IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Lost - Questions RE: LingChe NVC ShortCut	It depends on your choice. After your petition is approved, they will assign you a case number. After you give them your and your husband's email address, they will send you both a package with DS-3032 form, which basically asks to choose who will be preparing and submitting DS-230 packet. It can be either You, Your Husband, or an Attorney. For me, I chose my wife to send the DS-230 packet from India. My personal opinion is that if your husband is good at paperwork, let him gather the documents and send it from there. Reason: He will need to sign the DS-230 form. His original Birth Certificate is needed. Original Police Certificates are needed, which he will have to obtain from there. Original Marriage Certificate will be needed. There is nothing needed from you. Unless you have all the orignals needed, I say you should let your husband send the DS-230. He can use DHL Express. It's fast. Photocopy of the beneficiary's passport biographic data page. Original/certified copy of beneficiary’s birth certificate. Original/certified copy of beneficiary’s and petitioner’s marriage certificate. Original police certificates of the beneficiary. Original/certified copy of military record, if applicable. Original/certified copy of divorce decree, death certificate, etc. of previous marriage, if applicable. Make 2 extra copies of this package. He already got the PCC but if its only good for 3mo then its already expired. I did email Dubai Embassy asking this question & they replied if hubby did not go back to Dubai since getting the PCC is still should be valid unless a co request a new one. A. For citizens and residents inside the UAE: The applicant’s fingerprints are taken. Obtaining the document takes between 48 and 72 hours. Fees: AED 110 for expatriates and AED60 for nationals. B. For citizens and residents outside the UAE: Required documents: A copy of the applicant’s passport. A copy of the old passport, provided that the previous residence is fixed in it. A card showing the applicant’s ten fingerprints on the official form issued by the competent authority – Police – in the country of residence. The card should be attested by the UAE embassy in the resident’s country and by the office of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The authority requiring the certificate should be stated. After 10 hours, i called again to try if the status in AVR are still the same.... What i heard is: YOUR CASE WAS COMPLETED ON APRIL 30, 2009! We're praying that our case will be complete before the month of April and GOD answered our prayers. We praise you Lord Jesus - you are our shield and guidance. I love you Lord!!!! One really good advice I learned here and from my lawyer only give them exactly what they are asking for if you submit too much then may be a problem, and when wife and I discuss the interview process i think same advice is applicable . I've been checking the website for the whole night at work but no updates until i went home to sleep at 3am.... After 3 1/2 hours, my husband wake me up and he told me with a smile face lol that he got a mail (NOA2)... Today is my birthday and this is one of the wonderful gift i got. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the requested information. This case will be in suspense until we receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once we receive the requested evidence or information and make a decision on the case, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, call 1-800-375-5283 to update your address.
