IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	I really don't have anything to add to that!! I amd two inquiries about my I-129F and I received 2 different email answers: 1) the first one said my case is assigned to an officer, and now it all depends on the work load of the officer bla bla bla..... 2) the second one received today 18-Feb-2014: the case is still pending consideration   two emails form Nebraska BS Center contradicting and negating each other.   SO fed up with this system!!!! I think assigning to an officer means they received it at the service center. How can they be assigned April through July?  Its just one more thing to say to the callers to shut them up. Now they are saying the files are  undergoing background checks that can't be expedited..  Well of course they can't... and if you read the blurb when you check your stats online, it says initial review is when they under go background checks... so what the hell have they been doing with my files for 10 months.     I'm sorry for ranting today. I'm so P!ssed off and stressed out.     Lawyer said K-3 is super slim to nothing chance of going through. He said to expect the I-130.    What a crock of Sh!t. Why the heLL did he even bother filing it then????  I am supposed to stop watching the clock and find something else to think about while I wait for my approval.    How nice is that??? At the 60-day mark after transfer (60 days from the receipt day in Nebraska). Transfer was 12-Dec, receipt in Nebraska was 18-Dec Where's the PUKE button????   I'm so tired of waiting and listening to the lies. I'm  not saying she is the liar. She is only relaying info from the USCIS. She did tell me most of her cases are taking 8 -12 months just for the approval. 18 months total for the whole process including NVC...  then add another 6-8 months for our waiver.     She is going to make another inquiry for me today. I have one in with my other senator from last week too.   I don't care if I'm stepping on feet. I want to get my approval so I can move on.        I also want to know why tier 1 read 2 letters supposidly sent to me on the 8th and I haven't received them. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	Just talked to my lawyer ( finally)   He pretty much said Tier 1 and Tier 2 are all full of #######. If they ever say your file is under-going additional security checks... its all lies.  If they ever say your file is with an adjudicator... its a bunch of #######.   He said lately they are telling people lies. ( which we already knew)   He said we don't have much of a chance for the K-3.and to just sit tight and stop watching the clock.   I told him the tier 1 read the letters I am supposed to be receiving ( sent on the 8th)   One said my file is with an adjudicator but under-going further security checks... He said as long as he has been a lawyer, he has NEVER EVER seen a letter stating the file is actually with an adjudicator..   If I ever receive those letters I will be forwarding it to him. If they were sent on the 8th, I should have received them already.   I thought that since tier 2  and the inquiry from the senator both said additional security checks that it might be the USCIS checking into my divorce . HE said  NO WAY, they don't send anything out to prove a divorce. That burden is on me and my divorce decree is proof of that. If they want to know something more they will ask for it.     He said our file was complete when he sent it out. We have done all we can do. We have to wait.     Money is tight. I was about to book a flight to see my husband on our first anniversary in March but when I realized I would be taking a week with no pay and paying $700 for a ticket, I nearly fell over.  Edited by LoveMyTico, 17 February 2014 - 05:31 PM. We will definitely go with the K3 if possible, not worried about the cost. Hopefully you'll get approved soon LoveMyTico. I'm checking your status daily. X NoelAnne, call everyday to get the case number. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	We just a notice that our approved 129f has been transferred to NVC. So I guess it will be closed there, NVC received our approved 130 on 11th Feb. Just waiting on case no. now. At least that's us done with USCIS!!  Thank God! lol  maybe not   they both go to the NVC to get case numbers.  The I-130s are taking a long time to get processed. The K3 only gets a case number and goes directly to the embassy.  Just like Green Metro and a few others... the file made it to the embassy before the NVC even touched the I-130   Maybe they are FINALLY realizing the K3 will take some of the workload off the NVC To me, the adjustment fee is well worth it if I can bypass the wait at he NVC     NOW if they would just finish my security check and approve my cases	LoveMyTico	Female	Costa Rica	2014-02-15 05:20:00
IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	Update: NVC has received my I130 case about a week after it was approved. Still sitting at NVC awaiting input. My K3 however is already at the embassy. My wife just got a letter today. Just wanted to share since I know some of you are wanting the K3 to fast track your way to your loved one. There is hope thanks for the update. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	Just talked to USCIS customer service..   This guy read the notices to me that were supposidly sent on Feb 8th.   They both say that my cases are being held up because of additional security checks   . The K-3 notice said my case is with an adjudicator but is waiting for additional security checks. That is all they are waiting on..   So my thoughts are.... since my previous marriage won't come up in any US FBI check because I wasn't married in the US. They have to contact the other country and get verification that I am divorced  blah blah blah. So I guess they are waiting for that info to come back. I could have provided the online registry information and they could have just checked that way.  UGHHHHHH   Even though my divorce papers were already in the file ( translated copy and original)      I guess there is no telling how long it will take to get that information back since Snail Mail takes forever and a day from Costa Rica.   My sister in Law sent me something snail mail and it took almost 2 months to get to me. I posted on this thread even yesterday (guess you missed my post), and will continue to keep posting here every single day, until I hear, you, love my tico, dv man and others on this thread have got approved....   We all started this journey together 10 months back, and I sincerely wish and pray that not one person in this thread should be left out.... The April thread should come to an end, the way it started...... USCIS please show us some mercy!!! AGREED !!!    We are all in this together.     I saw a thread about a K-3 approved and visa in hand  8 days after interview. I -130 was approved also. Beneficiary is from the Philippines. