Will write a proper review later but had a really good experience, no problems, very nice interviewer who asked the usual things (how we met, whether i wanted to work in US, if we'd spent much time with each others families, when our wedding was planned for). I was wiping away tears when she said i was approved and she said "stop it, or i'll start too!". Called Andrew to tell him and I'm pretty sure he will need to be told all over again when he actually wakes up, i think he was sleep-skyping! We have no criminal records, nothing. The journey is over for us now. I cannot wait any longer. We must be together. I am gonna get everything in order to move to him and marry him there. Does anybody have any advice? I'm in shock. Complete shock. 6.5 months and a denial. I don't understand! If I live with him there, can I apply for a marriage visa for the U.S. in like a year? I am certain I am going there. That's the only way. I pray no one else gets denied. What an unbelievable, horrible nightmare this year has been. Like a list of documents you are supposed to send prior the interview? I don't know why its called "Pack". For us, it was just a letter saying that they have received the petition and to check online for the stuff to send back to them. You have to download a checklist with everything. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	I am very surprised how different it gets once we are approved... Each consulate has such different rules... We have no packets, embassy just calls the beneficiary to schedule an appointment. We bring everything to the interview (DS documents, affidavit, medical result, police certificate, etc - no need to bring proof on ongoing relationship either!) and police certificate and medical can be scheduled anytime, even without approval, nvc case #... London seems to be tough and complicated... In Germany, they have changed the requirements in May. Now you have to send all forms and documents to the consulate after receiving pack 3. They won't give you an interview appointment until you have sent everything in and have done the medical. The good thing is that I now only have to bring my invitation and passport to the interview! There are hardly any new approvals, but many many approvals that were previously RFEs. :| I can't imagine how it must feel to still be waiting If there was at least some sense in their system it would be easier to bear I guess.. Flew to Ukraine Saturday, went to interview today (approved), they said 2-3 days by FedEx, and already have flight back and seats together for next week!!! Congrats!! I just received my “request for evidence” letter (I-797) from USCIS. Good golly, what an idiot I am. Here’s the problem: on page three of the I-129f petition they ask if you’ve ever been convicted of various things, spouse abuse, violent offenses, drugs, and such. Check yes or no, and sign it. SIGN IT, you idiot!!!!!! I guess I could whine about why it should take 6 months for them to detect am omitted signature, but I’m too dumb to have any right to complain. The question now is where should I call to find out if it received by the consulate or not? Can someone help me answer this question please? Thank you. You can also try this method to see if you can find your package. Make sure you read the last page of that thread too, because the formatting changed July 3rd apparently. Now there is no space between the month and the year anymore. I'm pretty sure I have found mine (Waybill: 9325817524) and it has arrived on July 9th. Hey guys, the lady at my fiance's congressman's office phoned today to follow-up with him. She told him that she had emailed VSC first thing last Thursday morning.. (the same day we got our RFE email).. Hmmmm coincidence?? I don't think so. I'm sorry for your RFE That's exactly what happened to us though. We were approved the day after our congressman's office contacted them. I don't think it was a coincidence either. Our visa came in the mail today, just over a week since the interview Glad to have this part out of the way, but it does feel like ####### posting good news when everybody's not approved.. Congrats!! Our NOA2 from June 26 was already forwarded to Frankfurt on July 5th. I don't know if that makes it more depressing for you or if it gives you some hope :/ I've actually done my medical today, so I am just waiting for pack 3 now. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	I have gotten so much encouraging info here I thought I would share this for the January CSC filers who thought Calif was moving quicker than the rest!! 1/10/12 I129F Received 1/12/12 NOA1 Received in mail 1/13/12 "Touched" 6/21/12 Write to my Congressman 6/22/12 Called and put in Service Request 6/27/12 E-mail to DHS Ombudsman via FormDHS-7001 6/30/12 E-mail from USCIS on Service Request: "You should receive duplicate Approval Notice in 14 days" 7/2/12 E-mail from USCIS that petition has been approved. Now it's on to the NVC and wait for our interview! Given that I have visited 8 times in the last 2 years, spent a lot of time with the family in the village, have heaps of photos, cards, e-mails etc I am optimistic that the interview will go smoothly. Thanks! yay! finally got our noa2 today after 182 days i thought it will never happen. Congrats! I keep checking here every day and hope to find a flood of approvals. I had already prepared myself to wait until after July 4. But I have to say that I don't know if I want to believe that it was coincidence that we got approved right when the congressman inquired about our case. It must have been the same day or the day after. Now I am going to keep my fingers crossed for the rest of you! Maybe you guys already got approved but the system did not update yet. My fiancee is sleeping right now but I messaged her on google talk That said, I know how it feels to read other people's approval posts and still be waiting. So I'm thinking about all of you guys! I was pretty down last night and was losing hope and didn't expect anything this morning! Hey hello vjers!!!! I just wanted to say that I JUST GOT APPROVED!!!! I got my NOA2 at 9:45 PM PST via the USCIS website, also I got the email notification and when I logged into my USCIS account and it was updated today!!!!!!!!! I feel sooooooooooooooooooooooooo relieved and happy that we finally got our NOA2, I truly can't describe how this feels.....I thought I was going to have a heart attack of happiness lol wowowowowowowowowowowowowowow P.S. For those who are still waiting, don't give up hope trust me I know how excruciating it feels to be waiting and waiting at the mercy of USCIS and being away from your better half, keep your heads up and before you know it(literally) you guys will get your NOA2 =) We just got our approval today too!
