Well lovetico, I realy admire your faith and hope about getting approve this holiday,i wish I could share the same faith with you,am a April 4 pd and was transfered to NSC on 15 of November and we re asked to wait until 60days, which me and my wife have place our hope on,its realy hard for us lovemetico,we knew immigration process was going to take a longtime, but not this long for only to get NOA2, one love

Thanks... I agree with you. We knew the process was long but I never thought it would take this long just for the NOA2 approval.   When I checked the processing times right before we were married in March, they were somewhere around 5-6 months.  I am so sad without my husband this year.  This is our 3rd Christmas being apart.   I don't have any more vacation time so I have to wait until his interview to visit again.  And at this point... Who friggin knows when the heck that will be.

I really was hoping for something before Christmas. I tried to stay positive. I would love to take a walk through the TSC and see what exactly they do all day.

Saw an address change notice today on the March Thread. So I guess there are some people working today.  I sure wish Texas was kicking out something today....  I am starting to lose hope.    The holidays make it so much more difficult.

COME ON TEXAS...     ~*~*~**~*~*~* CHRISTMAS MIRACLE DUST ~*~**~*~**~**~

please make our Christmas Holiday magic.

The only official federal holiday they're all getting off is Christmas, so there should be at least a skeleton staff for the other 4 days this week.

That's what I thought, I just wanted to hear someone else say it.  Let's hope for some action today then.....

PLEASE USCIS, let my file be one of the files you pick up and approve today.    PLEASE PLEASE

Does anyone know if the USCIS is opened today?    I have to work, so why shouldn't they?  They have more work to do than me , that's for sure.

Same thing for me.  transferred on 11-18 to TSC and a RFE on 12-18.  I have 2 of the I-130's and a I-129f.  So far just the one notice of an RFE on the stepsons petition.  Anyone else have multiple petitions with an RFE on only one?

While I agree.... RFE's SUCK    I am thankful to see  movement from TSC.  and on a Saturday.

I really thought something good was going to happen this week.   Now, I am hoping somebody will be working on Monday.   I am sure the USCIS is open because Tuesday and Wednesday are the "Official" days off.   Maybe there are a few employees who already used up their PTO and are coming in just to provide coverage.  The Embassy in Costa Rica is open on Monday, Thursday and Friday...  so why can't they?

So with a March approval (MAR 22) from texas, I guess that's where us Texas folks stand on processing. sad.png

I think the transfers messed all that up... it depends on the transfer date. I doubt very much someone took the time to file them all by receipt date.

The vision in my head  is that they are all in boxes by transfer date. Shirley Adjudicator walks into a huge file/storage room and grabs whatever box is closest because her ankles are swollen and she is due for a coffee break in 5 minutes.    Then the holiday party, then Lunch, then BSing with the co-workers... Then a mandatory meeting for everyone and then another 15 minute break and then  MAYBE, JUST MAYBE she will adjudicate 3 or 4 files before she goes home at 4 on the nose. Not one minute after.    Add in several  bathroom breaks... and conversations here and there by passerbys....

We're all screwed.

And when they come back from Holiday vacation... the countless conversations about what they got for Christmas ...

I have had that sign on problem also.  But no messages like your Dec 3rd and 4th.  I hope it means something is coming soon for you.  I don't want to get your hopes up too much but I think maybe your files are in the pile on someone's desk right now.  I hope so

I won't believe it until I see it !

Moving on up... to the East side  .... to a deluxe apartment in the sky ( someone's desk)     If y'all are as old as I am, you would be singing along as you read that...LOL   If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm not crazy. its just before your time..  LOL

I sure hope I'm on someone's desk.  It was cold on the floor and mighty dusty.

I guess the day is almost over...  The USCIS probably let them all go home at noon and they all probably took PTO on Monday.  (BIG SIGH)

I am sure USCIS employees are union....which would explain alot. I'm sure they have mandated smoke and coffee breaks as part of their contracts. It would be interesting to know how much time they spend in their seats vs. walking the halls drinking coffee.

yep, A union and  goernment employee.  That is some serious job security.

