!!!! OMG!!!!! I can't wait!!!! It's less than 2 weeks!!!!! Good luck to everyone waiting for interviews!!! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2014 Interviews	Well I called NVC just before they closed for the weekend and no interview date yet, but Don assured me that they are still scheduling July interviews. NVC completed my case on June 2nd but put it back in review and completed it again on June 4th. The supervisor told me they were just reviewing since there was another piece of mail from May 23rd (which was only an email they sent to me that was incorrect and then corrected)   I got a supervisor involved and she was great !    Now I just want my interview.  It looks like the interviews will be scheduled this week. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2014 Interviews	Huzzah!  Looks good for a July interview for us, then.  I really like this PDF, it's fun looking at all the countries.  It's funny, Suriname only issued TWO immigrant visas last year!   I'm still a tiny bit nervous.  I drive past the USA embassy every day on my way to work and there's always a huge line of people outside waiting.  Though I know the ones waiting aren't for immigrant visas.  If you're a gringo or with a gringo you don't have to wait in the line read my last post in the other thread.. I was surfing the State Dept website and I found the stats on all the countries..   Compared to Mexico (37,000 something)  Costa Rica is dead . LOL ! ! ! ! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2014 Interviews	Advice please!   I got CC on May 31, is it at least 90% sure I'll get an interview in July?  San Jose embassy seems to be pretty low traffic. the State Dept reports about 312 per year.  divide it down.. thats like 6 per week.     I'd say yes !! go ahead and write that letter of resignation !  Chill out with the hubby .    I am so happy that we are both at this point. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2014	case complete guys   so the deal is this -- they are completing my case and sending it to the embassy, but want my wife to bring another copy of the marriage certificate with her.  not sure how that makes any sense, but i'll take it CONGRATS!  !!!   FINALLY !!!!!   They will not send anything to you. If you need to bring another Marriage Cert... you have to get another one.    (unless they gave you a CC and sent your file to the embassy and something was leftover at the NVC, then they will mail it to you)   These people are just ridiculous...  Glad you finally got through !! I have been going thru the thread And I am seeing this thing about N/A regarding Place of resident etc. can somebody explain this to me as I don't want to receive any checklist please. Which form are we talking about just the I-864 or any other form if any question isn't applicable to me or the hubby, I should put N/A instead of leaving blank? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2014	HOLY COW! my AOS fee on the ceac website just changed to N/A.  I heard it was case complete. Did any of you who got a checklist saw that on your page? I can't even call NVC because they are closed.            YAHOOOOOOO    Get on that phone a few minutes before 7am EST MONDAY MORNING to be the first caller !!   The AOS fee went to N/A for me when I got my Case Complete AND it went back to PAID when the satus chaned to "in Transit" !!  So I definitely think that is a sign that something changed with your case.      Waiting until Monday will be hard  but   enjoy your weekend and get ready for GOOD News ! !!! NBC	I don't understand how those numbers work.  My number is msc13907021XX, which I assumed is 50000 ahead of that number.  PD is march 4.  However my case still "initial review", no transferred no approved. Can anyone explain why? I think its a lost cause to try and type in random numbers looking for approvals. Not all MSC numbers are I-130's.. I am pretty sure they at least separate the I-130's from the other types of files. I think I read that each adjudicator is assigned to a certain type of file ( I-130's or K-1's etc.)  I could be wrong  but that could explain the gaps in approvals.... NBC	Just called the USCIS, the first representative just told me the same thing on the website regarding the processing times for I-130, waited for tier 2 officer, asked her when was the last time my case was touched she said last week, Oct 16. What does this mean? My PD is March 25. It's been 8 months, and this ####### is getting on my last nerves. I haven't called in like 2 months.. Its too depressing... but I just sucked it up and I called...  Same #######... so I asked to be transferred and the guy was like" ok, since you're refusing my help, I will transfer you" I said very nicely ( biting my tongue)" I'm not refusing your help honey, I just don't think you have enough information in front of you"  So now I'm on a 55 minute call back...  Not bad for a Monday morning..  I'm so not getting my hopes up... NBC	Can someone more knowledgeable than I am please kindly educate me on why I-129Fs for fiances are being processed so fast at the service centers while USCIS kindly decided to send all of our I-130s to the NBC??? What is the reason they can't process everything EQUALLY???? I just don't get it. Why are we all disenfranchised, yet people who aren't even in a legally binding relationship given preferential treatment??? Please someone tell me. It is  a slap in the face..... it makes me sick....    and how many of those K-1s actually get married?  And how many actually leave if they don't? Kinda makes me sick... especially with the reform right around the corner.... No chance of getting deported.... not here....    I would love to know why they are dragging their a$$es on processing the I-130's.  I thought about the NVC being back logged and maybe they wanted to give them a chance to catch up...  The k-1's are just like the K-3's... they only get a case number at the NVC then go straight to the embassy... maybe that is why those are getting approved so fast.   Just a thought.... because nothing else makes sense. Every day I call I hear from every rep that it takes up to 8 week to receive the case. NBC	I tried the new e-Request inputting my info for the I-129F, K3 visa.  It will be seven months since I filed for the K3 (Oct 10).  After filling in the info and pressing "send" I got an instant reply that I was within normal processing times.  So I guess the whole 5 month K3 national average processing times is incorrect!  new e-request?   can you post the link?
