I hope it's something stupid. It says for "initial" evidence, not additional.  I turned in everything asked for initially.  Probably the spouses birth certificate or something they did not originally require.

Fingers Crossed!

OK Steve, you did break our pact though. We were supposed to get approved at the same time... LOL

I am so very happpy for you.. You actually heard something today  and we were just talking about it  !!   What luck...

I can certainly see that with the airlines.  That's a good idea.  I will search and buy on different computers in the future. Thanks for the info! ;-)

Anymore movement in March or April yet today?

I haven't been watching March today.   You know how sometimes the approvals come through at night. Almost like they are put in a Queue to be delivered after hours....   MAYBE something will come tonight. There is still tomorrow. I'm guessing whoever took off before Christmas over there has to work the skeleton crew this week.

TSC is an hour behind me.

The official holiday is the 1st.  Who knows if they are closed tomorrow.  I would love them to pick up my file and approve it today...   ha ha   wouldn't we all?

I must say that I really feel for all who are without their loved ones with them during this holiday season.  I am lucky in that my wife is here with me until the 12th of January.  She made it in on 13 December POE Seattle, with no problems whatsoever.  But it is getting very expensive flying one way or another along with using all of our valuable vacation time to see each other.  I visit her in April again for her birthday.

Yup, IT SUX.

I have to save money and vacation time  for his interview. I was thinking to go vist again at the end of Feb or  beginning of March anyway. If we get approved soon, that will give time for the NVC. Glad I didn't buy a ticket yet.

By the way, I saw a news report about buying airline tickets.  The airlines ask for your personal info before you search because they are monitoring your activity.  Ever look for flights one minute and go back 20 minutes later and it is $30 more? its because they are monitoring your searches.  The news person said to search on one computer and buy the ticket on another.   Flights do get really expensive.

Yeh, I guess I will shoot off another email to ask the specific questions.  The last touch of mine was 3 DEC.  Is that what yours says when logging in ti the USCIS acct site?  Maybe that's what they conside assigned. lol   Also I just called to hear the good old recording, which stated I'm going through the standard processing, blah...blah, blah...  and of course the blurb at the end that says please don't request further information until 180 days after the transfer.  ugh!!!

Mine says Dec 2nd for the K-3 and Dec 3rd for the I-130.  I think those are the dates that TSC received them. They did something with my case the day before it was transferred, but nothing since the transfer until today.  Who knows how long its been on someone's desk.

I hope we all get approved before the next Holiday on January 20th  LOL

I don't even call that recorded ####### anymore. it depresses me.

I'm still waiting to hear from my congresswomens rep.  So no clue if I have been assigned or not.  Looking at Igors list, seems they skipped us along with the 17th somewhere.  so our particular adjudicator probably took vacation for the holidays! To spend some nice relaxing time with their loved ones.  Isn't that sweet  (or ironic)? lol

I specifically asked if our case was assigned.  Its almost like if you don't ask specific questions, you get the generic form letter.  I'm so happy I didn't get the " processing times are 6 months from the date of this notice"  I think I would have just died

I wonder how long its been assigned?  Recently or a month ago?  Give me an inch, I want the whole YARD.  I wanna know every detail.

I just told my husband and he still thinks he'll be here in 5 years.  LOL

Prayers and wishes with you Tico's lady!  And to myself.....I have the same NOA1, Tranfer date, and place of transfer as you.....My congresswomans representative name is even the same (Rachael). lol  That's gotta be a good omen!!!

Thanks !!

I hope we get approved the same day ! That would be cool

I was all happy .  then the doubt popped in my head...

How many files do you think each person gets assigned?  Do they assign a batch of files to each person , like a batch of 200? or do they assign a box of 50 at a time to each person?    I could be the last file at the bottom of the batch or I could be the next in line....

You'd think I could just be happy with knowing we are assigned to an agent....  I have to analyze every detail....

Nope, That was Lucybelle on the March Thread. She is married to a  Tico too !!    Same Costa Rican flag on our profiles...

YAY ! I just received a response from the Senators office JUST NOW. I sent her a message last night when I was feeling so sad and depressed.

Jennifer,

I did get an update on your pending I-130.  It was transferred to the Texas Service Center.  The TSC provided the following update to our office:

This I130 has been assigned to an officer.  A decision or some type of action will be made within the next 30 business days.

