My fiance is in AR/AP now and every time I email the embassy their response is "this case is still under administrative process" OR they will say "this case is still under administrative review." K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	This is crazy	I think I kinda have to agree with Joey on this. Vermont was processing those approvals sooooooo fast so the NOA1 date on all those approvals was after March 6. Now...they have to go back and re-process those cases since most of them will be re-called for the futher security checks. The reason CSC/Texas is still moving is because they are just now processing cases that have a NOA1 receipt BEFORE March 6. I hope this makes sense......I am sure they will begin processing these cases soon but if you put things into perspective, Vermont folks are now in the same waiting timeline as CSC folks........which I think is only fair............(I am sorry...don't shoot me!!!!!!!) Really though....one processing center should not be any faster than the next because there is not any equitibility in that.......... Sorry guys............. Sorry, I have to agree too. Vermont has been the one service center that flies the petitions through while everyone else at the service center wait for weeks and weeks. Everything should really be the same across the board at the centers. The problem though from much that I have read is in administration.....that is not VSC's problem. Service centers believe it or not.....do have different ways of doing things.....that is where the problem lays. Plus there has been 'fraud ring busts' in California etc.....it all contributes. To be glad this is happening to those going through VSC just so it puts them in line with the other service centers is pretty fcuked up reasoning if you ask me....and I have never been so disappointed in my life to hear that coming from other members. You guys should be ashamed. I agree. Hey, I'm glad Vermont is fast for people too, heck, wished I could've gone thorough Vermont instead of waiting for months for my NOA2. All I was trying to say is that all service centers should process on the same timely manner. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Dealing with Delays	This past week I´ve been through a depression level, I cry all the time, I can´t sleep, etc. I spend my entire day looking for info on the IMBRA law and this thing is driving me nuts. I think I could handle waiting if I knew something was being done and that my petition was being viewed at all. It´s this lack of info and knowing nothing is happening in USCIS that´s killing me. ´Cus I know that once they restart processing, there´s still A LOT of cases ahead of me, when I were so close to being adjudicated ourselves. I'm right there with you! In the past 3 months I have started having panic attacks, chest pain, I either want to sleep all day or I can't sleep at all, lost 2 sizes (but hey....this is OK! ) Everyone tells me I need to calm down, that everything will happen in time, but I am honestly getting tired of those remarks. There are some of us that is able to handle a lot of stress, I used to be able too, but I am not. Since March the embassy in Cairo has emailed us 4 times telling us he is approved and he will have his visa shortly and 5 saying that they need to do more checks! It's like it's almost a game with them and it's putting us on an emotional roller coaster.We all just want to be with the one we love. I know that one day this has to come to an end. That if one wants a congressman to be able to get any real information that they needed to be supplied with a signed privacy release form. Does anyone know anything of this? Because if that is the case then maybe that is something you should look at. When our congressman's aide was assisting us, both David and Chris had to sign privacy releases that also provided pertinent case information so that she was given permission to act on their behalf and able to check into the status of their cases. She has found that a wedding announcement is good to have for the interview but I do not understand this. How can I do a wedding announcement when I have no idea when she will be granted a visa? Also is this something that you do in a local newspaper or what? Thanks to anyone who knows anything about this! A wedding announcement would be very difficult since you don't know exactly when she will be receiving her visa. I was planning an April wedding because we were told he'd have his visa in March.
