United KingdomFlying into the UK
Thanks for asking this question. I am flying home to the UK on Weds for the first time since I came here last year and was wondering whether I should wait in the line with hubby or not.

I think I will. Plus, last time I flew back into Heathrow, It was quicker to get through immigration as a foreign passport holder than a citizen. All the blue passports were whizzing by, whilst I stood in line...cold and depressed to be back home!

United Kingdom2010 United Kingdom Interview Thread
Good luck to the 2010 interviewees!

Having been there and done that 6 months ago and remembering how horribly stressful the K1 process is, how nerve wracking it was to leave England, and how paranoid one gets about subsequent dealings with USCIS (AOS etc)..... I just wanted to reassure one and all that once it is over......you do tend to forget how bad it was in the 1st place.

Best of luck to you all and wishing you a process as free of stress as possible.

E

In regards to not having a job in the US, I was a bit worried about that too - I enjoy going to work and making money etc, but then I realised, in England it's going to be cold(er) and wet(ter) than it is now and I really wouldn't want to be going to work anyway, so why not lap up the sunshine in Florida and wait for the documents to come through! Besides, being with my fiancé is much more important to me than anything here, probably good advice to think hard about your situation!

I'm currently lying around, a lady of luxury in the Florida sun. It's been a month and I'm not bored of it yet biggrin.gif

I have a tan for the first time in 3 years biggrin.gif
