Thanks Susie,

I appreciate the passion and concern you express. Every word you said is very, very TRUE. I used the RFE trick twice in the last few days, including HEARTFELT prayer and it looks like I'm finally with an Adjudicator. Touched twice and spoke to one of the Officers who said my case is on its way to an adjudicator! THANK YOU GOD!

Mao-

You have been so supportive for me and I can only return this bit of advice I truly feel that they have no clue what they are doing...and for those that say Oh yes they do.....well maybe those applications went thru by mistakes but in GENERAL THEY ARE FK UP! They lie on their website, they lie to customers that have paid for the RIGHT to have this service. But let me tell you something, and this is what is not right.

When you offer a service be prepared to deliver otherwise ya might as well take down that piece of shyte website that is so full of erroneous words and just put a poker site - ya got better odds there .

Am I teed off at this situation for all of us that have been waiting for god knows how long and the rude customer service and the lies, to say YES would be an understatement.

Sod them, I now have six mates moving to other countries because of their lack of knowledge and forethought, and this has only been this month. Lets give it another month and that number will double.

Absolutely hate what they have become and what this country has done. Don't go on to tell me homeland security for this or that, because that should have kicked in back in 2001, but they just are so mismanaged - I wanna just look at peeps like GOGO and HOHOHO and say " Its just a nightmare, and you will wake up today and it will be ok" - Guess what, I cant. SAD!

Enough is enough - and I only wish they can wake up from their dreamland security and figure out that some people really want to be together as a family - Really and truly dont understand the mindset of our government anymore.

Waiting and waiting and watching all those who filed wayyyy after get approved. Cannot call Vermont & get any info since Processing dates are reflecting July 30,2007 but we very well know we have November filers who have been approved. This really sucks!!!

Sighs - they are so screwed up and tis wrong - MAO - did you get political party involved yet - They are destroying what America was built on - family values and oh yes, honesty, but that little goodie does not apply to their website. Even CSC is so out of whack - my prayers to all that are waiting. TO PUT IT BLUNTLY THIS JOURNEY SUCKS THE LIFE OUT OF YOU and I know of two mates that have given up waiting here in the USA and have gone to their SO's country to wait it out.

Ahlan Habibi,

You are at CSC - they take forever to get the application to Visa Center but sending big prayers and hugs to you read your pm xxx and thanks hun...we are going to go thru this one together. Spoke with lawyer today, told me to get Tax transcipt etc etc and all that good stuff together, so it sorta felt real for the first time. Yikes, USCIS never wish that on anyone. CSC is a week or two behind VSC - in sending!

Nita,

Call NVC and just put in your EAC or WAC number and see if its there - I called this morning did the automated thing and yes we have a case number as of last night - so try this - and we had one touch after approval on the I-130 but other than that they are molesting the I129f alot but I dont care about that one.

So you can call 24/7 and see if its there luv. No need to speak to anyone yet. Just keep hitting the darn buttons like we did at USCIS./

If i can still count, I would say you were out of timeframe - and you could do the option of contacting political party in your area for assistance - This has worked for some members quite well and others have had no luck - just is a hit and miss situation but if you do go this route, and get a good congressional staffer, they can do wonders!

Well done SusieK, it's nice to know that we're not the only ones losing the plot ph34r.gif .... c'mon everyone, we all know that you're feeling the pressure and doing odd things ..... just scribble them down, you'll feel a lot better

everyone forgot about the CUrSED SERVICE CENTER _ CSC

Mo lol hun

Useless System of Constant Information Source aka USCIS

Actually I have these vivid dreams and all I see is "we want more of your time, life and blood to make you go insane" on a protest sign outside my house -

I awaken and say oh thank god - just a dream and then I realize that half of the people I know from VJ have the same posted sign outside their homes. Thinks back to the times when the family value issue was placed high on the list and spouses and or fiance or children were a priority. Now it has become YOU ARE ALL IN FOR A ROUND OF PURE TORTURE FOR THE NEXT YEAR...and we will keep you guessing as to what we are doing. New marketing plan to increase website traffic to USCIS. (wonders what type of hits they get on their website per day)

Sighs, orders more drugs headbonk.gif They think its so right to approve at will, and yet they preach FIFO - dont think so mates. And feels the pain for so many of the people here that are still waitng - shakes head, and orders double strength on the meds. Then wonders about contacting ACLU - thats my main obsession right now -

Tis sad mates, really sad what has happened to our system in so many different area. Ya know the saying " I have fallen and can't get up" - so it seems the way with our government.

