K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	CSC June 30th before or after	Is it typical to not get any "touches" for long periods of time? We filed June 19 and CSC received it June 30th but we haven't received anything after our NOA1 which we got July 3.... Anyone get anything yet? After they are married or can they get it before, like if they want to Temp work before the wedding? Also, to all: Is it possible to call in at the CSC and find out what the RFE is for before you get the mail? Hey I am currently visiting my fiance in England and we were emailed saying an RFE is requested (all my mail is being forwarded to my parents while I'm here). My mom is going to mail us the RFE when she receives it (I am figuring that we will need to sign something anyway) but is it okay to mail it from England? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	For Those June Filers Who Recently Got Their RFE	We got an RFE in the mail too. California recieved our I-129F on June 30. (even though we sent it on the 19th to Nebraska). Was your RFE an IMBRA RFE? I swore we filled out the new form that included that info... How long did it take to get there from when you got an email or checked online? We got a notice on Friday 15th and still have not received anything... My mail however is temporarily being forwarded to my mom's while I'm in England. Anyone know also if the RFE will forward ok? It's not one of those things that won't forward is it?? Hey, I'm in England until Oct 28 and I am having my mail forwarded to my mother's house (a PO Box to top it off) and we received notice last week that we are being sent an RFE. Anyone know if K1 forms that are being sent from USCIS will be forwarded ok or if there is something special about them that won't forward? If they won't forward, do you think they will just regularly delifer it to my house or send it back? Anyone know the answer or can point me where I can find this out? I think lots of people are getting RFE's for stupid stuff. lol We're getting an RFE (not recieved it yet after a week) and have no clue why because we used the new (IMBRA included) form and submitted tons of stuff which clearly state that we have met this year. Umm... from what I know, a UK citizen can only stay for 90 days in the US...so I suppose you can stay the 90 days and then have to go back. You can be in the US when your fiance/e sends in everything, but you can't stay in the US for more than 90 days...and unless you are in Vermont Service Center territory I doubt you will be approved during that 90 days...but of course you have to go back to the US Consulate in London for your interview (oh and your packet 3 will be delivered to your home, so you don't want to miss that coming). sorry if I went overboard...or didn't make any sense. lol oh and Yes it is illegal to get married then apply for AOS if you have no visa exception is if you can prove you were not intending to get married in the US during your visit...hard to prove apparently... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	RFE Finally mailed off!	Probably should add this to the RFE experiences as well... Being in England, visiting my fiance, our RFE was forwarded to my mother's mail. No problems there. Then my mom sent it onto us in England. Still no problems there. Filled it out but idiot me accidently checked Yes instead of No...had to white out and re-check to No and made a note that I meant to check No for IMB. Hoping not a problem. Also added a supplement with website info anyway just in case they want to check it out and state that I believe the site falls under Exception 2 of the IMBRA. Hoping that works out as well. Just sent off the complete RFE with all the papers attached (after photocopied) to California during lunch using the mailing envelope provided and put both mine and my fiance's address on the back and sent it International Signed For Airmail. I was told that someone sent theirs out as well from the England area. (crossing fingers, arms, legs, etc that this is allright). So now back to wedding planning and picking out items for the gift registry....you know, the less stressful but FUN stuff! lol Btw..here's the timeline for the RFE just in case anyone does what we did. Friday, Sept. 15 was emailed (thrice!) that we will be receiving RFE. Tuesday, Sept. 19 RFE was posted Monday, Sept. 25 My mom received it. (forwarded from about 120 miles away) She sent it to us that day. Thursday, Oct. 5 We received it in the mail and immediately filled it out and mailed it during lunch in England. I don't even remember getting it off in school. Besides didn't Columbus run into South America or something and not the US...lol Just making excuses why people should be working regardless if they are federal or not. Personally I think we should get work off for Valentine's Day as I think that day is to be spent with loved ones, rather than a holiday celebrating a man with a lowsy sense of direction... The consulate issues you with an interview date once you send back the packet 3 forms and checklist. How long was it from when you were issued your interview date till the actual date? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	My RFE - Wants more evidence	We sent the new I-129F form the day it came out which included the IMBRA information. (June 19) However we received and IMBRA RFE later on after I had already given them the exact same info previously. #######?? Very irritating...It's not like it's changed. I still marked NO, based on Exception 2 of the IMB definition. But I was very nice and wrote them a quick description with info of the website we met at anyway and that I said no as it fell under exception 2. I just hope that when they finally receive our RFE this week they will finish our packet and grant us an NOA2! and hopefully they don't put up a fuss for saying No, and mailing it from England instead of back home in the USA. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	CSC Mail Room	I think there have been a few other mentions of waiting after submitting the RFE.... Has everyone received an email or online update after turning in an RFE? We mailed our RFE from England and used International Signed For (big joke!). I believe it was delivered as we check USPS' site, but it said the 98677 Laguna Niguel Zip instead of 98607 where the PO Box is...Then on top of that, it as received on the 10th at around 3:30pm...it's been a couple days (I know, only a couple of days...but it seems they have done it no problem in the past!)....there mail room must not be aware of those Christmas bonuses or something...the rest of the departments caught up and were working but the mail room seems to be dragging....or they need more employees! I just can't wait till our petition finally leaves California and we can deal with some more compitant people (even if only by a little....) Sorry for my complaining, and yes I know there are probably other threads like this or maybe other people have been sitting longer waiting for ANY RFE response...which should just make everything more irritating as some people have been waiting what seems like forever! and still nothing has happened..... Oh this is getting so frustrating.... We filed June 19 but got transfered to California making our date June 30....and now we are watching July and August petitioners get approved without an RFE while I DID fill out the new form WITH the Imbra ####### on it and I STILL get an IMBRA RFE which I fill out with the EXACT same stuff!! We received our receipt for our RFE on 10/17/06 but it's receipt date was 10/16....then later that day we got 5 more emails (well....the next morning as I am in England) and we got the APProval so I checked online and it said APPROVED!
