Dens...that question about mistreating.....

honestly, I think it's about control. They mistreated and yet, the child is still looking for approval and/or love of some kind. So, it's pretty easy to use those ties to get what they want, even after what they did. I've seen it over and over again. Makes me sad.

I'd go to Mexico. I'm dying to go to Mexico.

@ sus
No the last thing he got was the K1. so right now he is out of status. But I was reading the form on the AOS and also called and they said K1 is the exception. That there is no deadline on filing the AOS as long as we were married in 90 days and we were. Curious as to what the other form is though?

@JQ - Dag.. why you had to do a sis like that. I would love me some Apple Bees but I got to lose me 50 lbs by 7/1, I am home now grilling salmon and broccoli. But dag that Apple bees look niccceee right now. My hubby loves his FATTTY... but I gotta do it

He's been here years without a green card? How has he worked?

There is no time limit. But years is an extreme.

I agree..not many single men. The couple who stayed next to us fought the entire trip and they got married on the boat  His groomsmen had a ball with the ladies and I guess he wanted to be part of the action...wrong decision.

The women did not ruin our trip cuz Damien handled himself but couldn't believe how bold the women were.

Sus - Damien wearing those t-shirt get lots of complaints of guys too...it's kinda funny.

The last time I was on a cruise I was being beaten upside the head, dragged by my hair and was filing charges on board....but I digress, that's a story for a different day.

Hey Nat , Mo

I can't type the whole name out LOL

I want to move to Arizona primarily for the heat LOL but here is a list I found on the net that was cute. My Plants would flourish there!

Bob & Brandon's Top 25

Reasons to Move to Arizona

.

25.) Arizona has 300+ days of sunshine each year...nothing wrong with that!

24.) From Phoenix, you're only a 6-hour drive or 1 hour flight to Anaheim (ever heard of a place called Disneyland?) or San Diego (you know...the city with the great zoo and Sea World!)

23.) Mountains everywhere – We even have one that's in the shape of a camel.

22.) Love golf? The Phoenix area has over 5 MILLION courses to choose from! (Yes...we're exaggerating... but there ARE a lot of them!)

21.) We've got one great sports team... the Suns; we've got two pretty good sports teams… the Diamondbacks and the Coyotes. We didn't count the Arizona Cardinals football team, because they haven't had a winning team since.............

20.) Have you seen an Arizona sunset?...especially during the monsoon season? They are B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L !

19.) The Saguaro Cactus… nothing says 'Welcome To The West' like the Mighty Saguaro.

18.) There's this "little ravine", about 3 hours north of Phoenix, that some people call one of the "great wonders of the world"; it's called the Grand Canyon!

17.) Spring Training! - For only 7 bucks you can watch the big leaguers play ball...not to mention hot dogs and nachos!

16.) The cliché… "It's a DRY heat." Trust us… it IS better than high humidity.

15.) Shopping - Even though we don't do much of it, we hear Scottsdale has some of the best shopping in the country.

14.) Miss the snow?? You won't, but if you like to ski or snowboard, head to Flagstaff (peak elevation 12,000 feet!) during the winter.

13.) Calling friends and relatives in the middle of January, and complaining about getting sunburned.

12.) Being able to sit outside in the evening without being attacked by mosquitoes!

11.) Did we mention over 300+ days of sun? Oh yeah… we did. We just didn't want you to forget! J

10.) The Phoenix area has one of the easiest "grid" systems for getting around the city; it won't take you much time to learn your way around.

9.) No earthquakes, tornadoes or hurricanes… but we LOVE our monsoons.

8.) Places to Eat – we swear… you could eat out at different restaurants three times a day, seven days a week, for a year… before you'd have to go to the next block! (yes…we're exaggerating again, but there are restaurants ALL OVER THE PLACE!)

7.) The People – you'll actually walk by people in the street, who will say "Good morning" to you, instead of looking down and away, and ignoring you.

6.) Scottsdale was, a few years back, the country's "Most Livable City"; although it lost its title, it consistently ranks as one of the best cities in the country to live.

5.) Everyone LOVES a college town; Tempe is the home of Arizona State University, and is probably the best place to go on a Friday or Saturday night to have a good time.

4.) The economy is very strong, buoyed by the phenomenal housing boom. There are, in general, plenty of jobs, and Arizona is a hotbed of in-home businesses.

3.) Those cute little geckos running along the outside walls of our backyards, and the roadrunners that make you slam on your brakes when they cross the road.

2.) Palm trees that make you feel like you're on vacation 365 days of the year.

and the #1 Reason why you should consider moving to Arizona……..

1.) Bob and Brandon will help you make your move, and home purchase, smooth and successful!

Isn't California really expensive to live in though?

I have a question...

I can work from anywhere as long as I have a great internet connection.
I don't make a TON of money...

In your opinion, what is a nice place to live in the US. Good weather, low rents but good schools.

I feel like I have asked this before, but I would like a change... however, school is important to me with Tierra!!

I like St. Louis. Not GREAT weather. But, usually very decent. Great schools in the county. Low housing and rental prices.

