Love me some Sean Michaels -- John Cena too

Ever have a day where your hubby is on your ISH LIST?? Well, today is my day for that.

I've been sick since Sunday & he's been USELESS! Last night capped it off. While he was at school & I was home sick, I did laundry (as I always do...he still can't figure out machines), went to class, went grocery shopping after, came home & all he'd managed to do was shower & complain about being hungry, I made dinner while he worked out & then folded his own laundry cause I finally refused to, he fell asleep on the couch by 9:00 (as usual) & I cleaned up the kitchen....his azz had the dyam nerve to say I was being a little loud when cleaning up. Then I started thinking about the amount of housework I do compared to him & it's very uneven. Yes, he cooks & does dishes but it's about 50/50 lately. On top of that, I do EVERYTHING ELSE! I don't like him very much today!

And what happened to being taken care of when sick???

Ha ha......he will do even less when he gets sick! Keep dreaming if you think it will ever be 50/50. Men are men are men are men.........................

Congrats LadyC!

The Lost Boys is one of my all-time favs too! They filmed that in Santa Cruz all over & at the Boardwalk....that's about an hour from SF & one of my favorite oceanside towns...I'd live there if I could afford it.

Jason Patric in that is just so yummy. I just love the music in it too. And, Grandpa just kills me.

JG I missed that too while reading I went back and looked though. Glad he is okay and his partner too. Was it a bad fire?

Basement of an apartment complex. They took 2 bedridden to Barnes for smoke inhalation. I hear the complex is pretty mad. No one was hurt bad though. It was on Russell.

Better then last year when that Pevely Building on Grand collapsed and he nearly was under it. ###### that was about this time last year. Thinking he should vacay in March and April every year.

I am fine right now actually but I would say by the weekend I will be missing him. I am happy for him that he got to go back down just a little disappointed that I couldn't go with him. I told my son I would beat him if he didn't stop crying. Total joke there...I told him he is the man of the house now and he needs to man up. Told him to go and take a shower and wash all that funk that he is feeling off and when he came out he was much better. Said he felt better too.

Ha ha.....man of the house in his spidey jammies!

ST. LOUIS: Two people are injured in fire
ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH
03/09/2010

Two elderly people were injured Monday night in a fire at a four-flat apartment building at 2141 and 2143 Russell Boulevard.

The man and woman suffered smoke inhalation and were taken to a hospital, where they were listed in stable condition, St. Louis fire department Deputy Chief Brian Walsh said.

Firefighters rescued the man and the woman, who was bedridden, from separate apartments.

The 9:30 p.m. blaze likely started in the basement and significantly damaged the building.

The cause of the fire was not known. One firefighter needed the help of his partner when he became disoriented inside the building and his breathing unit began to run low on air, Walsh said.

The firefighters got out safely and were not hurt.

I was a nervous wreck last night. The Partner mentioned would be my BF.

One of my strategies for not getting searched was to pick the line that had a man checking your form, and hide the hand with the engagement/wedding ring. In my experiences, men are more laid back & easy-going than women, esp if you smile.

Right! When my last supervisor took another person's full time job & gave it to me ON TOP of my full time job, he said "If we had more people like you, we wouldn't need as many people." I was like.... Thanks?

I've found the way to avoid feeling overwhelmed, or the way to stop feeling overwhelmed, is to make a list of all I have to do & just go through it one @ a time, checking them off. Seeing check marks on the page make me feel better.

Funny you mention Grand Pineapple. Last February, my mother, aunt, & I toured it and I liked the colorfulness, as well as the location. Have you stayed there? If so, do the bartenders/waiters come to you when you're on the beach to take drink orders? That's something very important to my mother. She had it on her first trip to Jamaica (@ Beaches or Breezes) & missed it on all the others.

Hi JG, how are things going?

Things are wonderful.

Sorry I ran out of here Friday. Had a doctor's appointment in afternoon.

Went to a rockin' country concert Friday, hung out at FH on Saturday, and played bingo yesterday. Didn't win anything again or it would've been freakin' fabulous.

I know you didn't ask my opinion but I love Royal Decameron Resort in MoBay for girlfriend trips. I personally don't like to be on vacation with lots of kids running around. It's a smaller resort on the hiop strip and we can walk everywhere. Just my 2 cents.

I second that. I stayed there a few times.

It's possible. It's his frist trip back and they're going to ask him if he's brining things for family. I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think you can bring in up to $500 worth of goods. So, tell him to be prepared for his suitcase to dig up. What we've done in the past is bring receipts (don't produce them) unless they fussing at you about the cost of something. In my case, I brought home 2 flat screen 22 inch TV in my suitcase and they tried to tell me the tvs were more than $200 a piece. They wanted me to pay taxes on what they thought the tvs were worth and I told them no I have the receipt.

One more thing, have him remove tags from everything. They don't bug you so much with clothing...it's electronics.

and toys.....bastards!

I gotta run but I have to post this

Ok I'm not having a big wedding, just a little something in a church for the sake of having some nice pictures then us and whoever I invite all go out to eat, in other words no reception. This is the dilema: my family isn't too thrilled to see that I'm getting married, my guess is that because my sister's husband just up and left when he got his greencard. I don't want to go somewhere too fancy or expensive to eat when #1 I have to foot the bill, #2 my family won't even eat because it's not Jamaican food or rather, food that they know and #3 why invite them and they're not so thrilled?
My other alternative is to invite my best friend, (we've been friends since preschool so we go deep) BUT she's paranoid schizophrenic, doesn't take it serious and thus doesn't take her meds. So I'm stuck as to what to do, who to invite and how to approach the situation with my family. A friend of mine said I should just grab a witness, go down to Atlantic City, get married and screw the family and friend but I have to think that I'm coming back home to this crazy family and friend. What to do, what to do?????

Elope to Vegas and find 1 witnesses at the Elvis chapel!

That's cool. You know, I didn't even know where you were in this visa journey process, or how it works in Canada.

JG, so why do the dolls cost so much?

The box of memories is SO important. A few weeks ago, I went through a box my mother gave me after Hurricane Katrina. It had stuff from my kindergarten - high school years. Looking through it, I laughed & cried.

MsSheka, glad he's feeling better. When I was throwing up in Vegas, coca-cola was the drink that made me feel better. Which was strange, cause I probably drink coke only a few times a year.

Well, they are made well. My daughter beat the hell out of her dolls and they never looked it. Other then that..........economics...........supply and demand I suppose.
