Philippines	Wife Finally got the Visa	Hi Guys, Well as luck would have it the USEM actually sent out the wifes visa package, took 11 days including weekends and holidays..In our case, I thought when we were refused the pink, we had more woes to come, but if ANY of you get a "white slip" after the interview, specifically for NBI aka verification, submit the paper as fast as you can back to USEM..and you will get your visa...hopefully sooner than later. I was expecting to wait weeks, but it was pretty quick...not that every situation is the same. Air 21 tracking number will be in well before you receive visa..The fiance' or wife visits the Air21 counter before leaving USEM building, and once they have your passport/case/number they will issue a tracking number. Also in our case, my wife intercepted the visa at the Air21 terminal in CDO, so she didn't have to wait for the delivery boy to find her. Philippines	Documents for NOA2	Hi, Basically, you will deal with a 3032-230-I-864...in that order..the 3032 download from us.gov.org "the website pretty much has every detail" and will be your greatest source of study. as well as for the 230 and the 864. Dowload the forms..fax them off to your lady so she can sign..and she will fax them back.There is bar-coded letters for each process NVC will send on each one. Then you can compile what is needed for each one. The 3032 is simply a choice of agent, probably you? that is the easy one..the 230 more involved..basically need original AND copies of the original docs..1 of each..for nbi..police ..marrige contract..passport size photos.."get a bunch of photos you need for diff times and submissions" and a few other things that are better check listed off from your study of requirements from us.gov.org...otherwise this would take a whole page to list each and every thing...but have your lady start getting those nbi..police..cfo seminar..marrige..baptismal "helps not req"...records..and also photo copies of her passport..she will be using Fed-ex most likely to send you the docs ahead of time, so a complete list once again..is in us.gov.org..you will eventually end up there anyway, so is why I hint at it most of it is straight forward..some of the wording a little obscure but basic. Last comes the 864..ez for those with 3 years good earnings and w-2's..harder for others..was a nightmare for me..but I used assests and 1099's..remember to put your case number "the one you will memorize" in the upper right hand corner of EVERY document you submit. Philippines	Lining up at USEM Embassy	An hr. before worked ok for the wife,,not every case is ever the same..in our case the phili CO was a woman and she was fairly rude..asking to see my wife's grade school record..my wife is 45 and hasn't seen her grade school records in 30 years..so the CO let that slide..next the phili CO demanded to see the wifes baptismal record..which she just happened to have by chance, so maybe this will give a heads up to someone else..the phili CO wasn't nice..at all..The american CO on the other hand was a pleasant man who looked at the pics of our times together and was more interested in our story than anything else...they seem to know ahead of time if you have what they need..just get past the phili CO and you got it made..best of luck for you and Congrats in advance..	calico1	Male	Philippines	2009-11-04 16:54:00

The wife and I will probably buy a cheap trailer somewhere with just a few things so we can have a US address when we want to come back to the states to visit or whatever, and also find a decent little place in camiguin for maybe 1m to settle into for most of the time. Unless you are totally un-afraid of the abu sayaf I sure wouldn't recommend living in mindanao..especially in Davao or Illigan..but to each their own. Philippines	Im in shock and I dont know what to do	You have many things to consider beyond shock, hurt and anger. She may have told you to get the guilt off her mind, a good thing. She may have told you to initiate your anger, thus forcing you to go your separate ways. She may truly love you and simply wants to clear the slate, risking it all to be honest. Or, the ugly negative way to reason...she had so many strange men for money..that she is not capable of a wholesome realtionship with anyone being de-sensed by giving up her morales. Years ago I had a good friend who married a high class call girl from las vegas, altho she was a 500 dollar trick for a couple years..the woman was glad to be out of the business and turned out to be a very good wife for the next 20 years, so not all that is bad turns out bad. Philippines	ds230	I assume you are in the Phils and your husband is in the USA..have your husband call the NVC periodically..every other day or so..and check up on your case. Sometimes the NVC isn't as fast as other times in processing and they may have not yet processed your ds-230 even though they may have recieved it already, but not entered into their computer data base. Philippines	how long does a cr1 visa take?	Our CR-1 VisaJourney took 7 months and 10 days from mailed I-130 Petition to the wife landing at Chicago POE... I think you'll find the quickest was about 5 months and I'd be surprised if anyone with a straight forward case is taking longer than 9 or 10 months. In most cases it takes 5-6 months just to get the 1-130 approved..add another 4-5 to get the visa completed...from 1-130 initial application to visa in hand for us was 11 months..give or take mistakes made, in our case NVC made 3..so I don't know where you get the 5 month thing.	calico1	Male	Philippines	2010-01-11 10:08:00
