HAPPY  MONDAY EVERYONE...   I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia and we are in the middle of a big snow storm.    I attemped to drive to work at 6:10 am but had to turn around. I was sliding through stops signs and I didn't even get out of my little town.   Wasn't worth an hour drive to work just to turn around and come home .    I HOPE TEXAS IS SUNNY AND CLEAR TODAY SO ALL USCIS EMPLOYEES MAKE IT TO WORK.     I have to share something funny my husband said last night.   He sneezed while we were talking and I  mentioned that my son, my cat and I have been sneezing all day.  He then said that means something good is going to happen.   He said he can feel it... our approval is coming this week.   So I agreed to be positive too.   SO this is supposed to be our week.... according to all the sneezing we were doing yesterday  !!   LOL LOL LOL LOL   ya gotta find humor somewhere.      Yet another birthday without the husband. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	sounds like a good idea....this would be really helpful for the people whose cases are on hold..... If we have a reasonable sample size, we could derive some sought of understanding, and analyze if USCIS has a specific pattern or procedure in handling such petitions........   As friendly usa, has suggested in the march thread we could combine the cases on hold from the feb, march and april sheets in a new sheet with an additional column where previous marriage & divorce or other circumstances could be entered by the concerned members.... I agree, it might shed some light on the reasons.   I have a funny feeling that it is totally random.. but it would be nice to know more.       and look what I found just now....looks like its a new way to stall n YET AGAIN..   Knowing FULL WELL that NBC won't answer service requests...  This is getting more sickening as the days pass.  I will be mentioning this to the senator's office tomorrow.   http://www.visajourn...eded/?p=6795110       Edited by LoveMyTico, 02 February 2014 - 10:58 AM. I can't imagine how you must be feeling, this process is so ridiculous t makes me want to punch someone in the throat lol.    Come on USCIS hurry up and approve these people that have been waiting for far too long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!           Thanks for the prayers.,  I can use everything you can offer I feel sick with digust every single day   Its very difficult to be positive when you feel so down     I was looking at flghts.. I do have enough miles for a free flight but not for one that is only 2 weeks out. So I asked my husband if I should book a flight for our Anniversary... he said to wait because hopefully we will hear something by then...  WELL.... I better hear something before March 9th.   I am going to miss his birthday ( AGAIN) and valentine's Day ( AGAIN) and most likely our 1st anniversary ( SIGH)    I'm so angry I could just punch someone .... all this lost time we can NEVER EVER get back. Thank you USCIS for catering to the ILLEGALS !!!     Next week I'm going to call the Senator's office and check on my inquiry  and then I'm going to call the OTHER Senator's office and make another inquiry and MAYBE I'll call the congressional office and bother them. Mine did..now i wonder if i need to call back to be sure they went to the right place.Honestly, it all seems pretty hopeless...The only thing they can do is hire more people to process the files. Did the NYT article get published yet?   NO, they ended in MSC  but I just figured it was because my case  numbers ended in that.. Now I know better.  What idiots !!  I'm so disgusted. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	OK,  here is my TIER 2 entertainment for tonight   Spoke to tier 2 for 30 minutes he was super nice told me my files were at the NBC at first.. I was like EXCUSE ME???  I was told they are at TSC and I have a transfer notice...  He says   OH HOLD ON  let me look at the notes.  OK, yea, you're right. Both at TSC...  The problem with the service requests is that they were sent to the NBC not TSC.  Possibly the reason you didn't get a response ( not sure I believe him)  so he apologized for that and said  " let me fix this "   so he sent them to TSC while I was on the phone.  So then I asked if he could give me anything good...  he said well, your background check is not checked off as complete. I won't ask you if you have any weird circumstnaces..... I said , .  THis is the second time I am petitioning and my divorce took forever in Costa Rica because I don't speak spanish and I was swindled by an attorney over there. I had to hire another attorney to finish it. He said that could be the reason.. ( more than likely)   but he said its not criminal... its just not checked off as complete  but someone is working on your file.      He thanked me for being patient with him.      . I told him the wait is ridiculous. He said people don't understand why there is a backlog.  I said   I KNOW WHY ! ! ! ! .. its because of the Daca and provisional waivers. They pushed the USC aside and processed the illegals.   Then he paused for a minute and then asked me.. DO YOU WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT?  I said no, I'm just well informed and I have nothing else to do while I wait for my papers but read.  And this is the second time I am filing.    He said he wasn't allowed to talk about it but I told him I could tell by his tone that he agrees with me.  He said YUP   So all in all, I had a nice conversation.  But I find it odd that some officers tell you they don't have access to that info.  Others throw out info like its nothing.    I don't know what to believe since everything has been a lie up til now.  I have a feeling they send them to the wrong service center on purpose.  And of course the rep at the senator's office was off today so I couldn't get anything from her.   So the tier 2 told me to call back next week. and he said they encourage people to email the service centers FOR SURE.   I told him they got an email from me everyday this week..  but now that I think about it... the service request numbers were directed to the NBC  ( if what he said was true)   possibly why  these idiots can't get back to me      So all in all, it seems service requests are useless.  They assign them to an officer so that officer can push a button and send out a letter that says your file is in process.....      All this wasted money for all these useless steps....  UGHHHHHHHHHHH   Oh he also said, " I don't know what forums your read, but some info is correct and other info is not complete"  He said he reads some of them.  that is when he said people have no idea why there is a backlog   He said he feels bad for all the callers. He wishes he could help everyone.  