Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionI751 just mailed to TSC!

Hi all,

after a little wait time on some insurance papers that I wanted to include in my I751 package, we have finally assembled it all and spent a good 2 hours copying  ..... AND finally sent if off today!
Yay! Back in line at TSC now.

:star: Tanja

Congrats and good luck.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionBiometrics.... AGAIN???

That's not really you, is it old pal?
Right?

 ;)

But I see the point. Having biometrics taken again is part of fraude detection.

My GC expires Aug 31. I'm preparing the paperwork as we speak/write and plan to get it out of the door on June 1.
Compared to the K-1 stuff this is a piece of cake.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionBiometrics.... AGAIN???

I told my wife that I think the second Biometrics is to make sure that she is the same person that intially filed and was approved. I was joking with her, but it would not surprise me if this is the truth

You might be surprised... I'll be filing soon myself...

OK thanks. Our car insurance papers shows her middle initial to be for her maiden name as well, so we'll go with that.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionName question
Got the tax transcripts in, the last piece of documentation to include... Now I'm filling out the I-751 and at last I get the chance to ask a seemingly stupid question

In Part 4 of the I-751, info about the spouse through whom you gained your conditional residence.
I'm sure it has to be the US spouse's current name...

My wife changed her name on her SSN and DL to Kathleen "maiden name" "husband's family name"

Her middle name is nowhere featured on official documents, except her birth certificate.

Do we fill out her maiden name as "Middle Name" on the I-751?

My time is coming soon. I better get started on putting everything together and getting copies. :D
Let the waiting game being, once again!

Fee increase? How much will it be? (I don't check this kinda stuff anymore  )

Yep, make copies etc, but the I-751 is peanuts compared to the whole I-129F thing ;)

Received the NOA for my I-751 ... from CSC  Is TSC overstretched? Our I-129F was also transferred to CSC...

Anyway, it doesn't matter who's processing it, they're working on it and that's what counts

So the next thing will be an appointment letter for biometrics in San Antone...

No biometrics appointments, though.

Well, I know they got my stuff and are spending my money... I wonder when my NOA will come  ... August 31 is my "deportation ;) " date

Thanks peeps, I know patience is a virtue when dealing with USCIS and DHS :clock:

My list was not complete hehehe... pictures... coverletter of course... I also consider including a copy of the page in the phone directory which shows us listed as "Silvain and Kathleen xxxxx" with address and phone#

About affidavits... the guide says.

If you are short on the documents that have both of your names listed on them you MAY include affidavits from people who know you as a couple

I think my package won't be too light as I'm unearthing more stuff ;)

Hi all.

Well here we are, my CPR will expire August 31, thus the '90 days prior to... ' are approaching.

I'm filing through Mesquite, TX with biometrics in San Antonio, TX (office in a small mall area a few blocks behind the main USCIS building there) and compared to the I-129F hassle it seems a piece of cake.

During the first week of June I'll be submtitting the I-751 via priority mail with delivery confirmation, including a $275 cheque (from our joint bank account, so that's already a piece of the puzzle the USCIS will fit together) and copies of the following:

-2 year GC (both sides)

Documents with various dates, showing cohabitation during the past two years:

-TX DL of me and my wife, showing identical address
-Joint Tax returns
-Retirement plan and health and term life insurance through my job, showing my wife as beneficiary
-Joint bank account
-Joint car insurance
-Mail adressed to both of us
-Joint 'Sam's Club' account

I join the 'no-panic league' as this should be enough documentary evidence.

Will keep you posted on further developments.

Best wishes for a speecy process y'all

OK... we sent a cover letter signed by both of us which lists the included documents, stating that these are in response to the RFE, and that they are in addition to the documents already sent with the I-751

..and copies of:

-Utility bill statements (printouts from online transactions) : cable is in my name, electricity in Kathleen's, but both show the same service address.
-More bank statements covering the past two years, especially those attachments showing copies of cheques signed by either one of us.
-Receipts showing use of joint debit/master cheque card by both of us (groceries, gas)
-The coverletter for the tax return transcripts we requested.
-Two signed affidavits, from brother-in-law and family friend.
-More mail addressed to either one and both of us... even junk mail offering credit cards and the likes...

Of course with the RFE and its attachments on top of this pile... I kept a copy of the RFE for my files.

Silvanski, can you do a favour for future reference? (pretty pretty please!)

I've copied your original evidence list below -- would you mind letting us know what you end up sending as supplementary evidence to the RFE (once you get it all compiled)? I think it would help others in the future.
