I have got the same question, but my solution is to write town and country shorter. Otherwise I can't fill in this line.

I bought tickets last week. kicking.gif It costed about 750 $, it's okay, all the tickets were more expensive one month ago. I am flying on February 8th. Yes I think our wedding will be in March as well. kicking.gif
I have to finish lots of things to be prepared for the trip. Plus I have to work till January 30th.

Yes, I was given my original birth certificate back right then and there after they checked it against the copy. So no worries!

Going from memory, I think the only originals they kept were the passport (which gets sent back to you with the visa), the two pictures, the medical report, and the police certificate (so make sure to make a copy for yourself).

Yup, they returned all of my originals *save the ones Chris and Lori mentioned*, they even returned the pictures I had sent with the original I-129F forms smile.gif

I'm glad our reviews helped, like Chris said, make copies of everything you have just incase, but really - this was the easiest part of the whole journey. Relax and enjoy the feeling of having all that stress lifted when you're done biggrin.gif

I am glad to know you were approved and everything went well. I had my interview on January 13th. I had the same feeling when I was done, and I was very excited and happy when I got back home. I just got tired of my trip, and it was pretty cold outside.

As I write this, Chantal is sitting here right next to me! The interview went fine, she waited to get her Visa the next day, and I picked her up in Vermont the day after. We drove all the way from Vermont to Ohio to visit family, and arrived here in Lynchburg last night.

My interview date is scheduled, it's January 13, Tuesday. I will have my 2nd trip to Moscow next month.

My news - I am back home at last. kicking.gif I spent the whole day in Moscow yesterday. whistling.gif I went there to pass my medical. I got the results in sealed envelope. I didn't enjoy my trip much though, because I had to travel to different places for payment, for med exam, dhl, then I had to wait and pick up the results. plus I was stuck in Moscow railway station from 5 to 10pm, because there was a problem to get another ticket.
Anyway I am done and I am looking forward to the interview date. star_smile.gif

Hi Rocks! I haven't received anything yet. I know I need to get only one yellow envelope that contains invitation for the interview and instructions how to prepare for this. There are instructions on website, so it's okay, I know what forms and documents I need. But I need to show this invitation when my interview day comes. So I am concerned that it hasn't arrived yet. We called DOS on November 12th, they told us the date and that the letter will be sent soon.

We got married last Thursday. A short ceremony, but nicely put together by the judge. Everything here is going pretty well. After 2 weeks here we're going to the local office here for a SSN, and then we're going to bow ourselves over the AOS.
I got an EAD stamp at JFK, and the expiry date is 11-03-2009 ... hmmm what does that mean? For what I read here I still have to apply for EAD along with the AOS. We're also going to the DMV when I have the SSN. Pfft, paperwork paperwork ... it never really stops eh? biggrin.gif

My oh my, what a stressful two days I've just had. I serioulsy doubted I'll be making my Monday morning flight since as of Thursday night embassy still didn't have my visa printed. In fact, we've heard that it was done with only around 4 pm today. My sis had only two hours to rush to FedEx office in order to pick it up. What can I say, she's a total star for making it in time! star_smile.gif Anyway, see you on the other side of the globe next week, lol smile.gif

Hi Everyone ! I hope you are still here. I know most of you are pretty busy with preparation for the trip or the wedding. star_smile.gif I hope everyone is doing well.
My news , yesterday we called DOS and were told the interview date, January 13, Tuesday. good.gif I have to wait another 2 months though. Anyway it's good to know it's scheduled at least. Today I have checked up the Embassy website, and yes I saw our case number and the interview date is correct. I hope I will get the invitation letter from Embassy soon!!

I came home & guess what!...In mail box I recieved a letter from NVC dated November 06 2008
I m sure now that my last touch was approval.. good.gif good.gif . and the USCIS website case is still saying pending .. I m Waiting for my NOA2 too.( I will wait 2-3 day to get hard copy) Hope tomorrow it will show up in my mailbox. (last touched 10/31/08, previous touch was 7/11/08).
