K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I-129F Approved, but says 4th approval noted???!!!	Hi all, I received a I-797, approval of my I-129f petition in the mail today after 100 days since I mail it. It reads: "The above petition has been approved, and forwarded to the listed consulate." (cambodia). BUT, goes on to say: "It has been noted this is your fourth approved I-129f petition"...............WHAT?? I have only ever sent one I-129f or any other petition for immigration in my life. The first one was hard enough....if I had done 4, I would be crazy by now! Anyway, I called USCIS customer service and the lady was nice , but stated that she did not have more information as to why this said this. She suggested that I go online and schedule an INFO PASS appointment with my local USCIS office to try to further understand this. The local office is in Charlotte NC , about an hour away. My question to anyone is: has anyone else run into this problem? Is it a problem? Ummm......not to sound like a "junior" member, but There are SO many acronyms used here that sometimes I feel like I am reading a foreign language!! I have looked up many of them in the index of terms here, but so many still elude me! Is there a list of more acronyms anywhere that I can learn from? For meeting only once, there are tons of couples that do that - just make sure you have a lot of proof of relationship. And don't worry about the fact that your fiance is from Colombia. The MENA girls go through worse! Hey, the "meeting only once" thing is just fine! My fiancee is not from a hispanic country, but from Cambodia. Either way , we only met one time in Cambodia and our petition was recently approved! As stated above, just make sure you have LOTS of proof and all should be fine. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Fiance/ee letter of intent	We used the VJ sample and our visa petition and application were approved with no problem. It only needs to be a simple statement about your intent. The other details will have their own time to be presented on later papers. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Visiting within last two years...is 1 time sufficient?	I only visted my Cambodian fiancee 1 time and for only a week before starting the K-1 Petition. It's been approved. I am sure Cambodia is a high risk visa country. Although, before sending anything, I spent a lot of time reading forums on VJ and asking questions. My fiance now, his mother told him to stay away from filipino girls coz theyre bad... lol when he told his mum that he wanted to marry me, he had to explain that i grew up in Australia so im not just marrying him to get to the US... lol its pretty sad how filipino girls are portrayed.... Yes, I do agree with you. Its very sad for ANY culture to be portrayed this way, but the fact is that many of every culture do this and its unfortunate. It makes it much harder for us honest people. My fiancee is not filo, but Cambodian and I have heard of this in other cultures too. I guess as long as there are visas to be had......there will be some dishonest people who will take advantage of things.