So, I decided to check my status on the USCIS wedsite last night.  I was not able to log in. Apparently my password was reset by someone. Its only been a couple weeks since I logged in.  So this morning I changed my password AGAIN and checked my status.  It used to have NOV 27th as the last touch but when I looked this morning, it said Dec 3rd for my I-130 and Dec 2nd for my K-3.  I'm not getting too excited because it was probably just someone scanning us in at the TSC since we were transferred on Nov 27th.   I just thought it was weird that I couldn't log in. This happens to me alot.   Does anyone else have this problem and how often have you had to change your password? if at all?

Good Luck to the filers who are still not APPROVED.     THANKS USCIS for making our Christmas a happy one !!

So now we have an RFE for one of our I-130's showing up online.  It is for my Stepson's application.  Nothing showing yet for the Wife's I-130 or the I-129f.  But maybe those will change later.   The petitions were  transferred to TSC on 11-18 the PD date is 4-22.  I think I have read on this thread that it takes 7-10 days to get the hard copy with the information on what they want?  Anyone have a feel for this? I think I know the answers just sometimes a person needs to talk about this.  So I hope don't upset anyone asking question that have been answered.

You just raised my eyebrows...  you mean there is life in Texas?  I was feeling pretty shitty until I read this post

RFE's suck  but at least you know someone touched your file and when you send back what they want, your approval is right around the corner.

what is a address change mean??????

i never applied for me,

anyone ??

hold tight, this could be your time..... are you at the TSC?

  • Forms ? All immigration forms are free and can be downloaded from www.uscis.gov. You may also call our National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at 1-800-375-5283 and request that a form be mailed to you.
  • Case Status ? For the status of a case filed with a USCIS Service Center, go to www.uscis.gov and select ?Check My Case Status? under ?Customer Tools? on the right side of the home page. Using your Service Center receipt number, enter three letters followed by 10 numbers (no spaces or dashes).
  • Renew or Replace a Permanent Resident Card ? The form you need is Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card. Go to www.uscis.gov and select ?Forms? in the top left corner, then scroll down to I-90.
  • Employment Authorization ? To apply or renew employment authorization, you need Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization. Go to www.uscis.gov and select ?Forms? in the top left corner, then scroll down to I-765.

For general information, save yourself a trip ? call the NCSC at 1-800-375-5283 from the comfort of your home to see if we can answer your questions first!

yea, so after speaking to tier 1.... I was told my service requests have not been assigned to an officer yet   due to a backlog of service requests... and of course I couldn't help myself... I had to say " BECAUSE THEY AREN"T PROCESSING THE CASES IN A TIMELY MANNER"

So basically a service request is BS.   Well this just sucks.

On a call back for tier 2... wait time is only 39 minutes today...  Ususally its 90 minutes or more....  hmmmm???

Looks like I'm batting 1000 today.   GRRRRRRRR

So i guess Monday will come and there will be no response to our service requests....At that point I am not sure if I will call USCIS back or call my congressman's office again...my stupid lawyer tried to tell me that USCIS said that the congressional inquiries "slow down the process." BS! Its called being accountable. I'm supposed to have a response by tomorrow for my k3. Not holding my breath.

So I'm sitting here at working thinking I should have heard something from the Sentor's office...  Decided to call and ask..

Well of course she is not in the office today...  So I guess I sit and wait.  maybe a call to the Unfriendly line is in order now..  I hate call them

I seriously have totally had it with this whole process.

