National Visa Center (Dept of State)	NVC send to Frankfurt	Hi, my consulate is Frankfurt as well and from what I heard they are really fast with forwarding the paket 3 usually. From what I have read at specific german forums the people there have said it went smooth and fast. Just have all the required documents ready and you medical done in time. Good luck with Frankfurt. Also I heard from a case where the embassy in Frankfurt issued an paket 3 and later when the person called to find out the interview date - they told her they are waiting to receive all the documents from nvc before they can schedule interview date. Asia: South	Missing original document for interview	You mean they are not open till Jan 12th? I know it is expensive, but it was worth it because it was so fast. Anyway, my suggestion is to scan a copy and have him print it out in Pakistan and bring to the interview. Take it out ONLY if it is requested. If they want the original copy, then you can mail it later. Again, good luck for an instant approval! No , that is when it would arrive there , as I live in a small town. Asia: South	Missing original document for interview	Since you are going through CR-1, I assume you did send all the documents at NVC right? So NVC will forward those documents at Islamabad consulate. What I am wondering is did you send NVC original PCC from SWAT or a photocopy of it? Do send your husband the original if you have it with you, if anything at the interview they will ask for the original and VISA will be on hold till the time he doesn't send the original. I am not sure about Pakistan but in India consulate needs only 1 PCC and that is from the present address. I hope everything will turn out for you. Yes I did send NVC the original, just I've heard stories where documents get lost. Inshaallah that is not the case with us ! Ya my husband already has it. That was how I had forgot to send it. Asia: South	Missing original document for interview	Happy New Year everyone !! I have ran into a problem , and pray their is a simple solution that you guys can give me. My husbands interview is Jan 7Th. I have sent all the documents to my husband, which he received just the other day. When going though them he notice I had not sent his police clearance from his home state Swat , but he does have his police clearance for where he is currently living in , Islamabad and has been living there for over the past 2 yrs. Asia: South	When Will AP Start	It's me again, As most of you know Muhammad was approved. And was asked for his original police clearance form Swat , and of course he didn't have it and was giving the blue paper saying he has to submit his police clearance from Swat. So ... It does say in Visa Journey as well about affidavit of support from friends...I read most of the people comments about how important is the affidavit of support. Europe & Eurasia (except the UK and Russia)	krankenkasse frage	Hallo Anna, also mir wurde von der AOK gesagt, dass wenn ich aus einer gesetzlichen KV austrete, ich ohne weiteres nicht mehr eintreten kann - dafür wäre eine Anwartsschaftversicherung notwendig. Das ist ein Problem für alle, die sich später überlegen wieder nach Deutschland zu kommen. Ich habe nur erfahren, dass es die Hartz IV Lücke gibt. Du hast da meiner Meinung nur 2 Möglichkeiten, wenn Du nicht im Besitz einer Anwartsschaftsversicherung für eine gesetzliche Krankenkasse bist und sofort wieder eintreten kannst: 1) du verfügst über ausreichend finanzielle Mittel, um dich privat zu versichern - die Aufnahme wird sich aber sehr schwierig gestalten - da du ja schon schwanger bist - ich denk da weigern die sich, um ehrlich zu sein 2) du beantragst sofort Hartz 4 (schreibt man das so?), da dich nach meinem besten Wissen eine gesetzliche Krankenversicherung so sofort versichern muss - das ist so ziemlich die einzige Lücke im System, die ich kenne und die du hast, wenn Du keine Anwartsschaftsversicherung abgeschlossen hast. Schreibe am besten mal einen deutschen unabhängigen Versicherungsmakler an, die können dir bessere Auskunft erteilen - z.B. www.mlp.de oder ähnliches, einfach mal googeln. Viel Glück!!! Was muss ich bei der Einreise beachten? Seit dem 01. Oktober 2004 gelten für Haustiere (Hunde, Katzen und Frettchen) neue