K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	january filers!	It just struck me that you'll get to divide your lives between The Netherlands and Hawaii - sounds like an idyllic combination to me! Actually I suppose that we are all very lucky - few others get such a combination of cultures as are found on VJ. I've had about four hours sleep. Just remember the sunscreen (I didn't think I was that pale until I visited California and the strong sunshine turned me ghostly white in photos) and stay indoors during the hottest part of the day. I'm not expecting everything to go to plan - something unexpected always crops up - but Alex and I have talked about how we hope to manage our finances, what classes we may like to join in our spare time (and through our visits we've learned about the places we like to go), dietary wishes and we even watch the same TV programmes although we're thousands of miles apart thanks to the internet. As for the poll in this thread; we've seen each other three times, each time for 4 weeks. The longest amount of time we've spent apart so far is 11 months. It's hard but it will be worth it. I know that some US banks will scan in the cheque once it has been cashed. At least then you would be able to log into USCIS and check for updates. As long as the cheque has been cashed and they say they have received it I wouldn't worry too much - what is really important is the paper version of the NoA2.