Thank you,

Rachel

CONGRATS ! !

What day were you transferred to Texas so the rest of us can get an idea of what dates they are processing?

We were transferred to Texas on the 27th of NOV.  I would love to see an approval today ! LOL   Wishful thinking

I really don't get the mindset that people have who break our laws and think they should be treated better than US citizens when it comes to immigration. They don't live in the shadows. I see them everywhere I go, at the mall, eating out, driving nice cars, even using foodstamps that I pay for with my hard earned tax dollars. They are here with their families, yet we all have to be apart for such a long time, especially since USCIS and the left pushed the DACA applications to the front of the line so they will get votes in the next election cycle. Its disgusting!

ps....if you break our laws, you are ILLEGAL, not undocumented. Don't get mad at people who call it what it is. They didn't break the law! I'm getting so sick of the political correctness gone crazy! ranting33va.gif

Yep,  They come here illegally and expect the same rights and benefits as the people who belong here or followed the LEGAL path to be able to stay.   They are here with their families and in some cases, had more children while here.... and try to use that as a reason or excuse to be able to stay here.  But the people who filed the correct way and are separated from their spouse ( and some are pregnant) have to wait ridiculously long time periods .

On that note....  good vibes for those of us who are still waiting. luv.gif eb0dfafc.gif star_smile.gif star_smile.gif star_smile.gif tongue.png   I sure hope somebody is working at the USCIS today.  I have to go  to work today so I'll be watching VJ all day ( as usual)  LOL LOL

Not far off with the running through wooded forests lol but the mounties don't care (unless someone is sneaking into Canada). I live near both borders. My Canada home is right near the US border and my US home is in San Diego so not far from the Mexico border and holy ####### are they different!! Canada and US is the largest unmanned border in the world so if ppl are coming here to sneak over I wouldn't be surprised. There are literally streets and streets of "hey I'm in Canada *hops* hey I'm in the US" I'm still baffled by the US/Mexico border.

that's nut about hopping from one street to the next....

I think the problem is, the illegals have to FLY to Canada and I think they need a visa to enter.  So I guess that is why Mexico is their first choice.  Why spend the money on a passport and visa when you can just run through the fields for a few days to the land of opportunity where you can have everything you want by breaking the law?     rofl.gif

LoveMyTicoFemaleCosta Rica2013-12-29 22:50:00
IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsApril 2013 I-130 Filers

The problem is that this is all political. Unfortunately, as USCs, our stories don't make good fodder for political ads and positioning. I recently heard an interview on NPR with a guy from Mexico who was complaining that the U.S. government forces them to cross the border illegally because it doesn't issue visas to everyone who applies. I was stunned. Since when does the world have rights to enter and live here?

Immigration is a joke here, and I'm offended when my elected officials give me bs lines about protecting the country's security. The issue of overstays is something else, though. People are shocked when I tell them about visa overstays and how they live here. Do you know how many people bought tickets and came here to stay as soon as they heard talk of amnesty? Don't get me started on that. These fools have no intentions of doing anything more than padding the ballot box.

You're right about letting people go. I personally know four different people who are here without documentation and have been pulled over by the police for traffic violations. They were all allowed to leave without penalty, and one of them already had a deportation order issued. That's an admittedly small sample, but I don't think they are exceptions to the rule because I've heard plenty of similar stories from co-workers. This is why it infuriates me when I hear people talking about how they're all living in fear. The whole thing is a crock.

Force them to cross illegally?  really?  nobody is forcing them to come here.  Not my problem that they were born in a different contry.  If you can't get here legally, then don't come. We have laws.  Don't come here and expect us to accomidate YOU... UGHHH.. and I heard some news story about some illegal complaining to Obama that they are being deported unnecessarily.. Um really???  the nerve of an illegal to stand up to our president like he has a right to demand something after he broken our immigration laws.....    its sickening.   and I can't get my husband here the legal way in  a decent amount of time.  8.5 months and counting.. meanwhile the illegals get to sleep next to their loved one, go on vacation together and get on with their lives... .