Tiergesundheitsbestimmungen der Europäischen Gemeinschaft. Die neuen Regelungen dienen dem Schutz vor Einschleppung und Verbreitung der Tollwut. Damit es bei der Einreise keine Probleme gibt, muss jedes Haustier, das aus einem Drittland stammt und in die EG eingeführt wird, * mit einem Mikrochip oder - übergangsweise bis 02. Juli 2011 - mit einer lesbaren Tätowierung eindeutig gekennzeichnet sein, * eine ordnungsgemäße Tollwutschutzimpfung haben, * von einer amtlichen Veterinärbescheinigung begleitet sein, in dem die Mikrochipnummer oder die Tätowierung eingetragen sind. Zusätzlich sind Impfpapiere sowie ggf. der Befund eines Bluttests mitzuführen. Bei Reisen aus einem Drittland, in dem Tollwut vorkommt oder dessen Seuchenstatus unbekannt ist, z.B. Türkei, Ägypten, Marokko, Tunesien, Thailand, Indien * muss im betreffenden Land vor der Ausreise ein Bluttest (Tollwutantikörpertest) in einem EG-zugelassenen Labor durchgeführt werden, * muss vom Zeitpunkt des Bluttests bis zur Einreise eine Wartefrist von drei Monaten eingehalten werden. Aufgrund aller einzuhaltenden Wartezeiten (für Impfung und Bluttest) können aus diesen Ländern stammende Hunde, Katzen und Frettchen die tierseuchenrechtlichen Einreisebedingungen im Rahmen des Reiseverkehrs frühestens im Alter von sieben Monaten erfüllen. Es ist außerdem zu beachten, dass: * diese Vorschriften auch für die Mitnahme von gefundenen Tieren gelten (Strandhund/Hotelkatze), * nicht mehr als fünf Tiere mitgeführt werden dürfen. Bei der Einreise mit Tieren, für die die oben angeführten Anforderungen nicht erfüllt sind, muss damit gerechnet werden, dass die Tiere an der ersten Grenze der EG kostenpflichtig vom Amtstierarzt entweder ins Herkunftsland zurückgeschickt, für mehrere Monate in Quarantäne genommen oder unter Umständen auch die Tötung der Tiere angeordnet werden kann. Ich hab jetzt mal gesucht, weil ich das auch nur vom Hören - Sagen kannte. Ich glaube Du musst Dir einige Infos beschaffen und eventuell Bluttests machen lassen und dann könnte es gehen. Aber ich irgendwas von 3 Monate altem Bluttest gelesen - also informiere Dich schnell und vielleicht hast Du ja Glück. Ich hoffe Dir ist geholfen. After that they will schedule your interview appointment. I send mine in with the other forms because I had everything by then. Europe & Eurasia (except the UK and Russia)	appointment for medical before sending back package 3?	If you are in Germany and going trough Frankfurt for a K1 you can just set your own appointment. They wont set it for you. I had my medical before I even got paket 3. Also as far as I remember does the checklist not ask if you had a medical, it tells you to set one up and then you can mark that box. So just go ahead and set you up your medical apointment and mark that spot on the checklist afterwards. Even if you have not had your medical at the time of the interview, you will still get that appointment. They will just wait to issue your visa until they received all necessary documents. You have to report it to the Bafögamt. In her paperwork the dependency will switch from her parents to you. Her parents income wont count then anymore. Das Interview selbst dauerte 20 Minuten, sie hat ein paar bills einkassiert und dann sich die Fotos angeschaut weil sie gerne welche anschaut. Dann haben wir festgestellt, dass sie auch ne Katze hat und sie hat uns ihre gezeigt (Foto). Dann hat sie den stamp mit "approved" geholt, meine I-94 rausgenommen und den stamp in den Pass gehauen Die Green Card ist geordert meinte sie, obwohl jetzt in meinem case status noch keine Veraenderung ist. Aber das wird dann ja schon So wir muessen nun feiern, ich kann es gar nicht glauben.... Lg Anna Hallo Anna, Herzlichen Glueckwunsch. Ich freu mich so fuer Euch. . They dont care what the final destination is on the ticket. If Detroit would be her port of entry she would get her bags there and just wouldnt recheck them. Also just check with the airline what happens on the return when she checks in at a different airport - or maybe online check in and then just luggage drop off - I would check all those things. United offers direct connections from Frankfurt to Chicago. KLM/NW is in my experience the cheapest if you fly via Amsterdam. But summertime is always super super expensive.