We even had a converstation about the reasons people give him for  more information...   I miss my spouse so bad, I'm running out of money  he said he hears them all.     So that was  my afternoon entertainment. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	LoneMyTico, I bet you slept better last night than you have for some time!!  I slept last night because I didn't really sleep the night I was approved.  Last night my husband's tone was great. He was so happy. What a difference a stupid approval makes. He told me he didn't sleep a wink after I told him we were approved.  Its funny...  I thoguht when we finally got approved that I would be calling him screaming .. But when I actually got the approval texts I was shaking  in disbelief and when I called him I could hardly speak. First he said "what?"  then he said "say it again"    he couldn't believe it either.   Last night when I talked to him, the first thing he wanted to hear is if it is really true..  He is so happy.  His family is excited for him too.  We know we still have a long way to go but at least this is something good after waiting so dang long.  I am praying for the K3.  So many negetive comments when I say I want to go that route...  but I don't care.  The minute I find out my case number I will track that thing all the way to CR and then I will call the embassy when it is delivered and I will ask them to email the packet. My husband is sitting on the edge of his seat to make the medical appt and get his police certificate translated. His mom gave him his immunization record and he has all the letters and cards I sent and package address labels all in a big envelope ready to go.   Its funny because my husband is the most low key, laid back guy . This approval made him so happy.  and that makes me happy ! I am sad that I am not going to see him on Saturday but the approval and interview are more important and unfortunately I don't own a money tree.    My kids are excited for me too !  It is such a relief.   A bummer that we have another wait.     How long did it take for your K3 to get to the Embassy and for them to contact you? THANKS DUDE !!!   This whole process has taken so long... My husband couldn't believe it when I called him.  He kept asking... is it really true???  so funny...  Needless to say, I didn't sleep very  much last night.. kinda wired and kinda pissed off that it took so long.  especially with the 5 month processing times posted yesterday... Its a good thing they approved me last night. I had a whole game plan for this morning.   Funny thing is... I received  3 reponses this morning to all the service requests and letters I sent in the last 2 weeks. all 3 say something different.. I had to call the automated line to make sure I was actually aprroved.  I don't trust anything they say. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	Its strange because right before I got the emails I was on the phone with my husband crying because we decided it is better to cancel my trip. His mom is really sick. She is having migraines and the doctors aren't sure what is wrong with her. It is better not to have house guests when she is feeling so bad. I would feel horrible because she would feel obligated to cook etc... so we were discussing a better time when she is better. I was so upset, he was so upset.  We hung up the phone... then 15 minutes later the emails came through.  Things happen for a reason I guess because now it makes more sense to wait and see if the K3 makes it down to the embassy.  God works in  mysterious ways !!! ( nothing new)  I decided to send my email to Rendell.jones@dhs.gov since I didn't send it to him the first 20 times. ( LOL)  I actually forwarded it which included the response from SCOPSSCATA   saying they are researching my case and will get back to me...I also added a blurb saying I am not a number. It has been 11 months and 6 days. How long does it take to research my case?  Please approve my I-129F so I may continue the rest of this process.... blah blah blah     It was actually read 5 minutes after I sent it by the Rendall Jones email...  Maybe there is hope today? Everyone had A# changed message they got approval (or decision) few hours after but you . Really sad with that I received the letter ( not email) from my Sanator today, enclosed the Privacy Release From to Authorize Senator to make any action or an inquiry on my behalf. They work really fast, I just emailed them on last friday. My Senator also said in the letter that he had asked a Constituent Service Representative in Atlanta Office to look into this matter for me. The bottom of this letter is noticed "Upon receipt of your privacy release, Mr. Spry will make an initial contact with the Nebraska Service Center on your behalf" Wish my case will moving forward in this week Yes, I was very hopeful but another let-down   Good Luck with the Senator's office. I have been working with mine Since September.  They only have a liaison to work with. And they still only give out vague info.  I asked what the A-number is today and I was told I am not allowed to know that... Really??? TSC has 5 months posted as processing time.  Tried to do an E Request  but it says I am within normal processing times.  So I call and I am told by tier 1 that I have 27 more days before I can put in a service request for that. What  a joke.... I can't stand it anymore... 27 more days puts my K3 at 6 months.. Not what they have on their website.  My I-130 is over 11 months.. Not what they have posted on their website.. But not one single person will do anything  !    What is the big friggin hold up????   I am currently on call back for tier 2.. 94 minues.. Really??????   Not that I expect to get an answers from tier 2 either.  I want to know why they changed my Alien Registration Number ( a number that doesn't even exist) and I haven't received an approval by now....  March 12th they changed it... here it is the 17th. Are they all Irish over there in Texas? Are they out for a long extended lunch to celebrate???    Can ya tell I have had it ?  I'm so sick with disgust !   Sorry about the ranting... I feel like I should have kept my mouth shut because now he is very hopefully that we will hear something today. I said  " oh really, my I-130 has been pending for 11 months and 1 day"  she says  " oh, really? let me get your case number for that"    " oh yea, it has been almost a year..."     well  DUHHHHHHH     waste of time.... Why I think is that once the adjudicator is done with the petition, they confirm it in the system, which sends the A number change message, and then a second verification of the adjudicato's checklist gets teh final approval by a second person.   just my guess, but I hope you get approvedd shortly!
