Philippines	NVC Update!!	Thats not true at all thats what they normally say but u just gotta keep calling everyday......i was told the same thing and got my case # in a week Why is the case number important? what do we need it for? So your time should be definitely soon! Yes, that is true by what I have heard. The Embassy needs your medical results for the interview. Thats such a hassle for me because I live in Newcastle, So I have to travel to London, do the medical. Then go back down to London for an interview. When do you expect to receive your NOA2? If it is soon, then I would recommend getting the Police Certificate, it's just one less thing to worry about. The reason I asked you about the NOA2 is because the Police Certificate lasts for a year so you can then judge if you think it will be worth it. I know you need it for your medical. Hope I helped in some way. We filed in July so should be due our NOA2 soon. I'm going to visit the USA in a few weeks so I'll get the police application filled out and sent off as soon as I get back whether we have the NOA2 by then or not. I know your case number because i have been tracking the case numbers near mine to find out if we are next or if we are even moving along with the others. here, i'd share it with you, i just removed the rest of the numbers but you know how it goes:         I129F PETITIONS w/ NOA1 July 26 same as mine   WAC#3740-approved 5/17 WAC#3741-RFEd4/23, rfe review 5/16 WAC#3742-approved 4/19 WAC#3743-approved 4/19 WAC#3744-approved 4/24 WAC#3745-Denied 5/3 WAC#3746 MINE 7/26 AND STILL WAITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!     WAC#3747-approved 4/19 WAC#3748-RFEd 4/30 approved 5/14 WAC#3749-approved 4/19 WAC#3758-RFEd 4/19 A5/15 WAC#3759-APPROVED4/17 WAC#3760-7/26 WAC#3761-7/26 WAC#3762-approved 4/19 WAC#3763-approved 4/19 WAC#3764-approved 4/22 WAC#3765-APPROVED4/17 WAC#3766-7/26   those that say july 26 means they remain in initial review, the rest were already approved or got an RFE.,...so it does make me feel left out.   but hoping that we are next pretty soon as you are right, the wait is excruciating and no longer make any sense when all the rest are done.   That's interesting. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	CSC July filer	I really do feel for you we are June filers had an RFE in December has been with VSC since Feb they told my partner back in March it would take up to 90 days I sent an e-request end of April they replied telling me its with a review officer we would get notice of decision within 60 days. I would send another e-request form now that it has all been updated or call them. Good Luck   Well I hope you get approved very soon! It shouldn't take nearly a year just for this first stage to be approved. Theres still so much to do after this part. I'll send another e-request now. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	CSC July filer	I dont know how you would feel but we are on the same boat. We filed April 19 but only got acknowledged with a NOA1 on July 26, 2012. Every time we ask  for the status (because a lot of August 2012 thru Feb 2013 already got their approvals), they just tell us we have to wait and that we are within the normal processing time (July 18 was on the website). When the proc time got updated a few days ago to 5 months, we called yet again to ask what is up with our case. They just agreed that it was out of the proc time and told us to wait and call back after 15 days if we dont hear back from them.   It is frustrating that we are already waiting 10 months and still have to be asked to wait more....the congresswoman and senators that we contacted asked us to wait for them to act on it for 30 days as well...   we have no choice but to call/email and hope they get tired hearing from us.   I  hope you get your NOA2 soon. I will include you in my prayers. Cheer up! At least you are not alone:)   So you applied April 19? And you're still waiting? That's a disgrace! Especially since theyre approving some people in Feb and March. For an important job they can be very unprofessional. We called the USCIS yesterday and a tier 2 person told us that theyre gonna send a letter to us on May 28 which will tell us how long it should be for them to approve our file... We'll actually see if that happens. And a few days a go we faxed details to the congresswoman. Best of luck.  I know the waiting for everyone is the Big trial we face to be with our love one.  But after the Interview it all goes pretty fast.  August 13 my fiancée had her interview in Manila, took 2 hours, then a Philippine government seminar and interview after waiting 4 days for passport with visa.   Tomorrow, Monday in USA she will arrive at night in California.  So 13 days after the interview she will be here!   I think late night TV must have been developed for those of us just waiting.   Take care 13 days is super fast! You must be so excited! I'm hoping to have my visa by the end of November but I'm going to wait till Jan to go over so I can spend Christmas with my family and do lots of hours at work to make a bit extra money to take over with me.
