Asia: East and PacificW2 will do?
For mine i collected 3 years tax transcripts, 3 years tax account history, letter from my employer, letter from my bank, statement from my stock account, and 3 weeks of current pay checks. I show way over poverty level. Maybe its a little overboard? I'll leave that for the CO to decide. I'd rather give too much than not enough and end up with a blue slip smile.gif.

The point is you don't get tie to the damn computer......... Plus you can get call logs to print out for your interview.

Maybe the tied to the computer thing is a generational preferance. smile.gif. personally i would rather sit at a computer than walk around on the cell any day. but i've also been using computers since i was about 4 years old smile.gif. Yahoo has all sorts of logs that I will be bringing along.

For random talking we just text back and forth. This has a log on my Tmobile service.

Good times smile.gif.

LIke i said what ever work for you best........ Key point is to save money and convience .... I just want to point out some good services so people can use it. For my case, i do not want to sit on the damn computer for 10 hours plus at work then few more hours at home......... heheh. Don't want to be a computer freak........

So how is your case? Get all the paperworks prepare?..........

Yeah, packet 3 is complete and we are waiting on packet 4. I'm heading back there in Oct and we will finish getting all the evidences ready for the interview. She already has all the other paper work and documents collected and ready. She's also starting english classes on the 1st for 3 days a week to get her confidence up. She speaks and understands enough to communicate and get points across etc, but she has little if any confidence in her english. She'll be ready for the interview though, i'm sure.

i use only Yahoo Messenger to call her from computer to computer. I find it is crystal clear and far superior to land line in every way. I can actually hear her and have no lag times, etc. Oh, its also free and has a log.

Asia: East and PacificK1 vs. K3
I traditionally married my wife but did not do the paperwork for it. This satisfied the family (they get to see their baby girl get married) and kept the government stuff a little more easy for me.

*shrug*

I'm also curious what the Consulate thinks about not having ticket stubs and having an itinerary instead. Has anyone had experience with this? My other issue is that my Passport doesn't have any stamps (been to Viet Nam 7 times) because I've always had a loose Visa that the Vietnamese Customs keep upon exit.

Same here for the visa.

I used China last time and it was a good flight... you complain about 20+ hours? Heheh, I come from FL so i get to tack on an additional 2-3 hour layover and 5 hour flight. I think this time around my total travel time is nearly 30 hours do to a longer layover in Japan. This time around i'm going to try out AA, which uses japan airlines. I figure i might as well try a few places as i will be going back to vietnam many times over the years. I'll be heading over in about 3 weeks myself smile.gif. maybe we will bump into each other smile.gif

PS. my first flight ever was from FL to HCMC in march... my second flight ever? Here to HCMC in oct. hehehe