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	I got the same notice as you for my K3 (same day). I then received an email (on Feb 12) that my I129F had been approved. As far as I know they both went from NBC to TSC. My I-130 was approved and sent to NVC (it was approved on the 29th of Jan but only just sent to NVC).   I just assumed they were clipped together.....but it seems doubtful.   That turned out to be just a touch. There wasn't anything spectacular happening. Tier 2 told me it was because they sent out a notice responding to my status request.    They are both at TSC, transferred on November 27th.  They can go right ahead and approve my K-3.  That is what I want but I know that is only a dream. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	SNOWING AGAIN YEP, its snowing like crazy in Philly.  My job was called us last night to notify us of the closing.  Thank God because I drive almost an hour to work.   Today is my husbands birthday.  I'm so sad I can't be there.  Or that he can't be here...  GRR   I hope my approval comes soon because this is so depressing.    The NVC is a long process too but at least there would be movement on my case.       Was looking in to flying to CR  the first week of March for our anniversary  but DANG.. the tickets are so expensive.  And it wouldn't be so bad except I don't have any vacation time left .   I would really be taking a hit with a week of NO PAY. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	So here it is   Today is 10 months since our NOA1   I was told 6 months when I first sat down and completed the package with my lawyer.    There is a HUGE Snow storm coming tonight into the Philadelphia area.. I'll be at home tomorrow for sure. My husband's birthday is Thursday and V-day is Friday. That would be a wonderful gift for him.  It'll be 10 months tomorrow for us.     Every morning I say a little prayer asking for something good to happen today.    I guess my little something is breathing..  I feel so horrible that we are still waiting ( all of us on this thread) and later filers are getting approved  only 11 days after their transfer.    So they shut me up by telling me that my file is undergoing background checks and it cannot be expedited in any way.    So I guess 10 months of sitting in a box wasn't enough time for them to do all this? Icey nasty roads in the Dallas area....  How cool for all of us waiting so long to TSC to issue an approval. They probably have a snow day today!  Also, I read a post on the spreadsheet thread about a July filer who got transferred to TSC on Jan 30th and just got approved yesterday.   ####### is that?    The post read " I can't believe I got approved in only 11 days"   I almost threw up   What the hell is going on ???   I guess the USCIS was instructed to process the recent transfers to fix their numbers.   It just gets better and better everyday !!      Sorry, but I can't be positive about this. We got a notice from USCIS today saying our I129f has been transferred and now being processed at a USCIS office! So it looks like it's still in play, even though our 130 has been approved! This will be interesting. Will they give us the option of going the K3 route?? Lately, some K-3s are making to the embassy because it is taking so long to log in the I-130s. ( a phone call to them on January 31st)  So its probably one of those letters saying my case is still in process. Wait 180 days !   What a waste of time. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	I have an infopass appointment in an hour abt my case. I am sick of the false info given by USCIS employees. My case according to the senator's office was assigned to an officer the first week of January. Why am I still waiting when May, June, July are already getting approved. How different could my case be with regards to the May, June, July filers? If it's background check holding my case - I wonder why it would take them this long when I have a secret security clearance.   From the NY Times article: "After Speaker John A. Boehner of Ohio said on Thursday that the House was not likely to act on an immigration overhaul this year, immigrant advocates are turning up their pressure on Mr. Obama to expand the deferral program to include many more of the 11.7 million immigrants in the country illegally."   I seriously hope Obama does not give into this immigrant advocates push to expand the program. Illegals should have to go back home and get in here like every other person who is doing it legally. This nonsense has affected me and my spouse and I am not in support of it. I agree with you !!  Please post after your appt.  I am so interested to hear what they have to say. I suspect all the later approvals are due to the USCIS just trying to even out the numbers so they can post 5 months again. That doesn't help us though.  I am furious about this whole process.   I would love to go on an info pass appt but when I go to try and schedule one in Philly, it doesn't give me any options. Last time I checked it was not taking appts for case status.   I have to wait to hear from my lawyer. Maybe I can get him to do it. But go for it !!  Let us know. The USCIS has covered their Butts by saying our files are stuck in background checks and actually I was told that CANNOT be expedited.  That won't make me stop inquiring but it gave them something to fall back on.     I don't  know why there are some of us still left. Only that they have decided to start approving July and August to make themselves look good to the public.  Maybe all the attention is causing them to manipulate the numbers  even more instead of just getting the backlog taken care of in ORDER.    If my lawyer EVER calls me back, I will mention the spreadsheets but I know the answer is always...." They are approving July filer's for goodness sake! just saw a post of a guy who got an RFE... july filer...  only knew his wife a week before he married her... the RFEis for more proof of a real relationship.     i have been with my hsuband for 4 years... I have oodles of proof of a TRUE relationship.. 5 flights  in 2013 & 4 flights in 2012  to visit him.. phone records, gifts sent, pictures of us together here and over there, and so much more... and I get stuck in a background check... IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	Thank you all guys.............   Just got this status update on USCIS website.....   Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity On February 7, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State.  For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.   Congrats !!   what service center? I was approved today from Nebraska Prority Date 4/29/13 Transfered: 12/4/13 Approved: 2/7/14 CONGRATS! im April filer and i got first receipt on April 2013 too  on January 23 2014 my case had been transferred to my uscis local field office, then i didnt get a notice yet  please tell me what should i do , ??? please advice me , i so need that  thank u  call the customer service number and ask where your file is.