The border (especially once Canada is taken into consideration) is waaaaaaaaaay to long to totally seal off at any reasonable price. Instead more technology should be invested in drones and other monitoring equipment, while ICE and US Border Patrol nees to be given the authority to track and prosecute illegal immigrant traffickers inside of the US, and to deport those being trafficked. Biological verification needs to be mandated for employment in the US, and biological data needs to be taken from every illegal immigrant and every visa fraudster and used to give them life-long, permanent bans on living or working legally in the USA.

yea, they need to come up with some way to track the visitors that come here too.  Right now, nothing is being done to round up the overstays.  And they all live the life of a permanent resident.  They all work, and drive etc...  if I walk out the door and forget my drivers license,  you know that is the day I would get pulled over and ticketed ( because I am a USC)  Why aren't the police allowed to ask for Greencards or documentation when they pull people over? I am not offended when they ask for my ID.

BS with the VIOLATION of their rights..... If I get stopped while driving in Costa Rica ( and I have) I better have the correct documentation or Im in trouble.  They asked me for my passport when I was stopped.  They flashed their light on it several times to make sure it was real. I also had to prove the car I was driving was a rental and it was in my name.  Since I was all legit, I had no problem giving what they asked for.   Here in the US, they let the illegals go.  ( and I can back up that statement)

I also heard the new trend is to come through Canada instead of Mexico...  I wonder how the heck they do that... aren't there borders control officers and corrals like Mexico?

Do they have to run through the wooded forests and dodge the Canadian Mounties???LOL LLOL LOL LOL LOL Dudley Do-Right  hahahahahaha

I thought I'd chime in here. It does make me feel better to know others are in the same situation I'm in. I'm still waiting after my file was transferred November 15.

I've written to EVERYONE I can think of within the government, and all I get in response is a form letter saying, "I am committed to securing our borders." What??? It's bad enough that we're all stuck waiting, but those responses are even more insulting. This process is frustrating, expensive, and emotionally draining. I just wish someone would listen to what it does to families. (BTW, the president's office did tell me that his number one concern was keeping families together and protecting the sanctity of marriage...after that, it's all about securing the border. That was super helpful and just made everything soooooo much better.)

if they are so committed to securing the border, then deport all the illegals, hire more border control agents  and start processing the petitions who are following the law....

securing the border???  yea right

LoveMyTicoFemaleCosta Rica2013-12-29 20:25:00
IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsApril 2013 I-130 Filers

My solution to this whole process..... if they dont want to hire new people then USCIS should not accept any new applications for ..... lets say 2 months. During these two months they should work on clearing on the back log. After that they should reopen to accepting new applications. I am sure USCIS can survive not making "new money" for 2 months.

its not like they would be losing business. They are the only agency that can do what they do.   Actually, I think that is what they did to us.... they accepted our petitions ( or fee..LOL) and they stockpiled us over at the NBC while they processed the DACA and I-130s with provision waivers attached.     So, I think we are their answer to "not accepting new applications"

LoveMyTicoFemaleCosta Rica2013-12-29 20:21:00

The worst part is that they think that they can tell or update anything on their website and people wouldnt know anything. They think of us as fools. I guess they dont know that there are forums where people know and share information. They think that we are only looking at their processing times via their website and so they can tell whatever and we have no other way but to believe. I am thinking next month when they update it will be changed to Feb 14 coz technically they are busy so much approving July, August, November and perhaps December applications that they cant get around working on March and April applications.

They play with the numbers. If they approve May, June and July and leave some February files in the system, the average will look better.   God forbid you mention to tier 2 that you know of April and later files that were approved.  They will insist that they are working on Feb 13th.  They think we're stupid.   There are some people who don't check on their papers and just accept the wait.  I can't imagine sitting around just wondering...

Yeah I'm sure they r happy with that.

My hubby was told from lawyer that, we should hear something in a month or two months.

But I have a question, if this process going to pass a year? Is it become invalid?
My hubby says, if become invalid, come to the states with sightseeing visa and change status? Wait them in the states.

I don't really understand it. But something like that.
Is it possible to do?

no, it can't become invalid because they haven't approved you yet.  Once you get that approval, they'll hold on to your petition for a year.

I don't know about the adjustment of status part..

Honestly speaking I dont know who is faster than who. They said CSC was faster but I havent herd anything or approval I mean in the last 2 weeks I guess from that service center. I dont know if they are working or some sort of strike..... ??!!!???!!! Alot of people sent out emails and mails/faxes to their local representatives but guess what they are all on vacation till after New Year ...... Good to know they are spending time with their family

I just sent my Senators office another request for an inquiry.  In the last inquiry answer it said my file was transferred to TSC and I need to contact them directly for further information...  SO... I asked the Senators office to provide a direct nmber or email address OR do another inquiry for me. I specifically asked them to find out if my case has been assigned to someone !

