Both. All. Variety. Nice balance, don't overdo. Don't underdo. unsure.png

FB chats can be edited this way, not sure what you mean by editing unless you mean delete some.

In the inbox click on action. Then check delete messages ( not conversation as it will delete everything with that person).
Then click delete.

I personally will collect a few  FB chats and Viber app messages/call logs. I take screen prints of some.  My main ones will be yahoo, emails and skype, cell and land line. They prefer "real" phone activity over apps, some do not accept certain apps like Viber.

thank you so much Ebunolowa and yes I meant delete. I am so ready for this to be over.ClockWatch2.gif

Yes I agree, always know what you turn in. It is best to print chats once a week or so then you don't have to read and print

1000 + at one time.
I made the mistake to not do so while being in AP for 16 months and am now knee deep in many pounds of paper sorting, reading, printing

for the refile after the denial. Have to go through 4 years of relationship evidence. Talk about insanity !

Are you referring to facebook chats or text message chats from your cell phone. I am trying to figure out how to edit the Fb chats and also how to print out the text message chats.

Have you read the consulate reviews ? Sorry if you already did.

http://www.visajourn...=IR-1/CR-1 Visa

When you enter 'Ghana second interview'  into the VJ search bar there are some older threads popping up also.

Perhaps you can pm some members who have been through it if need be.

Thank you. I looked through that but did not go past 2011 but I think I will. I also send two messages to two members so far but no luck.

Those of you that had a second interview and brought the petitioner with you, could you please give me any feedback on the process. Meaning, were you separated from the start, allowed to speak, did you have to come back a third time????

Tosh LoveFemaleGhana2013-07-28 14:27:00
K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsI just can't stop crying

No they did not ask him for any specific evidence just to "provide additional evidence of a relationship with your petitioner."

Eg. Photos, Cards and letters, Phone Records, Remittance slips????, Emails, other evidence you might be able to provide.

I will scan this form on Monday and post it on this FORUM. It might help someone.

Good that you spoke with the person in charge of handling this, make sure you sign the privacy form before you leave and have a

a sure fire way/plan to get in touch with them quickly if needed over there, you have a very small window to work with if they want to return

your case. Inform them of the issues now so you won't have the long back and forth from Ghana to here. It's best that at a moments notice

they can intervene and spring into action while you are still in Ghana rather when you have retunred home.

Great idea. Thanks

Two things I see upfront  see is where are your conversations to each other. Letters, gifts, cards. You submitted phone records but where's the emails, IM's the dialogue talking of the business, the future, the wedding. Affidavits from family  attesting to your love and commitment.

Also the money transfers was a big mistake. It doesn't matter you have a business. You are single. All this co-mingling is not a normal thing that most non-married folk do. And face it its high fraud country and money coming from the USC to the immigrant will always look suspicious.

For your next interview do bring your texting, IM's chats, Skpye, emails to your interview. Seems you kind of just focused on your business relationship and not the love affair. How did you write up your relations timeline was it all business stuff or was it January 1, 20XX we said I love you. March XX, 20xx we got engaged, etc.

This whole process is about you convincing them you are in a bonfide relationship pure and simple saying you have a business means that you are in business together not that you love each other. Sorry to be blunt but you need to prepare better for your interview to be successful and be approved. They don't believe you are real. So its up to you to prove them different.

Thank you for being so blunt with me. I had to step back for a moment and realize that maybe I presented more than enough information that we have co-mingled funds, see each other very often, communicate a lot, have future plans, etc but not enough about our personal relationship. Though I think this should have been enough in most circumstances, it might have been lacking for that consulate. I intend to make love to him in the Embassy waiting room on the day of the interview if need be (just kidding), but I get it.

I am not sure you should be worried about that. This is a service that is offered by many congressmen and senators. They have a budget allocated for it, and forms to fill in. It is an official business... I don't see why it would be considered as a privilege in your particular case. You should activate it, as any other citizen would do (this is just my opinion, I may be very wrong...)

And if it works better, or if it goes faster because you know those people because of your work... Gosh, I hope everyone will just be happy for you and smile.

I agree with you on this but since they have not denied me yet, I want to just go to the 2nd interview with the additional evidence and then proceed from there. I personally spoke to the person in charge of these affairs at the office and she suggested that I do what was asked first and then she would take it from there. Wish me Luck. Thanks by the way,

I can so relate to going ballistic and being on the news ! At one point I told them I am not leaving until I speak to a chief. I waited a long time.
Hours. But instead of escorting (i.e.throwing) me out they finally let me talk to someone. No use but at least I did what I could and didn't take this

####### laying down with my tail tucked between my legs.
Try to be firm and assertive and look them straight in the eye. Be confident and show that you won't be intimidated. Last resort at

I feel better already reading this. I truly thought I was losing my mind by being sooo angry amongst all the other emotions I was feeling. I will behave myself though, I promise.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsI just can't stop crying

Thanks so much for all your advice and kind words and I am glad for everyone that chimed in. This is what I have gleaned so far:

Mail evidence -- We don't send each other that much mail so I have about two pieces of mail to send

Facebook, Skype -- I thought they were too personal but now is not the time to be delicate so here comes the shock and awe.

Senator/Congressman -- Unfortunately for me, I have access to these people due to my line of work so I am hoping to wait incase I get DENIED to bring in the big guns for concerns for inpropriety, etc.

Affidavits -- I am going to get as many as I can from friends and family and have them notarized to take with me.

Photo Albums -- I am going to organize them a little better and write a whole story to go with each group.

Please let me know if I forgot anything else. My big fear is that I will go ballistic at the Embassy because of all the frustration but I am sure my fiance will keep me calm. He always says I am prone to end up on Ghana News the way I react sometimes. Figures and toes crossed on that!

