Canada	Ditching/Abandoning Canadian Debt while living is U.S.	They will be able to find you in the USA still. First, all of your information was submitted with the USCIS and everything went through your embassy. I am sure your address can be tracked the same way phone numbers are attacked by spammed business trying to get your buy in on something. In addition to that, you are still a Canadian citizen, your passport will go through the system and that can be tracked to show that you are residing in the United States (at least at the time of entry). I would take care of your business, at least consult with someone in Canada about this. My husband had the same problem and I told him the same thing, but then again, he wasn't going to try and abandon his self-made debt. They worked with him in a way that he will make payments depending on his earnings in the USA. I am sure there is something that can be done for you. I am just saying, running from your problems will only create more problems (financially speaking). I would hate to see your new life in the USA disrupted by debt collectors. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	Can crimes prevent removing of conditions?	Have you talked to your daughter about the issue? That's a pretty bold thing to be making up. I would definitely get professional help involved and talk to your daughter, if you haven't already. And yes, if this is indeed true, your husband would have to register as a sex offender for touching a minor. It's all the same category once a minor is voilated. It doesn't matter the severity of the situation.... once committed, it's all in the same bag (at least in California).
