I received a reply and it said they would reply within 30 days:( I'm ready to loose it:( Congradulations on your touches today!! What exactly do you ask for when you go to get the Police Cert, here in Ireland with my fiance and want to see about getting that outta the way! Thanks Yeah it looks like things aren't moving very fast at CSC this week, maybe next week they will make up for it? My fiance is in England and were still waiting for are NOA2, but she just sent off for her police cert, the London embassy website had a link of where to send for it and the link had what was needed to get one. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I-134??	Hello everyone, I have a question about the wage and income transcript from the IRS, all it shows is the income from my w-2 and not my income from my 1040 Schedule F, did I request the wrong transcript? I cant seem to find out if there is another transcript I can get from the IRS which will show all of my income. I think I remember reading on here that a person is better off sending a tax transcript then your a copy of your tax return, is that true? or does it just look better having a letter from the IRS? A little more info on me, I work part time and get a w-2 and I'm self employed, I took to many deductions last year so I will need a co-sponsor. Also I have know other way to prove my self employment income other then on my taxes, I own livestock and get a big part of my income at one time of the year. Thanks for any ideas. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	touched?	I see several posts where on their timeline it says "touched." What is that? I know that it has something to do with your papers actually getting touched by a person - but how do you know when they do this? We sent in our papers for a K1 Visa on April 6. Did get the notice that it was processed on May 6. There have been no updates since that time. I check every day and have signed up for email and text notices. So far, nothing. Seems like such a long time with no updates. Is this normal? I am in the US and she is in Canada. Is there something else I should be doing? Also, what is this NOA1 and NOA2? Are there any other terms that would be helpful to know? Thanks! NOA1 and NOA2 are notice of action, you get the first one when they recive your paper work and the second when it is approved. A touch is when you sign up at the USCIS website the last updated date is a touch, I recived one touch right after I sent it in, a couple of days after my NOA1 but nothing since and that was 4-29, I have also read where some people that watch the USCIS website have not gotten a touch but have been approved. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Waiting Since April	I got my NOA1 on 04/15/10. Haven't heard nothing from USCIS yet, only have been touched once on 04/20/10. The wait is getting too frustrating specially when I hear people getting their NOA2 within a month. Should I start worrying yet? I am wondering how many more sailing in my boat? Let's pray for speedy processing We are busy sitting around and waiting too, are date for the NOA1 is 4-27-2010! It's funny that some where on the USCIS website I read that they say it's a mater of first come first served but as we know from the time lines it doesn't seem to work that way! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	1-134 Q.11 To intend to support or not?	Hey I am filling out I-134 for my K1 fiance visa. My case is simple. Im an american citizen, he is a British Citizen. For Q11. I Do OR I Do NOT intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person (my fiance) what do i tick and if I am supposed to tick that "I do" what do i write in the explanation box. Is it more for how i will take care of him until he settles and gets a job where he is earning? in which case i tick "I do" Im intending to marry him and then im sure he will get a job and we will both support each other, so do i tick I do NOT intend? Im confused what is the right one Please help Thanks in advance . God Bless In the UK forum they say that the embassy in London likes "I DO Intend" and then under that put something like, whatever is necessary so he doesn't become a public charge. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Cheapest way to ship documents Internationally	I'm sending off all of the documents and required evidence for my fiance's interview. The file weighs about 7 lbs with everything I've put in it (including co-sponsor's documents JUST IN CASE). I looked online and DHL wanted over $120 to send it, UPS and FedEx had the exact same rates (SHOCKING) at $139 and $148 depending on the services I chose. USPS is between $48 and $65, but it can take a couple of weeks for it to get there (my last pkg from him took nearly a month by Royal Mail, and it was open when I got it, so I'm a little skeptical about sending it through the regular post). Does anyone else know a better/cheaper route? Thanks in advance for your help! I'm in the same boat as you and don't know which is the best way to send it. Wish I could help you out, I'm still not sure how I'm going to send mine, all I know is it needs to be sent very soon. Maybe someone else will come along with the answers? Good luck to you! I have one question, how long can I wait in my home country after I receive the K-1? Do I have to fly imeadiatly to the U.S, or can I wait a certain period? I know that after I get there holding the fiancée visa, I have 90 days to get married, but I need to know how long can I wait here in my home country after I receive the visa before flying to the U.S to be with my fiancé. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Lawyer vs doing it alone	Hello I would like to ask if any of you have used a laywer or some kind of serive to file a k1 visa? here is my situation: i am a 22 year old filipina, but was born and raised in the U.S. Went on vacation at 17 & met a great guy so decided to go to school in the Philippines to be with him. We've been together for 5 years and now have a 1 year old daughter. I finally graduated so I'm heading back to Virginia with our daughter. Rodel & I are not married because we decided that I graduate first. My question is, is there any way I can file the petition while I am still in the Philippines? & is it advisable to use a service? How do we know which Dr ne needs to see for the examination? Is there anything specific? THanks so much and congrats on everything! You might want to check this? But as far as I can remember there is only one doctors office that the embassy uses in the UK, I got this from here the VJ site, "Knightsbridge Doctors in London is the sole contractor for Embassy medicals". K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Medical Examination	We got are NVC case number by calling them right after we got NOA2 and was able to get the medical done before ever hearing anything from the embassy, we also had all the papers filled out when we got packet 3 and sent them the same day we recived packet 3.
