Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionHomestretch

Hi Silvanski,

How do you know ur 1751 petition has been transferred to from TSC to CSC? Does it show that when you sign onto USCIS to check your status or did you get an email? We filed at TSC also on April 20 with a NOA 1 date of April 25th and we havent been touched since May 29th.

The envelope has the CSC address, the tracking number on the NOA is for CSC.

TSC transferred both my K1 and ROC applications to CSC, which sped up things it seems

So now i get it! everyone who send their applications after the fee increase got transfered to other centers and are getting approved in just few months and the ones that got there way before that are being left behind in rusty drawers! mad.gif

I understand you're frustrated but that's not the case...
OK got transferred and approved quite fast, even after an RFE... but I applied before the fee changed...

so, in the NOA it says that the green card has been extended for 1 year.. how do u get that extension? have to go to the local CS with the NOA and passport? they're gonna send a EAD?

Make copies of the NOA Pedroh... give one to your employer and keep one with your GC ...

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussioncover letter is it enough to much?

Do you think the affidavits are necessary? The USCIS explicitly ask for TWO affidavits:

  • Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by at least two people who have known both of you since your conditional residence was granted and have personal knowledge of your marriage and relationship. (Such persons may be required to testify before an immigration officer as to the information contained in the affidavit.) The original affidavit must be submitted and also contain the following information regarding the person making the affidavit: his or her full name and address; date and place of birth; relationship to you or your spouse, if any; and full information and complete details explaining how the person acquired his or her knowledge. Affidavits must be supported by other types of evidence listed above.

IMHO affidavits are useful/necessary if not enough documentation is available.
It seems that starletth has a comprehensive list, but of course each case is unique.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionBiometrics - a second time????

biometrics ...probably some stupid USCIS policy ........

USCIS does not have the system to track down the previous record and retrive them. I'm sure our records exist somewhere in their database, though.

Weird  I always believed that they wanna compare.... to make sure we're the same person who applied for the GC 2 years ago

We met in person only once (for 14 days) when we submitted the I-129F.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Proceduresproof of continuing relationship
Ongoing relationship is less important than the fact that you have to show that both of you met eachother in the past 2 years.
You most likely also filled out past residence on the G-325 forms which will show your presence in Indonesia, so the passports will support that.

Personal interpretation by that CSC adjudicator I should think. The date written on the back should be sufficient unless they change their SOP's without notice.