Legal Immigration - the forgotten ones!

Congratulations on your approvals, but you guys are K1's so your timelines aren't comparable to K3s and IR-1/CR-1.

I would be very happy if there were any September approvals for IR-1/CR-1/K3, but it would also make me very confused, irritated and upset. Sorry, I've just been waiting for so long to be reunited with my husband and we keep encountring obstacles. And I know my case isn't as complicated as many folks here on VJ. There are folks from May still waiting! #######!!??? I would really need an explanation because I wouldn't understand.

I truely am happy for all the VSC folks, it seems this service center is working faster than CSC, I wonder if they are recieving less applications, or are just more efficient?

Just curious to know, when you call USCIS do they help you in any way or give you an answer as to when your I-130 will be approved? I called Friday and they said my case hasn't even been sent to an adjuticator. I get so frustrated when I see people who filed after me get an approval.

To satisfy that curiousty I truly believe that NO they have no idea - you can read other threads on people being told blah blah blah wait another two years and then call back and then they go get their mail and wham bam thank you by by USCIS onto VSC.

When people get approved before you, it is a common emotion to feel frustration, but in reality it is showing some type of movement from the "snail club" - thats how I have to look at this whole situation for someone to get approved in our timeframe either it be CSC or VSC - it shows that someone showed up for work and actually took out that rubber stamp that day and stamped "APPROVED" -

Hang on please, once you get that NOA2 these feelings will pass and then you can start to sort out NVC issues which hopefully be less painful. Notice the word LESS - but again as far as USCIS giving someone an honest or even better to have answers given that are not an oxymoron in nature - omg thats beyond my imagination.

Cheers and god speed to you

VSC is NOT at mid-September. There are a few cases which have been approved but for most of us who filed between July and August it is still undetermined when our cases will be approved. We talked to our Congressman again and all he could say was that he would be watching the case. But nothing has happened so far. Not even a 'touch'- nada, nothing. So, we still have to pray and keep hopeful that USCIS will be working on our cases soon(ish).

Yeah, No touch here either...by the way folks how are you guys filinf taxes this year if your spouse is over seas. Are you filing jointly or married filing separately. I was told to go for the 2nd option but wasnt sure what to use for SS#. My wife dont have tax payer id since she has never been to US. I called IRS and got 3 answers. 2 telling me to file 1040 and put under wife's SSN as "NRA outside US". One person told me that i have to have tax payer id. Anyone has any clue on this? I dont need to file as married filinf jointly. I want to keep it simple and get it over with. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

You need to file a W7 which gives you an ITIN for your wife. There have been a few thread on here talking about this subject...Check HERE and HERE

Hi Susie, good to hear back from you..sorry been so busy with projects and meetings. How r things? Actually i want to file "Married filing Separately". So in that case i dont need to do anything? except put "NRA" where SSN is needed? AND Did you mail in the 1040 cause i was trying to use taxactonline for e-filing and it doesn't allow anything but numbers in SSN column.

lol same here since the SSN wont take NRA - so will mail it in - I owe so ummmm taking my sweet old time about that issue- same old thing going on mate, nada, and btw Happy Valentines Days to you and yours xxxx hopefully next year this time, well ya know

Yes there a quite a few of us before, its just a hit and miss situation, but this really sorts my heart out and makes me happy that there is progress within our sector - we just have to wait and of course COMPLAIN EVERY STEP OF THE WAY LMAO - Im just glad to see movement for this group - we are going to be a family I believe for quite awhile when we start hitting the next stages so the support is strong for all -

Great news for those August filers -- we filed our I-130 on August 14, received our NOA1 on December 21, and got APPROVED YESTERDAY. Hold on tight -- maybe Vermont is now moving.

