United Kingdom	Flying cat from UK to USA	I'm also in the process of deciding how to fly my beloved cat from the U.K to Chicago. It's a mind boggling stuff! I've had quotes starting from £564 to nearly a £1000!!!  I think I'm going to go through an airline rather than an agent, the cost would be considerably lower.   I was told that they don't necessarily need the rabies shot before they go, but it would be needed 14 days after arrival. I'm going to get my cat micro chipped, rabies shot & pet passport here in the U.K, costing around £120, then I'll have to book her for a 'fit to fly' check from 7-10 days before she flies.   I am currently looking for an IATA approved cage because they have to be a certain size. Canada	Moving belongings to the States	I'm intending on taking two suitcases with me when I fly. But in the last week I have posted a box of belongings via a courier company and I'm pleased to see that it made it. So I will be sending a few more boxes this way. The only thing you need to know when sending personal effects via courier is that you need to attach anything from 3-6 commercial invoices (dependent on the firm you use) and a CBP form 3299. I want my British husband home by the 4th of July! hehehe  He was the first one called for the first window and 3rd one for the second window.  He was paid and out of there by 9:15.  He's still in London being a tourist with his dad so I just know bits and pieces from our few viber calls. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June 2013 Interviews	Today is the day (well local time for hubby anyway), Interview hours away Speedwell and I have been chatting it up trying to pass the time while we wait to hear amazing news from our husbands soon!   40 min.s WOW AWESOME!!!! VERY VERY HAPPY DAY IT WAS I'm sure you are still reeling from it!!!    Indeed it was a very happy day!! I'm still buzzing over how easy it was......And my visa only took three days to arrive, which was a relief!   ...and there we have it, APPROVED!!!!! Just got a call from my husband that the interview went really well and he has been approved.  As long as the currier gets the job done, my husband will be home with us in 2 weeks!!!!!!!   Congratulations!!!!!!!!!  Do you know how long he was in the Embassy in total?    Hooray Zandra!!!!!!   I am still waiting to hear from my husband, who doesn't carry a cell phone. We decided he woud not call his sister from the embassy and have her tell me the news. He wants to tell me himself and I want to hear it from him. Hi guys, I fanly made it through and have my cr1 visa,now am having problems paying the 165$ for my green card,i tried several times and opened account but on my page i cant find where to pay like step by step thing.am confused and worried.if anyone can give me the direction on how to do this i will be greatful. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Payment of 165USD IV fee via USCIS - ELIS	IF you only have 8 numbers on your visa stamp (under where it says registration number), then when you go to pay your IV fee and where it asks for your Alien number, you should enter A followed by a 0 then followed by your 8 digit number.   The registration number and Alien number are the same thing....just for the sakes of entering into forms etc. you will need to make the Alien number 9 digits preceded by A     Lubnajavid is right...I had to add a zero (0) after the letter A. So instead of it being eight digits is was nine...I wish they would tell you this on the website. Thankfully VJ has been helpful regarding this matter... I sent them an email complaining about the issues I was having regarding paying the fee and am yet to hear back.   Don't know what else can be done, but its not fair to put people through this worry just because there site isn't working correctly...... Philippines	pending case	I was interviewed last feb.3 and i was asked to submit my NBI in my alias or AKA. (i was married and annulled.)i found out that i have my pending case 17 years ago and it was in the archived of the city hall. i was not informed about this..i didn't even know that it was filed.i know i have encountered one in brgy hall.. but that was the last time.i thought it was ended.the case is Grave oral defamation. i never thought that they filed it on court 17 years ago.i follow the process.. i went there and open the case again.they try to call the complainant but it was return to sender and moved,.what i worried about is that the process will take so long ..my medical will expire in a month.though the embassy give me time to take action about this in a year,(or the case in embassy will be terminated) but i am worried about the medical..it's not easy money to pay again and it's not easy to take the process in the beginning.( i belong to a sputum cases in medical..maybe i have a scar..i had a history)it is just this NBI clearance that blocked all of it.I can wait but my fiance is so aggressive about the visa.i a m wondering if Grave Oral defamation is a criminal record? why does this case the NBI have? i am not a criminal. its a civil case. anyone can give me some advice what to do.My fiance is telling to go to USEM to talk to consul ..but i am afraid to do so..it might cause a delaying of the process in the embassy.my fiance have done that already.he called the embassy before our petition was approved so our waiting was extended to 180 days more.(we've been waiting for the petition to be approved or 5 months when it has no result he called the in NVC so we got 180 days more to wait)I hope anybody can give me an advice here.
