Is anyone else starting to think too much about all the little things in the I-129F packet that could delay your NOA2 or cause an RFE? I've been worrying about my SO's name. The order of his legal name and the name he goes by is different. For example, if in his passport it says John Bob Tom Smith, he does not go by John Smith. He goes by Tom Smith in everything from his university records to his airline boarding passes. So I wrote a little note explaining this in the cover letter, but now I'm thinking they will have to do TWO background checks on all his damn names, thus delaying our NOA2 (i.e. one on John Bob Tom Smith and one on Tom John Bob Smith). K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2009 filers -- post here!!!	I thought I would be an April filer but looks like I am now a May filer! Since my SO and I are both in Australia right now until late August, I had sent my I-129F packet to my mother in California so that she could include a copy of my birth certificate and then send it off to CSC for me. Well, that was all fine and dandy until she decided the line at the post office was too long to wait in and instead put what she thought was enough stamps on the package. That was April 7th. Fast forward several weeks and the whole package was sent back to her for not having enough postage!!! Blah. So she re-sent it on April 25th with certified mail this time, and I just checked online to see that it was delivered on May 4th. Glad it FINALLY got there, but what's up with USPS taking 10 days to deliver something only 30 miles away!? Hopefully CSC doesn't hold up this process as much as my mom and USPS Good luck everyone! I remember comparing notes with you, since we started our time lines at identical times: You sent your I-129F on Sep 6 and was received at CSC on Sep 11. We sent ours (also to CSC) on Sep 5, received on Sep 10. If they told you that they are processing files "in order", well that CLEARLY is untrue, and so unfair to think that people well into 2009 are getting approved while you are waiting (that goes for all the 6+ month-ers here, of course!) You will get approved. And your case will move forward. Don't lose heart! Thank you so much for the encouragement and support! We just got ours approved on the 16th and my fiance received the NOA2 on the 20th. I just things speed up from here on, although they take forever for everything... We applied in June and we never heard anything back and no touches. When I found this website a few weeks ago and I saw that the time we were waiting was really long, we called the VSC, but since we were still within their time line they didn't do anything. On March 16th the time line was updated and now our waiting period was longer then indicated, so we called and they were going to investigate to see what was going on. I checked even yesterday at 6pm and nothing had changed and then at 7.15pm an email with the good news. I wish all the other people who are still waiting good luck. Jenny Yayyy! On Thursday, March 19, we will hit day 210 since we received the NOA1. I'm confident that the NOA2 must be coming soon, but I hope we won't have to wait too much longer. I hope everyone can continue to be patient as we wait for the ever elusive NOA2. me i gave up i have started packing for india i have contacted my attorney all last week no reply so i guess he has not been able to find out anything either............what makes this such a big crime against me is that my mom is sick and i take care of her so it means packing my mom my smaller sisters and brother and dragging them to india........i cant see coming back the move will cost a lot of money so what is the point of returning? im so angry at this system and the total ####### it spits out for excuses i think no one at csc can even tell u if its day or night out side with out having some one tell them they are that freaken stupid...........im so upset today over all of this my own health as many of u know has been effected by this mess.........and as someone said, how long do u let it keep going on? im at my end i have reached my limit..........and sadly it has even started effecting my relationship with perviz we are both crabby people now this is just to much for any couple to go thru with out going in sane time to end it!!!! sara oh sara so sorry. unbelievable! u are right, most couples wouldnt make it thru this. looks like God wants u in India! so sorry for ur troubles! blessings xx	PB&JAM	Female	England	2009-03-17 06:44:00
