Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	May 2011 Filers	From all I've heard on these forums (from people who have known USCIS workers), the only thing affecting approvals is the order in which they arrive on people's desks. Of course, some workers may be quicker than others, or sometimes the order of files may be muddled, etc. As for Vermont being slower with regards to ROC, sadly that's just the way it is. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	May 2011 Filers	Okay, the financial side seems pretty well covered. Just to check, did you file taxes married jointly? Did you provide all of your tax returns? I didn't have the 'official' tax transcripts - just what I had printed off online - but I also included bank statements with the refunds we received highlighted, to show they matched what was on the tax forms. It doesn't seem as if there's as much evidence to cover living arrangements. Utility bills aren't always very useful. If you don't have a lease/joint mortgage, is there anything you can provide (letter from landlord, for example) that explains how you do live together? No joint medical/life/car/renters insurance? What we sent: Lease Tax returns Bank statements from joint account Medical/dental/vision insurance cards/letters Renters' insurance As you can see, it wasn't THAT much, but it covered the most important things. P.S. to file the N400 does it have to be 3 years since i became permanent resident or 3 years marriage? 3 years since you became a permanent resident. great, how is it different? 1. It's green! 2. Photo is in black and white, not colour. 3. Fingerprint is smaller. 4. Your date of birth and sex are embossed on one side. 5. It has your signature underneath the photo. 6. Perhaps all of the May filers who are being approved aren't VJ members? 32% of the VJ June filers at CSC have been approved. We're probably just a disproportionate sample. I travelled with my expired card and extension document earlier this month, and it was no problem, but the extension document is just a flimsy piece of paper and I was constantly terrified of losing it! Also, I'd make sure you'd get to the airport in plenty of time; the lady at the desk had never seen an extension letter before, and between her having to fetch a supervisor and then double-checking it was okay I was probably delayed by about twenty minutes. I wasn't hassled in any way, though. I'm a little concerned that whenever I enter either WAC number (both the one on the NOA1 and the one on my biometrics letter) that it comes up with 'case not found' at the USCIS website. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	May 2011 Filers	3 June CSC filers and 3 May CSC filers are approved - we're even I think some CSC filers' timeline might not be updated but the majority haven't received the response yet. At least I hope I'm not the only one who hasn't received anything. I haven't received anything yet. Looking at past threads it seems that we'd usually expect to see more May filers approved, at least before June and July filers are approved! It's a bit odd, but oh well. I went back to the UK for two weeks, just returned yesterday. Had no problems leaving/re-entering the country, although the lady at Heathrow had clearly never seen a letter of extension before! I don't plan to go back for at least a year anyway - not only did the trip cost me $2,400 (OUCH! The exchange rate sucks!