So, we'll see who is working tomorrow..

I'm so sick about this.

There has to some explanation why in the hell people from May, June and even November are getting approved when people from March and April are still waiting. Sometimes I think I should file another form for premium processing but considering I have to I-130 cases, it would cost me another about $2500 ($1225 per case). Thats alot considering what I have paid so far and what I will be paying to NVC. It's business ..... business to make money without providing proper service. In business world whenever there is an exchange of money the buyer can always hold the seller responsible ................ what the hell is happening here. If the work load is too much then hire more people. Its not my problem who is working and how they are working as long as the work is being done right. We are being screwed both ways !!!!!!!!!!

I agree.... if they told me in the beginning that I could pay an extra $2500 to be processed immediately.... I would have paid right then and there.   To me, thats business.  What they are doing to us right now is torture.

They knew the backlog was coming. Its poor planning and the lack of caring individuals.  Why didn't they even out the processing of the K-1's and the I-130's from the get-go?

They knew this was happening but chose to keep sending new filers to the NBC. I also think they knew from the beginning that the NBC would not be processing anything.

I can't even read the other threads anymore. It makes me so furious.

I almost called my mom and asked if I could borrow $1200.00 so I could fly to CR  yesterday to be with my husband on New Years... but then reality hit me and I remembered that I have to buy a flight for his interview ( whenever that may be)   Im so sick over this.

Texas Service Center is hell! I'm trying not to be filled with hate for them, but obviously they dont give a damn. What a bunch of slackers...lazy federal union workers. And its more infuriating that they are not working in any kind of chronological order at all. When I got the transfer notice, I was filled with hope. But it seems that maybe we would be better off still at NBC. I'm so discouraged...

I share the same hate. Its so sad that it is the holiday season and we have this hate in our lives.    I so hope that someone goes to work at the TSC tomorrow and decides to do some work.

I think your very close.  Your transfer is just less than 10 days after our transfer to TSC.  Its almost that long for us since the RFE so yes any time now. Add a few days for turkey day and xmas.

Have you read anything about how long the NVC is taking now?  I keep thinking its 4-5 months for this final step.  but I also think they are delayed with the back up too.  Just asking what you think since I know you look every where.

Thanks for the positive words. I'll take all I can get.  I sure hope you're right.  I was reading that June and later filers are getting approved left and right. It is soooo depressing.  I am at the end of my rope.  Who knew it would take this long just to get the USCIS to look at my file?       I am trying so hard to hold it all together.

LoveMyTicoFemaleCosta Rica2013-12-29 17:17:00
IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsApril 2013 I-130 Filers

Although we have an RFE now, USCIS did start Processing our I-130 in  5.5 months after the NOA2 for the I-129f.  I am still not sure but I think the I-129F is linked to the I-130 and pulls it along to the 5 month goal.  Our I-130's are being processed in 7.5 months since I did not know about the K3 for 2 months we filed the I-129f 2 months later.  We're not sure how this is going for the other K3 filers just this is what is happening for us.  We had Two I-130's and the I-129f transferred to TSC on Nov 19th.  RFE for the stepson's I-130 on Dec 19th.  No change of status on the I-129f or her I-130 so far.

RFE is for better English Translations of 3 different Certs that were made before in China.  The RFE is a good guide for what the USCIS really needs.  So I think it is just a mater of giving a copy of the RFE to the Translator so the new English documents look right.

I had HIGH hopes for the K-3 when our lawyer adivsed us to file it in OCT.  It has been merged with our I-130 and it was transferred with the I-130 to the TSC on Nov 27th.

Haven't had any word on anything since the transfer EXCEPT I received an approval on Nov 26th  for the petition I withdrew back in 2009.  Go figure. headbonk.gif

But I guess they had to send the approval so they could revoke it. Not sure why its even coming into play since it was withdrawn back in 2009.  Last dates on our status are Dec 3rd for the I-130 and Dec 2nd for the K-3 which I am assuming  is when our files were actually received by the TSC.  I wonder if my file is sitting on someones desk since somebody sent out the paperwork for the old petition.

This week has been very hard for me.  The immigration process is wearing on me pretty bad.