The same amount of time? Why is that?

we have to file a waiver after our interview.  I was ok with that at first because the processing times are posted at 4 months  but apparently those processing times are for the I-601a waivers for the illegals.  The I-601 waiver for the spouse who resides outside of the US is processed at NSC   Who happens to be only processing July 2013.  That is why I pray for the K-3 so I can bypass the entire NVC process and just get to the embassy, have our interview and send off the waiver.  It will be the same outcome even if we go with the I-130.  We don't care about spending another $1000. to adjust once hes here.  We don't care that he won't have a greencard immediately.  So much time has been wasted

Guys I want to write an email to my senator, what info should I include like my case number priority number transfer date???

don't send a letter. You will save yourself alot of time if you just call and tell them you want them to do an inquiry.  Then they will send you a release form to sign and send back. They can email it and you can scan it and send it back.  They can't do anything for you until they get that first.  Then they send an email to the service center.   Then you wait for a reply.  I've gottne replies as soon as 2 days and then others took a week.  That's why I say to just call.  They take these calls all day long

Get involved. Write letters to the news. Get involved in the other thread we have on activism, chair a committee on something. There's no use sitting in a room without light, cursing the dark when you could get up and light a candle.

I already  have done some of those things.I sent letters to my local channel in Philly and I sent out all the letters created here.  My husband and I don't like the idea of posting my face on you tube complaining about the people who are supposed to approve our petition.  He is not one to stir the pot.

I think I have just "had it" with all of this. It is really emotionally draining.   can you tell I'm having a bad day?  LOL

Ugh sad.png Every time I see you post I'm hoping it's time to celebrate. I'm so sorry they're putting you through this. You've got the whole I-130 community rooting for you, there must be hundreds of fingers and toes crossed for you by this point!

Thanks, I really appreciate the cheerleaders. I really do !   This is so hard to watch the days go by.  I thought about calling today but it just makes me upset. The person who takes the call is usually an idiot who thinks they are talking to an idiot.   I asked the Sentor's office to inquire again this past Tuesday . I have 2 service requests in and one of them expires on Saturday. I have also been emailing the TSC every morning this week. The same email, just a different day.  I don't know what else to do.    My husband and I talk about how fast the time has gone by since we got married but it seems soooo slow at the same time because we are waiting on these papers to get approved.   I hate to rush time because I'm no spring chicken. You're supposed to be thankful for every day that you get to wake up. I am thankful  but it would be sweeter if I could wake up next to my husband.   Everything is on hold.  Sometimes I think this is some cruel joke.   I couldn't even watch the president the other night. I am so angry that he passed all that ####### that gives priority to illegals.

I have enough miles for a free flight but I was trying to save that for when we have our interview .... I don't know if I can wait that long.  My husbands birthday is coming and so is Valentine's day.  Then our anniversary less than a month later.  I am missing all these things with him.  I just want to cry

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsApril 2013 I-130 Filers

hello my wife sent an email to NSC

I am writing in regards to my case that is still in initial review. It has been almost a year and I want to know what is going on with my case. I am not happy that I have not received any notification and I am not contacted with news about anything. It has been almost one year and I can not be with my husband, I am here by myself and he is in pakistan. I must have knee surgery and I need my husband with me. I will not be able to work, and I need someone to take care of me while I am recovering.

I know that more information on my case will be required, as I did not send in my financial support documents. I make well over the required ammount and he will not become a burden on this country. We just want to live like a normal husband and wife, together.

I am extremely fustrated at the length of time this is taking. When I cal I am not told anything, just the usual things that I can see on the web site. If this is going to take any longer, I am going to start calling the media and making as much of a fuss about this as I can

Well, generally, you won't hear anything from the USCIS unless they need something or you are approved. They don't hand out updates. You have to call and bypass the first operator and talk to the tier 2 person. And even they aren't very helpful. Most are in a bad mood and don't offer anything.

You don't have to send financial info until you are approved and are sent to the NVC.

We all want to live a normal life. This system is broken.   We are all forced to wait.

Approval from NSC today.

Here is the data:

Filed from Japan on April 7 2013

Priority Date April 15 2013

Transfer to NSC Jan 6 2014

Approved I-130 Jan 28 2014

Some additional data:

In December I sent a notice informing USCIS of a change of address from Japan to Canada, as well as a change in my wife's last name.

