You don't need the 134/864 for sending in P3.

All you need to send now is:
- Checklist of documents for interview
- DS-230 part I
- DS-156 (2 copies)
- DS-156K
- Confirmation receipt for Form DS-160
- Passport style photos x2
- Color photocopy, biographic data page of passport

The rest of the stuff on the checklist is to be taken to the interview. Hope that helps.

But the odd thing is under "fiance visas" they ask for the 864 instead of the 134. http://montreal.usco...-checklist.html

I noticed that too! We've already got the 134 done and ready for the interview. I think I'll get my fiance to do the 864 as well and take both.

CanadaMontreal website updates
I submitted my packet 3 today, and was trying to use the (amazingly helpful!) Montreal guide stickied here, but found some of the links broken. I googled the Montreal consulate and found that they've revamped the site.

Incredibly, there is actually a section with info on Fiance visas there. Woot!

Anyway, if anyone is looking, the new link is: http://montreal.usco...-k-1-visas.html

(Also notable -- the instructions for P3 last week said to include part I and II of the DS-230. Only part I is required now.)

I hope that helps.

CanadaPolice Certificate
I just did mine this week. I went to my local police headquarters and said I needed the Canada-wide background check for immigration purposes. I filled out the form and paid the fee ($30). She handed me a blue copy of the form and my receipt, and I asked if I should wait or would it be mailed to me... She laughed at me and said the blue sheet is it! I was in and out in about 5 minutes.

It might depend on where in Canada you are located. I'm in Ontario, and it was easy-peasy.

Hope that helps.