AS far as our translations.... I had a professional translating company do our translations. I hope itis enough.  His birth cert if pretty old. Its the original. That is the only thing I am worried about. It was hard to get a good copy for the package. I had to make a color copy because the original is yellow. The color copy showed up better than the black and white.

Crossing my fingers and toes that somebody picks up our file tomorrow morning ...blink.png

I just saw that I-129 applications from Vermont Service Center are also being transferred to CSV starting December 23. This has to be a joke. USCIS is accepting more applications than they can handle. Why can they not just hold on accepting new applications for couple of months. Work on the back log and then start accepting new applications. They think that by transferring the applications from NBC or Vermont Service Center to other service center they have resolved the problem. They are simply transferring problem from one trouble center to another. What is happening here !!!

Let's be thankful they are transferring to California and not Nebraska ans Texas.  ( knock on wood)

Transferring files from one black hole to another is their way of showing the public they are making progress.    Instead of wasting all that money and time transferring, you'd think they would just start adjudicating...

What I wouldn't give to be with my husband right now.  I even thought about flying down for New Years because I really can't take this anymore  until I checked the prices.. $1200. is too steep for a spur of the moment 4 day excursion.  I have to save my money for the interview trip.

Funny how Im not the only one who has opinions about illegals.

Do you have anything to post to the others ?

I have a problem with illigals getting preferential treatment and I quite displeased with Obama for passing the DACA. I wouldn't have voted for him if I knew him passing this would affect me. His decision has affected me and my wife. Why is my life being put on hold because of preferential DACA files? or the hurricain typhon. I am so sick of USCIS giving preferential treatment or thinking that some situation are worth more than others. If they would process files as they receive them, we would not be here today. Illegals here should wait longer, since they are already with their loved ones. As a matter of fact, they should go back to their home country and apply from there to be at the same level with everyone. I am sooo sick of people taking shortcut while others follow the regular path.

I agree... if I would have written this, the moderators would have banned me. But there is nothing that says I can't agree !!   LOL LOL LOL

How are you waiting like us? My wife cannot come to visit me, even for 1 DAY, she isn't allowed a visa and if she had one she would be turned away at the POE by the customs. I have been with my wife for 3 years and she has never met anyone in my family, not even once. You get to be with your husband, he gets to meet your family, no one puts any limit on what you can do with him. You are in immigration heaven thanks to the fact that your husband and/or his parents BROKE IMMIGRATION LAW and took by hook and crook what legal immigrants like my wife wait YEARS for, permanent residence in this country. You're not waiting like we are, you paid the same bill but you get most of the benefits (benefits others like us would kill for) right away. If your husband was brought here as a minor I sympathize with his position (not with that of his parents who chose to break the law, they should be deported ASAP) but illegals will never get much sympathy around here from people who follow the rules and get punished for it. If he came here as a minor without his own consent I hope one day he does get citizenship, otherwise he should be deported. There's a line, we have laws, don't like it, LEAVE. Unfortunately the demographic situation in this country seems to indicate that the laws aren't going to be followed here anytime soon, but thanks to gerrymandering good luck getting citizenship before 2020. I hope in between now and then whoever came here illegally gets what they deserve: DEPORTATION.

Praise the Lord  SOMEBODY else stood up on this thread.

I agree with you 100%.

Respect among others is peace......but the truth is the truth, they get preference before citizens and its not right. Everyone has the right to be "legal", but DACA had to be placed below citizens and LPD because is the right thing to do.

Thank you for your PM, I agree !  And congrats on your approval !

Everyone has the right to be legal "IF" they do it the correct way and stand in line  like everyone else.

Thought about responding ur comment but it's not the first time that u comment about the " illegals". Children who were brought here illegally should have the opportunity to be "legal". U claim to be a wise woman becuase of all ur input and past experiences but ur comments do offend. Yea yea ur gna say " dnt read them" or dnt follow the forum. Whatever!!!! My husband is an illegal, I filed the I30 not him and they dnt favor illegals I've been waiting like u have to. I am a US citizen like u, fell in love with an illegal. Paid the same fee and all. I follow this forum for updates n progress not to read stupid comments like urs. More than half the time I dnt open them bcuz of the nonsense I can imagine. Anyway thought I would stand up for my husband and whisper my thoughts too. I won't follow IGNORANCE!

First, where the heck do you get that "I claim to be a wise woman"?  You said that , I never claimed that...