I received confirmation of that move on December 27, 2013.

I received confirmation of the change of my wife's last name on Jan 27, 2014. (One day prior to I-130 approval.)

Looking at some of the spreadsheets, we were transferred to the NSC significantly later than most of the April filers. (Most were transferred in November or early December, while we were not transferred until January.) I am not sure why we were an outlier.

CONGRATS  ! ! ! !

I wish TSC would get on the band wagon and start moving these files

I would love to know what criteria Senator's office will use for the expedite...I was told that extended wait cannot be used for expedite sad.png

she told me that she can expedite due to them giving a specific timeframe. She said she has done it before. We'll see.   Just because she tries to expedite doesn't mean USCIS will.  Its all a roll of the dice.  I'm tired of rolling and getting nothing

My service request for my K3 is due Saturday and the one for my CR1 is dues Feb 8. Still I have heard nothing....It sure would be nice to have something to celebrate with my wife on valentines day when I meet her in Prague! Just a few weeks smile.png

my service request is due Saturday too

I contacted my Senators office today and she put in another inquiry. She said if they don't come back with  " within one week" she will put in an expedite.  She said Texas takes a few days to respond.  Also, today was the second day I sent an email to TSC.  My 60 days is at 62 days today.   Senators office will also mention we want the K3.

I guess we'll see.  I'm about to book a flight because I miss my husband so much.   If I don't get an approval by next week, I'll take a 4 day trip to see his face. I can't take it anymore

hello guys my wife sent an email to Nebraska and they answerd after 20 days just see and feel sad.png

ATTENTION:  The Nebraska Service Center (NSC) has a new email address for public inquiries.  The new email address is NSCFollowup.NCSC@uscis.dhs.gov.  Please use the new email address when submitting your inquiry and/or replying to a response from NSC.  Thank you.

Good Afternoon:

Thank you for contacting the Nebraska Service Center National Customer Service Follow Up e-mail account (NSC NCSC).  Please except our apology for the delay in responding to your e-mail below.

USCIS records show your constituent?s I-130 petition was transferred from the Missouri Service Center (NBC) on December 3, 2013. The Nebraska Service Center received the petition on December 4, 2013. Processing of I-130 petitions at Nebraska is approximately five months from the date we receive the petition. The constituent?s petition is currently with an officer to be reviewed. They should receive a decision or notice of other action once their case is adjudicated.

If they have not heard anything within two months, please inquire again and we will search to see why their I-130 petition has not been completed. I hope that this information will be of assistance to you. At this time I am closing your inquiry on this matter.

Regards

USCIS Nebraska Service Center

what a bunch of HORSE HOCKEY.    Just something to keep you pacified for a minute or two.

5 minutes ago  I asked my senator's office to make another inquiry for both of my cases since the service request is up on Feb 1st ( saturday)   This time she was really nice.  She told me she hears time and time again about how nasty the customer service people are to the callers.  She said its pretty sad.  Its an ongoing problem at the USCIS  ( ya think?)   She said Texas may take a day or two to get her an answer.. So here I wait AGAIN !!!!  GRRRRRRRRR

Don't get upset about the 180 day ####### they hand out.  The tier 2 officer who put in my service request told me they have to say something general. Its not for everybody and they know that.   The new filers get the same #######  ...... So don't worry about that.

Also,I get the feeling they are not responding to the 60 day notice we got when our files were transferred.

I would say to just call... act so confused.  Tell them you go this 60 day notice but now you are being told 180 days. Which is it?   And tell them you were told your file was assigned to an officer.. so how could it take 180 more days?     They will transfer you to tier 2... Then ask them what the hell is going on with your file.   That is how I got my service request for my I-130 on the 17th.    I'm not stupid. I know whats going on, but they don't need to know that.   My file was assigned to someone on Dec 30th but that officer must be on long term disability or something.. LOL

Hopefully we all will be approved soon !