Tosh, dear... welcome to a ####### embassy.  The same happened to me/us, and to many other couples, in Guayaquil.

(For others reading:  This is why the consular phase of the immigration process should never, NEVER be underestimated.  It's also an example of how the petitioner's presence on the consular premises NEVER hurts and could help.)

Tosh, steel yourself:  The "joint" interview will probably be a Stokes.  See this thread:

http://www.visajourn...iew-any-advice/

Read every one of the "Reviews: Embassy" for Accra, paying particular attention to the WORST stories.  Contact some of those members who are active, and pick their brains.  Get a free or paid consultation with a sharp immigration attorney who's a member of AILA (www.aila.org), especially one who might have experience as a consular officer.

Knowledge is power.  This, plus the sincere support from all your VJ friends, can give you the strength to surmount this bump in the road.

Thank you so much. Will definitely be researching this tmrw to find out what to do for a possible Stokes interview. They do not necessary know I am coming but I think they expect me theregood.gif

I am so sorry that you are going through this. I have went through three interviews and we had provided all the information as well. Now we are in Administrative processing. I don't know what is going on in Ghana some of us are getting through and others are not. Just continue to hold your head up high and you will definitely get through this.

Blessing to you,

Shiya

Thanks Shiya and you are truly a stronger person than I, because if my presence at the interview does not prove anything to them and me marrying him will not make a difference either then I am truly out of options. The future suddenly looks bleak for me from this standpoint and I don't know what else to say. I don't have any more tears...

Have you tried contacting a senator and having them to request that the case stay at the embassy and give him a second interview? Also you can contact the embassy as well and ask them for a phone interview with you so that you can answer some questions for them. Send them evidence of your wedding plans, maybe this will help with showing your seriousness of your relationship. Good luck

Sooo many people always say show money like pay pal and western union transfers. But for high fraud countries this is not suggestible because it just looks like that person is taking your money, and this comes from two people I know who used to work at embassies and work in the office with me now.
And don't cry, it will be okay. I know you have to cry a little. Then you finish crying and think about your next step. You will make it through.

Thank you Janelle2002. We do have an interview on Sept. 12 and I am attending but I am just frustrated right now and just heartbroken. I am sure I will get over it, but it just hurts.

I agree contact your congressman. But at this point you will need to push them. Mine took 6 weeks to respond the first time.  Also, download and mail the release form so they can access your information.

Just curious, is Ghana one of the countries that allow the petitioner to attend the interview?  If you did not, that may have raised a flag. Just guessing.

Thanks Slowlyman. We have a second interview and I am attending as his "evidence."

These are the items I sent and what my fiance also brought to interview.

Pictures from March 2011, July 2011, Dec. 2011, July 2012, Jan. 2013 (about 60 total)

Cell phone records from 2010 til now about 2 sheets from each month iwth his number highlighted

Our relationship history

Copies of all passport pages

Birth certificate with my name on it for his son whom I have adopted

Bank account in Ghana with both our names

Papers from ownership of a Taxi we own together in Ghana

Records of money sent to him in Ghana from my account to OUR joint account

and of course all items required for the 129F visa itself.

They asked him two questions and ask him to bring more evidence of our relationship on September 12. #######??? Going to Ghana to me means going to visit everyone at home and it costs a lot of money when I visit so it is not just the price of a ticket and hotel.

I am soooo upset and do not know what to do. We have spent money on planning our wedding in September because I thought an interview in July would give me enough time to get him here by September. What else do they want?cray5ol.gif

In high fraud consulates you are dealing with persons that have no other clear path to the US,  see getting to the US as a path to heaven and would spare no effect at snagging whatever visa they can get.   We both know how many of the approved couples here don't make it to ROC as a couple because of fraud and I also know a lot of these people front loaded the heck out of their petitions.   I still stand by the opinion that high fraud posts need the run fiance and marriage petitioners though a lie detector.  It would prevent the false denials like you and I both worked through and stop the flood of fraudsters that are duping the consulate ( and usually a petitioner also )

Indeed! I am just flying blind and hoping for the best. We both wanted to get married and realized that we were letting someone tell us we could not do so and we did something about it. Now we just have to figure out how to live together in the same place. One step at a time. Sadly there are probably 100 people who were approved today in embassies across the world because they said the right words and looked the part. Oh, well!

I have no doubt that he is real as he has been vetted by at least the moderator if not the owner of the site via a DOS email address, allegedly.

This is true, sadly, and confirmed by our alleged CO on the other forum.

He specifically stated that front-loaded petitions are looked at suspiciously by him and the post, which doesn't make any sense.

Thank you so much to everyone who posted with suggestions. I truly appreciate everything. He woke me up early this morning and we drove to AMA in Accra and just got married and I will file for CR1 when I return. He was so disappointed yesterday and I felt so bad for him but we rebounded and I honestly believe that everything happens for a reason and in its own time and I am very happy at the moment and know this is my life-mate forever no matter what. Yes. You do need to fill out the I-134 for proof that the petitioner or a sponsor can support the beneficiary when the arrive in the US.

For Ghana

Once you get your NOA2 wait a week call NVC (1-603-334-0700. Press 1 for English
Press 5 for an operator)
for your embassy number which starts with ACC. Once you have that wait a week or so and email the Ghana embassy (IVDVACCRA@state.gov) for your pickup date. Include Petitioner and Beneficiary birthdays, names, ACC number. They will eventually email you back with a date to pick up packet 3 (which is also packet 4-- with interview date). They schedule the interview not you. They also mail the interview letter but it takes about two months to arrive at the beneficiary?s address.

Tips for Interview ? Please give your information to CO before you get to the final interview window because the CO at window will not ask for it and is possible to have made a decision before you get to window.

Good Luck!!