Oh by the way -- we were never able to access our case online since we received the NOA1 on December 31 -- just kept getting that the number was not valid. I checked this morning and the APPROVAL NOTICE popped up.

I have yet to receive an email notification or anything.

Congratulations and thanks for informing us. It means now vermonth is mid August. Hopefully gets faster from now on. I guess the biggest back log is end of July till early August.

Sept 20th recieved - NOA 1 Jan 3 - approved today Feb 6 - Vermont Service Center.

THAT IS GREAT NEWS OMG CONGRATS WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Hi guys,
just a little update from us: nothing new. Our case wasn't touched since they cashed their check and sent us the NOA1. I don't see this thing moving any time fast. Their website says that VSC is working on cases from beginning of June 2007 (I-130 spouses) and that makes me think it will still be a while. By now I would be just happy to be able to settle with my husband early in 2009. Keeping fingers crossed that it may be sooner. Good luck to everyone. Lets try to keep on being patient and pray to God that sometime soon it starts to move.

Totally agree I am thinking probably 2009 now also at this point, since there seems to be delay in most of our steps. I think I have come to accept that this is what it will be and if it is sooner, so be it.....otherwise I can't dwell on what other tortures they will come up for people ~~~~~~ Time to move on and deal with what we have been given although for the life of me I wish they had been more honest upfront and factual instead of the normal bs that they deal out via customer service, website updates and notices. TYPICAL -

Good Luck and and soon someday soon this shyte will be over with.

Susie

Just for a kick on a Friday night added up the timeline frames for the I-130 average but included our wait time for the NOA1 - not bad only 508 days average lmao oh god please let me go back to work or even better make a really good vodka martini - again best to all innocent.gif

HELLO AUGUST / SEPTEMBER FILERS - IR 130

HOW LONG ARE WE GOING TO WAIT AGAIN TO RECEIVE THE NOA2???

ohmy.gif crying.gif crying.gif

That would be a roll of the dice in Vegas - I really dont think there is any clear cut answer Shape of My Heart - calling USCIS is pretty much waste of the pads of the fingertips hitting all the darn keys cause you know they are going to say oh, maybe four months, maybe three, maybe whenever.........Wish there was a systematic solution for this group of filers , but really dont see it for the journey, we only have each to depend on for information and what is really going on -

Good Luck on Journey.........................sighs

Well I was able to get online today, so maybe you should check. I guess I was entering the number wrong from the back of my check, but once I got the 797 then i could do it.

Hi family,

Just stopped in to see if anyone has seen any progress as far as accessing case online (yes I know alot can- alot cant) and also besides our beloved Sharif, anything happening out there or do we go back into our coma stages for about five more months?

Cheers to allxxxxx and no go on access on line yet, but no biggie!!

Question to all August/September filers. I know that most of you have already received your NOA1, just wondering what came first:

*NOA1 had copy I-797 (in the mail)
*Checked Cashed

And are you able to get into the online system with your number?
How much time did it take to get into system if you had to wait after receiving NOA1?

HI M-

For me it was the I-797 for another friend it was his check

Can not access yet, but no biggie for me - its not like I am going to see that you are very special Suzy and you are approved lmao - sorry hun just trying to make u laugh...but yes I know you want to see it there as I do, but sometimes they dont show up for awhile.

Cheers

So, if it's 7 months starting from our original sent date on NOA1, it's only 3-4 more months for Aug, Sept filers. I guess if we can wait 4 months for NOA1, we can wait another 3 months for NOA2. Plus, nobody has a second option. We have to just follow what USCIS says. Just wait and watch.

we got NOA -1 in December . my husband called USCIS regarding NOA-2 ,they said they will get back to us with in 216 DAYS ( 7 Months Approx)

DO WE HAVE TO WAIT 7 MONTHS FOR NOA- 2?

yes Sky, who knows and we have learned a really valuable lesson here about USCIS - they call the shots for NOW until the next session of USCIS goes haywire, but maybe it will calm down. If its seven so be, at least we made the system.

Should be interesting to monitor tho as to the approval process for NOA2's - wishing everyone good luck on your next step into the wild blue yonder.

Cheers
