It is currently striking the Hawaiian islands - especially around Hilo. The expected wave is about 6 to 8 feet but that is still unknown for certain (according to CNN).

PhilippinesMarried life is great
Another consideration . . . are the stares rude or is it that you find the staring rude? It could be people are looking at your wife because she is a beautiful young lady - and people do look at beautiful young ladies. :). Perhaps not all of the stares are meant to be rude? Maybe trying to look at them that way might help you deal with them. Sometimes the best you can do is smile and walk on. That often disarms the rudeness - or at least makes it feel less rude.

PhilippinesAnnotation on my passport 221(G)..what's that mean?
Moved from Moving Here and Your New Life in America to the Philippines Regional Forum as it does not appear the OP is yet in the US and while the OP is pursuing a CR-1 visa, the question may best be answered by those who have gone through the process at the same Consulate.

PhilippinesComedy or truth ?
Moving to Philippines forum as this is NOT a K-1 issue and is inappropriate in the K-1 forum. 'Humour' - especially dark humour - should be restricted to Off Topic or the Regional forums and not posted in the immigration forums. If there had been no explanatory final statement and located where it is, this post would have been considered 'trolling' and the account treated accordingly.

(you should have listened to your wife ).

Additional duplicate threads moved from two other forums and merged with existing thread, plus another duplicate thread of the same topic in a third forum removed as it had no responses.

Please DO NOT start a thread in more than one forum - it is unnecessary and unhelpful. Post in one forum only and then follow up there with the responses. More is NOT better.

Philippinescategory f4, can i still get my 26 yr old son
While this topic originated in 'Bringing Family Members to the US' forum I have moved it to the Philippines Regional forum as over half the topic have been posted in a language other than English. Only English is allowed to be used in the Upper Immigration forums and rather than trying to have each post translated - which would be required if it were to remain in the Immigration forums - I am just moving the whole thread over to the Philippines Regional forums, instead along with the warning: if you wish to discuss immigration topics in the Immigration forums, then you must use English as the posts must be understandable by all users of that forum. If you wish to use a language other than English then the posts are restricted to the Regional forums only where others who use the same languages are able to understand you.

Moved from Tourist Visa forum - which may be the correct forum - however, non-English is only allowed in the Regional forums so I have moved this thread to the Philippines Regional forum. If the OP wishes to repost her question in the Tourist Visa Forum she is welcome to do so in English.

Yes, the OP is going through Manila in the Philippines. As this is a country specific topic - and I understand Manila does do things differently than other Consulates - I am moving this thread to the Philippines Regional forum and merging it with a previous thread started by the same OP that is already there.

Prot - please do not repost your topic again but continue to post in this same one even though it is not in the K-1 forum. While the question is by a K-1 applicant, it is about a process unique to the Philippines so is best addressed in that Forum. We want you to get the best information you can and you will find it for this question in the Philippines Regional Forum.

Philippinesprenuptial-question
One post containing an inappropriate comment has been removed.

Also, just as a reminder it is a good idea if you are adding what is a humorous comment to a serious thread, to use a laughing or a smiling or a winking emoticon. Humour can be easily misunderstood or misinterpreted in an on-line forum where the other person doesn't see your smile or hear your laugh - especially for someone whose first language isn't English. You may also want to re-think if the humour is appropriate under the circumstances. :)