Ha ha.....just you wait. Teenage girls will make you do a whole lot of things you never thought you would do. Or say, for that matter.

what i wanna know is with all the satelites and technology that exists why are we still looking to a critter for that answer

You see what they do in Philadelphia? Stupid big hats and all that. I should go shoot that Phil. I am new to hunting could just say I thought it was a really big squirrel!

Okay I finally caught up.

Dens...tomorrow is the day you have been waiting for!

My weekend was good. We had a birthday party for my daughter. Her birthday was in December 18th but with Christmas, traveling to Vegas and all that has been going on we never had a chance to throw her a party. So we had a skating party yesterday and let me tell you NEVER again will I skate. I am so tired and sore today I can't stand it...the kids loved it and of course want to go back.

As for Valentines I am not sure what we are doing yet but maybe going out for dinner sounds good. I got him a new phone so I told him that is his present for Valentines day. It is a Behold II from T-mobile and just like Nat had to get the data plan to go along with it. He loves it so that is all that matters.

MrsTee...you keep doing what you are doing..you are obviously the better mother so take care of your daughter.

I love to skate. If you ever want to get into skate shape, you hollar. I'll go with you. Indoors or out.

Oh and Philly I didn't have a chance to watch my movie this weekend but once I do I will let you know how it was.

I could not get into the movies at the firehouse. I was not a happy camper

LMAO at the advice we all gave Thompson - every last one of us told her to lie and tell him you have to be there earlier than you do - We're in trouble if the men ever read this and catch on!

Um, hello.....I took it one step further. I up and leave if I have to be somewhere and I'm constantly waiting on someone else. They eventually figure it out if they want to get out of the house.

The only way around it is to search out the phones that don't require you to use them. I had to give up my blackberry when we changed plans. Not happy about it. But, I refuse to pay those stupid fees.

O.K. ladies advice time....(please)

The basic question is how do you deal with island time?

Since Vaughn has come I'm always ready before him and I put make-up on and he doesn't. It has just been a slight inconvienance until this past week when we had plans to meet friend of mine who came into town. The first night we were suppose to meet them at 10:30pm and my hubby wasn't ready until 10:30pm. He tried to say he thought I said to be ready at 10:30pm, but I said several times we were leaving at 9:45pm. I just thought it was really inconsiderate of him to not only make me wait, but let my friends wait around too. The next night we went to a movie with them and I thought for sure after I asked why he was late and told him I thought it was rude he would make sure to be on time. Wrong he was late again and caused us to ge to the movies 5 minutes late and that was with me making him dinner and him having to to eat it in the car. I realize 5 minutes with previews first isn't a big deal, but I had enough and told him how I felt. He didn't see the big deal and thought I was over reacting. His solution is that we don't make any plans where we have to be there at a set time. I asked what exactly was going on with him always being late? Does he just start to get ready too late? He didn't really have an answer. I told him I thought it was rediculous to say we can't go anywhere that has a set start time when he could just try to get ready sooner. I suggested that he get ready 15 minutes sooner than he normally would. So ladies, what has been your experience with this? The thing is one of the things I love about him and Jamaicans in general is their laid back attitude, but this has got me stressed.

BTW My2 don't worry we will be on time to your wedding. ahaha

Tell him you have to be there an hour before you actually do.

Worse case, leave his late #### at home. He'll learn.

:luv: He meant it with love!

That's so sweet! I bet you wish you could be there to fly back with him....he'll be okay though.

Mine too! We've even gone into the Ferrari dealer & he's taken a pic next to one of the cars....we were going to get him next to this sweet red convertible but right then, the batteries in my camera died!

Yeah, he acknowledges it....maybe not right away but once he starts thinking about things, he realizes it.

I have good experience NOW! Of course, now that I think about it, younger guys have had a tendency to be attracted to me.

He could wear boxers! We don't have a washer & dryer but as I've often complained, we live behind the laundromat so that makes it convenient. The one big plus is we can find a quiet hour & go in & use 7 machines at one time & get it all done FAST!

OK, I already explained to Philly earlier in the week, they don't run around in their boxers there!!!!

TAHM, work will be ova soon, don't you worry. You feel like I felt at 7:30 this morning.

Ells, Ray loves any kind of car. He got his car in Sept and already he has tented the windows, go an alarm, remote start and now looking for blue fog lights (yuck) and rims. He told me he wants rims for his birthday. I hope someone gets them for him because I'm not buying rims for a car. No way Jose! LMAO

I don't have to call you since your on her Shemmy. LOL

Ray will wash only if I take to long. I hate washing too.

Where or where is Sus when I need a picture of TENTED windows?????

I would like everyone to know that this morning when we were riding the bus to work/school, he said to me, "I like that you push me....no one ever did that for me before."

You are bad azz Lawny!

Me too!

He definitely picked the wrong target!

My washer and dryer broke a few months ago. I've had someone doing my laundry a few times a week. Washing, drying, and folding. I'm seriously thinking of not buying new ones for a while. If I could only get him to dress really sexy when he does it all!!!!

Philly,

Ray laughs at americans when they get mad for being called fat. It use to bother me, but now I just go along with it.

The funniest thing happened with my 12 year old nephew was here from TN. Ray called him fat boy and he turned around and called Ray Kunta Kinte. We all fell out laughing so hard that even Ray and his friends were laughing. They didn't even know who that was. That was the funniest sh*t....
