IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2014 Interviews	The last package I see leaving for Costa Rica left the 9th and arrived in Costa Rica the 11th. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2014 Interviews	I found out why it's taking them forever.. They changed my case complete date to June 11    this is why calling everyday helps....  I got my CC on June 2nd... I called on the 3rd to check ... still CC. I called on the 4th in the morning.. they told me I did NOT have a CC... I immediately asked for a supervisor, she told me that she would look into this and get back to  me... She did call me back 2 hours later and told me they promised to have this taken care of that evening.. and so I called later that night around 10pm and I had my CC baack !!!  Then the supervisor called me the next day to confirm my CC.  She was really helpful.  If you would have called sooner you could  have gotten a supervisor to check into it !!      You should expect a CC email tomorrow in the early morning EST	LoveMyTico	Female	Costa Rica	2014-06-17 07:30:00

Tell them you already gave them thier "30 days"     But wait.... you have CC  you just don't have an interview??? right?????    Some people didn't get a CC letter... IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2014 Interviews	My husband called to ask, and evidently the embassy only answers "those types of questions" (about consular stuff I guess) between 9am-11am.  He called at 11:10am.  They refused to look to see if the file was there.   That's freaking Costa Rica for you... yea, I kinda thought that would be the case... I read that on the embassy website... but for God's Sake... they can't just verifiy that its there? goodness !!  I guess they think a question might be generated once the caller gets confirmation....    My husband shaves his entire head.. tell your husband to look for the " 5ft5in bald guy" in the waiting room !!    CUZ you know that waiting is what Costa Ricans do best !!   I am sure he will be wearing his favorite black Nike  basebal hat. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2014 Interviews	Mine is in San Jose getting medical stuff done! mine did the blood work and x-ray last Friday and has an appt with the doctor tomorrow at 10am.   He was hoping the file would be at the embassy so he could swing by tomorrow after the doctor appt. The drive is about 2 hours from his house. He just wanted to kill 2 birds with one stone.  Friggin gas is so expensive these days.  I don't have to tell you though. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2014 Interviews	I'm fairly certain that traveldocs thing is so they can mail you your passport with visa stuff inside after the interview.   I still haven't got a CC email, and I was approved May 31.  It's not the CC email that matters, it's the interview one Silly question because I am sure you would post the answer if you knew.. but have you had time to call the embassy to see if they received your file.  NVC told me this morning that it looks like my file was sent 6-13 but I can't find a package on DHL that left on Friday.     The last package sent for CR was on the 6th, but actually departed on the 9th and delivered on the 11th. Is it possible that they already scheduled the interviews before we called to get the dates and our files could be in that package?  I keep forgetting about the time difference... so if they created a label on the 13th.. maybe DHL didn't even pick up the packages from NVC yet.... IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2014 Interviews	GOOD MORNING ALL !!.   I called the NVC and Joy picked up...  Maybe she was on vacation last week because she was very nice this morning...   ANYWAY !    I am trying to track my package to Costa Rica.. and I know this subject has been beaten to death  but       I can track a package to Costa Rica on the 6th of June  ( Friday)  Looks like it left on the 9th and arrived in CR on Wednesday the 11th.  I don't think that is my pacakge because I didn't get an interview date until the 11th. Joy told me that  it looks like my package left on Friday ( the 13th of all days )   but I am not getting any results when I track it !    Could it be possible that the dates are delayed in the NVC system just like everything else???  of is it possible that the tracking just isn't available yet? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2014 Interviews	Nope, he's gotta go next week.  He didn't have time today.  I made him get another police record because the one he has now runs out July 11.  Better safe than sorry. the lab and the x-ray are walk in    but you need to make an appt with one of the doctors first so the lab and x-ray can be sent to them in time for the appt.   when you go to  the medical appt, the results will be there. Husband said they take  one LARGE vial of blood.  X-ray took 10 minutes tops. He went today for the blood test and x-ray. It always has been spot on call NVC they say it left NVC xx day figure one or 2 days later it will be logged at Boston and off it goes usually 4 days max to destination.   I would say that's yours. As you see it left the 9th Boston that's when the clock ticks for DHL.   It's there and now you can relax.   This is why i tell people just watch the CEAC site because tracking is very precise and you don't know if that package is yours or 20 K1's or a reaffirm going back or what. It's a guesstimate at best and and no one at NVC even knows we know this stuff and tracking.   Like I said I only knew my for sure because of the weight and there was no doubt. so then the status on the CEAC changes when the embassy scans it ( or whatever they do to receive it)???    I am leaning towards it already being there since nothing went out to San Jose today .. But San Jose is the destination so figure its there.   Is this better for you. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2014 Interviews	CEAC says "In Transit"!!!   Going to attempt to DHL track it now.   ETA- tried to track and it didn't work.  I'll try again tomorrow.  I always ship DHL and I know it takes sometimes a day for it to show up online. mine says  current processing site   SAN JOSE.. I went back bad reviewed the DS 230 and realized I made a minor typo in my wife's previous address. I added an additional letter to her commune. I'm wondering if I should get this fixed or let it go since it's case completed now. Thanks! Do you mean the DS 260?    Its not big deal.. Just correct it during your interview. I guess making moving plans after I just moved two weeks ago is not fun at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   But still, I still want July to get here as fast as possible!!!!!!!!!!! I'm dead tired and I all I want to do is go home and relax but my son is graduating high school tonight !! ( yahoooeeeyyy) Its supposed to pour rain tonight so they moved it inside.    2 kids down and 1 to go.   She starts high school in September.   WOW  my babies are all grown up now !    Time to have one more before the shop closes       OMG if I had to move it would be easier to just light a match and throw it on the house !!       How many days did it take for the NVC to send your file to the embassy?   I hope they don't hold on to them.. Walk-in only.. They told him it doesn't take long at all. They only asked him to bring a photo. They don't need the interview letter either. So Monday he will take a road trip to the city and hopefully get all three done .  He is so happy !!!  They day he goes to pick up the packet from the embassy, he can get the police cert done.     I told my boss I was taking a week off in July.... How many days does it sit at NVC before they DHL the package out to the embassy?  My file is so old and dusty. It probably weighs an extra 5 lbs.         Finally! I had called NVC on June 5th in order to get an update on my case. I was told I had case complete June 3rd. I called yesterday and spoke to Jim at NVC and he told me i didn't have CC yet. To call back in a couple of days. I called today and Arthur stated I have case complete since today. Has anybody ever experienced this?!?!? It happened to me... CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   HAPPY DANCE                   Last night my husband said "Honey, tomorrow is the day !"    and you said the 15th  and that is the day I wanted. it fits right into my travel plans...  I am flying down on the 11th and staying until the 20th.    I can't wait to see him.  AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH  I'm so excited.  I can't even think at work now.... and I have a meeting at 2pm...   DANG IT     When I called my husband I asked " What are you doing on July 15th?"  he laughed and asked if that is the day...  He said now  he can't work anymore today because he is so happy !!     He is actually really far up int he mountain where there is rarely a signal.
