I have several questions regarding further steps after NOA2. 1) Do I need to send the originals of the supporting evidance (letters, ticket stubs, hotel receipts?) to my fiance, or copies will suffy? 2) What about NOA1 and NOA2? Do I have to send an originals, or it can be copies? I am thinking, what if the packet will get lost in the mail and then I won't have the originals... Another question. Do I have to wait for something else from Nebraska (except my NOA2) as a cue to send all the required documents to my fiance, or I can just send them in as soon as they are ready? 1 - if it's for the interview is the originals. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	My name change	Hello, I've changed my name when I became the U.S citizenship. I've changed it back since then by going to court and the judge has approved to change my name back. I changed my name on my driver license and SSN. However, I've not changed my name on passport or citizenship, yet. It will take a while if I change my citizenship. I am going to file a K1 Visa for my fiance'e, now. What name should I use? I will need my citizenship to file for K1 so I should use the name as appear on citizenship, shouldn't I. However, other information will be based on my SSN & driver license name. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	address to use if i am temporarily outside US	this seems trivial now with all the delays going on with I 129F processing, but still... i am preparing my forms to send in (or at least, was planning to send them in next week), and am wondering what others who are temporarily outside the US have done with the address block. i have a permanent address in the US but am currently residing/traveling out of the country. which address should i use for residence on the G325 and I129F? Copies of all airline boarding passes, train passes, itineraries, hotel receipts, passport stamps (make sure you can read the dates on the stamps), and other documentary evidence that you have met within the last two years. You may want to highlight or place post-it notes indicating the dates and locations on the copies (to make the adjudication easier) for the person reviewing your file. 2. Color Photo's of you and your fiance(e). Make sure you write your names, date, and location on the back of every photo. Provide two to five photo's. If you only have a single copy of the photo, then make a color copy and send that. If it is a digital photo, have it printed at a company such as ofoto.com. You can also make duplicates of photo's at your local photo store (Walgreeens, CVS, etc). Place photo's in a plastic bag or photo sheet and label the sheet. Note that you may not receive originals of photo's back. 3. Copy of engagement ring receipt (this is something that is a big optional - do not worry if you do not have a ring yet!) 4. Copies of phone bills, cell phone bills, emails (you can edit personal info with a marker), letters (edit personal info also), stamps on the letters (to document the date they were sent), and other written documentary proof. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Naive question perhaps	Just to be clear - it is settling in the US after entering with a tourist visa that is the problem. If the intention is to visit for a short time, get married, then leave again, it's not illegal. The purpose of a K1 is for settlement. If the foreign fiancee does not intend to live in the USA (at least, not at this time) then K1 is not the way to go. Well why complicate? In order for her to return to the US after you leave you're gonna have to go thought the K3 process. Do you plan on not live in the States? Because after you get married and leave the States and you decide to go back together to the States she's gonna have to start a long K3 process, they won't let her enter with a tourist visa anymore, am i wrong? If you plan on getting married, if you're already engaged your fiancee should enter the states with a K1 visa not a tourist visa. If they let you get in the states with a tourist visa with the purpose of getting married it will be going against this hole K1 visa process. People would start getting in the states with a tourist visa (way faster to get than a K1 visa) to get married. Not that they don't already do, but it's not the legal way to go. Good luck!