I agree with the other comments about the illegals getting preferential treatment.

All I said is that they get favortism, you got all bent out of shape because your husband is illegal.  Oh well.

Its not the first time I commented on illegals and it won't be the last.   Maybe it won't be here.. who knows.

Don't open my comments. I don't care...  but as you see, alot of members here have a problem with being pushed aside while the government puts the illegals in front of the line.. its not just me

and since you asked ... I follow all the immigration issues just to be informed... so you can EAT your question about me following the I601A waivers.  Why do  you care?

everyone is entitled to their own opinion.  I have mine, you have yours.  Do you want me to bash you for yours?  I don't think so

March and then April. Mine was transferred to CSC. What surprises me is that even for CItizens it's taking more time. They used to on top of the priority list ..... I guess now it's a level plain field ... Lol

They favor the illegals who filed under DACA and  then they made the I-601A available , all the illegals filed their I-130  so they could file an I-601A waiver  without leaving the country.  How nice, huh?

I don't think it will be an issue, unless you didn't provide enough documents to them where they question your relationship is not real.

I think they attach the pictures to the documents.... almost to prove its really you when you show up to the interview.   I heard that somewhere.   also, there have been alot of RFE's asking for missing documents.  Photos included.

If I were you, I'd go get some passport pictures taken ( both of you ) and have them ready incase you get an RFE.  If by chance they don't ask for them at this stage, You will need them for NVC and interview anyway. I'd rather have them on hand and send them right away instead of scrambling last minute... but thats me.

I am hoping somebody is working at the TSC  Thursday and Friday.  It sure would be nice to see some movement before the new year

They want our marriage certificate, passport pictures, the biographic forms from both of us, and my (beneficiary) birth certificate, everything except the birth certificate we had already submitted with the i130, but apparently it got lost on its way to Texas. So frustrating. The pictures shouldn't be older than 6 month so I had to get new ones taken, and request an international birth certificate. I hope they will have it by mid January and maybe approve it by the end of January...Nvc will probably need two months as well...plus the interview and medical are still to come sad.png this is never ending. Why is it so hard for us?! Somebody said I should report it to ombudsman....how and what exactly, do you know? And is is useful to put a letter to the rfe saying that we already submitted most of the requested things but it got lost...? Thanks for your help ticoslove smile.png

Its so nice how they ask for additional stuff that wasn't on the original checklist.      I know we sent passport photos and both birth certs and his was translated by a certified translator... stamps and seals and all the bells and whistles.

If they are annoyed that the forms are old and need to be less than 6 months old then they should have processed your file within 5 months.   It does seem never ending... I will be so glad when I never have to deal with them again.

Hoping to receive my birth certificate Friday so I can mail out my papers, pictures and other docs to my husband....then he can add his papers and send it to TSC...why did this have to happen just before Xmas where no one really works and half the places are closed sad.png anybody has an idea how long it takes for an approval after they receive the requested evidence? Merry Christmas and happy holidays regardless.

TSC has been slower that molasses lately..  Who knows how long it will take...  What did they ask for exactly?  TSC has been  handing out mostly RFE's. My husband and I pray all the time that they just approve us soon.  We made sure we sent every single possibility up front to avoid any delays.

I would think that once they receive your info it should only take a short time since it is already on somone's desk.    GOOD LUCK .. Keep us posted.

I hope so for all of us. I think us Feb/March/April filers got royally screwed.

I agree     What is so difficult about clearing out the backlog????

I wish I knew why they are holding back on the I-130's filed by USC's...

Well lovetico, I realy admire your faith and hope about getting approve this holiday,i wish I could share the same faith with you,am a April 4 pd and was transfered to NSC on 15 of November and we re asked to wait until 60days, which me and my wife have place our hope on,its realy hard for us lovemetico,we knew immigration process was going to take a longtime, but not this long for only to get NOA2, one love

Thanks... I agree with you. We knew the process was long but I never thought it would take this long just for the NOA2 approval.   When I checked the processing times right before we were married in March, they were somewhere around 5-6 months.  I am so sad without my husband this year.  This is our 3rd Christmas being apart.   I don't have any more vacation time so I have to wait until his interview to visit again.  And at this point... Who friggin knows when the heck that will be.

I really was hoping for something before Christmas. I tried to stay positive. I would love to take a walk through the TSC and see what exactly they do all day.
